While he does push you to keep going, he can also tell when you need the break. He will also talk about other distracting things so your mind is not in the painful push-ups you are doing. It really makes a difference to have a personable trainer instead of someone screaming in your face to give you the extra 10. All in all, AWESOME workout by Eric. This is more than a compliment as I am big runner and I can definitely work out for hours without issues. But Eric gave me a run for my money. There were so many different routines that I felt challenged but never bored. We pulled ropes, we did lunges, we did ab workouts and weight training. He really will customize a workout for you. For me, he made sure to work my entire body finished with abs & stretching. He also told me about the isagenix detox that can help me lose 7-10 lbs in 11 days as he is a believer that no weight training is completed without a diet. I am really excited to try it out and go back for my next session.

And let me tell you, it was incredibly helpful!! After each session I had with Elizabeth (Liz) Karhl, I always left feeling better with looser muscle tissue, additional bone mobility & better physical range of bodily motion. Having been to several different PT providers in Maryland, it is my opinion that Precision PT is the best. I think this because I saw Liz after seeing a doctor about my shoulder injury, and when the doctor said everything looked good (it didn't feel that way at all), Liz was able to diagnose the actual cause of my shoulder pain, and through manual treatment, help fix the issue. So if you're looking to improve your physical health or simply want another opinion on how PT can help fix an injury, pick up the phone and give Liz a call!!

I found this little gym about a year ago because I was unsatisfied with other gyms I have belonged…read moreto in the Bethesda/Rockville area (Fitness First and Gold's). I really liked the fact that you do not need to sign a contract with Precision and although they offer monthly memberships, you can also buy class cards, which is good for me since I am not an extremely structured exerciser. Also, they offer both fitness classes, equipment, and physical therapy, which appealed to me since I've had multiple injuries the past few years that have been affecting my activity level. Precision is in one of the office parks in the Rockledge area and is nothing fancy in terms of its looks and doesn't fall into the category of a "bargain gym," but the classes I've been to (spin, yoga, and pilates reformer) are FABULOUS and are worth every penny! They are challenging, and the instructors really pay attention to what you are doing and make an effort to introduce themselves to new people in their classes, learn your name, and help you adjust as needed to really perform the exercises correctly. They are also great about asking if you have any injuries that limit some of your movements and help you modify as needed. Besides the great classes, the people who attend the classes are much friendlier than in any gym I've belonged to EVER, which is pretty refreshing. The only down side is they do not offer too much in the evenings in terms of classes...so I am trying my best to become a morning exerciser. It's probably better for me anyways to get it out of the way first thing in the day :)

Pulse fitness participates in this, and it's about 5 credits a class through ClassPass. I like it because it's super close to my apartment and parking is never an issue. It's a really cool spot and never feels super crowded. They have separate spaces elsewhere in the building that holds the pilates machine as well as a cycling studio. The instructors are good and responsive to any areas you want to focus on. Would definitely recommend swinging by to take a class here or join as a member!

When your normal routine becomes too routine, but you still have an eye for achieving more fitness,…read moreBeqir will get you there. As a runner, I am pretty lame and kind of lazy about doing anything new. Thanks to working out with Beqir through the physical and mental demands of interval training, I am faster. His patience, knowledge, optimism and sheer athleticism have helped me more than I could have hoped with just once a week training runs. Even though I only focus on my running, Beqir has insight that helps me in so many other ways: from nutrition to strength to mindset. I am not the biggest fan of strength training, but if I have questions or concerns, Beqir can always answer them. He knows how to motivate and push you to your maximum effort without injury - priceless coaching. Injuries would leave me on the bench for running, but this has never happened with Beqir's intelligent, well-planned, well-paced quality over quantity approach. If you have the financial ability and mental stamina, you will not be sorry to train more than once a week with Beqir to build the athletic stamina and achieve your fitness goals sooner than you imagined. I worried that I would never be anywhere close to PR status for my races, but after about 1 year (give or take a couple weeks) with 5 full marathons, I know for certain that I still have something left. It just took Double Eagle Fitness and quality running with Beqir to get me there. Another PR in the bag... and hoping next year brings another. I hadn't been a big fan of this kind of workout before, but Gjoka has changed my views on this. He has an extremely broad range of exercises for his clients to do, and impressively changes the exercises each workout to make it different and interesting - I feel like I haven't done the same workout with him twice over the past six months. He pushes appropriately, and each workout is plenty hard, but he also tailors each workout to the capabilities of the individual. He's enthusiastic, patient, and an excellent motivator. Finally, Gjoka is an incredibly nice, friendly person, and a real professional, exactly the type of person you want to be working with.

Even when I had to travel, Tracey made sure I had a plan and we even did virtual sessions! All in all, it was like falling in love with myself and my body all over again as I lifted heavier weights and made workouts a regular part of my life - things I never thought I'd be capable of in recent years. I'm thankful to Tracey for the gift of wellness and for getting me out of my comfort zone! 10/10 (or in the case of Yelp 5/5) recommend!!!

I've been obsessed with the megaformer workout these past few months and I've found it…read moretransformative for my core and tendencies towards injuries. I normally go to slt in NYC (which is phenomenal) but have been very curious about sculpt. I went this am and while one class is hardly the means for a rating, I found the studio meh as far as megaformer workouts. Don't get me wrong. This workout is difficult and not geared towards beginnings. The straps, balancing and movements cause one to need a few times to get the gist of it. Add on to the general difficulty! So why 3 stars for sculpt. Playlist and drill sergeant like instruction made the class not fun. She counted 20-19-18.... more repeatedly. Grrrr. I found myself repeated looking at the clock which is something I rarely do. In addition, music was circa 1980s and definitely a feed issue to the stereo because there was a scratchy sound for parts of the class. Moves and corrections were generally very good, however. As I've mentioned with other specialty classes it's the instructor that makes all the difference. I'm super spoiled I live in NYC and fortunately a couple of my favorite folks are not only at the tops in their field, some have even developed cult status (so says allure magazine). Best practices equal always a fresh playlist (I've never heard the same list twice for my favorites), good choreography, energy and corrections. So for $35 a class, I'd hope that I get just that. Otherwise I could go to the free classes at my gym. I think solid core which I rate 4.5 stars is better on instruction and energy, music also could be improved. 3 stars bc any megaformer class is a minimum of ok, but the extra factor is instruction and music.
