The day of the event, they showed up early and sent two people to set up. It was a pretty big order and they seemed to really care about how everything looked and wanted to have everything go as smooth as possible for us. The food was good and we had so much left over- I may have over done it. The food was warm and they brought plenty of serving spoons and tongs. There was also a plethora of condiments/toppings like bbq sauce, sour cream, pickles etc. The vegan and vegetarian options were well received. The chicken burritos would have to be my favorite. My only complaint is that the sliders didn't come assembled so that was a bit of a hassle for the group. I would definitely use their catering services again.

For a fraction of the price you are able to get your favorite foods via drive thru and they seriously taste just as good as they do in restaurant. They have a handful of items in stock at all times (pizza, chips, beverages to name a few) but I recommend ordering ahead to ensure all your favorites are prepared to go home with you. Ordering ahead also allows to to prepay so when you pull in they hand you a bag and you're back on your way. The staff are so friendly and accommodating and the at home prep is a breeze. My roommates and I are stocking the spicy sausage and honey pizza in our freezer at all times now. I mean, why buy Digiorno when you can have Richmond's best pizza in your freezer for $7.99!! My only complaint is that I wish they were open later! So excited for the short pump location to open soon.

Craving BBQ? Backwoodz is your place! The brisket with the fat cap on is AMAZING! So flavorful!…read moreCame in super hungry after a long travel day, and that first bite was heavenly. No sauce needed! Another standout was the cucumber & tomato salad which had just the right amount of vinegar. The green beans and the cabbage were tasty, but just a tad too salty for me. I can't fault them, as I rarely use salt, it's likely my palette that is off. The pulled pork was excellent, but needed sauce. Alas I cannot have sweet sauces. I then got the idea to combine the pork with the cabbage and found it similar to the experience of eating luau pork with poi. Better together! I added the leftover vinegar dressing from the C&T salad to the green beans and found that also was a hit. The desserts were very tempting, but I opted instead to order enough brisket and pulled pork for the weekend. It's proven to be very filling!! I also can't say enough about the staff. So genuinely welcoming, helpful, friendly, and clearly proud of their product (as they should be!). Put a smile on my face and will look forward to returning on future trips to Richmond!

We ordered the brisket dinner and the pulled pork dinner. Both meats were very dry and you barely got any BBQ sauce to go along with it. The fries were probably the best side. The baked beans had an interesting flavor, not one that we preferred. The Mac n cheese was fine, but nothing much there. The coleslaw was decent. I think those giving this place 5 stars don't really have much to compare it to. I guess all of my days in Austin, TX ruined me! Probably wouldn't recommend but, if you're looking for standard BBQ, then it may be your thing.
