Peter and his team work with you from beginning to end and they make everything easy to understand because understanding and reading a policy is like trying to learn a new language. I love the fact they try to work with your budget and explain what each policy includes and the cost of it. I can't say enough how great Farmers is, so I'll try and keep this short…read more So my home was affected by the Eaton Canyon disaster and I had some ash and smoke damage in and around the house. I hadn't really thought about going through insurance (I was kind of in a literal fog for a bit), until I got a call from a Farmers rep asking if I was OK and if I needed anything. I asked around and many said it would be a good idea to just go through my insurance to cover any expenses to clean up my home and fix any damages due to the winds and fires. So I called the rep back and said I'd like to go through the process of making a claim. The process was very painless and it was all done online. A couple days later, I got a call from a Farmers adjuster and made an appointment to do an assessment of my home. The adjuster came only a few days after the call, all the way from the East Coast. After spending about an hour or so looking over my home, the adjuster went back, did his report, and sent me digitally a full, detailed assessment of what needed to be done and an estimate of the costs. This whole process took only a week or so to wrap up. This was highly unexpected, as I heard from neighbors and others affected by the fires that their insurance was taking forever and in some cases wouldn't even be able to help due to lack of fire coverage. Farmers and Todd Ma's agency is top shelf and came through when I really needed them. THANK YOU!
