Yesterday, on April 1, I got a hair cut and I also added eight strands of their tinsels as an added service. This is their new location and it's quite spacious. They have about one or 7 chairs for people to wait in. They had a very clean restroom that smelled fruity and looked clean(Yay, who Durant like a clean restroom). Jaime offered a container of toys to keep my little one occupied and it worked. Their prices are the most affordable I've seen so far and there is plenty of parking. I highly recommend Jaime. I started going there and what a transformation of my hair. They are experts in color, hair cuts and styling. I saw why they were voted number 1! All I can say is I have never been disappointed with any service I have had there. I have been seeing Amy the whole time I've gone to the salon. And she is more than wonderful. Imagine my surprise when, after finding it nearby on Yelp and getting a quick phone confirmation they could take a walk in, I open the door to find about 7 ladies, all senior citizens, getting their hair did or reading with their heads in those dryer thingies. But I was committed at that point - so I stayed. The haircut was subpar as far as men's haircuts go though I've had worse. There are some patches thinner than others and my hair now sticks up in random places. It'll grow out, right? Oddly, it was very expensive...$25. Plus they don't take credit cards so I had to scrounge up cash.

Overall, this worked fine for a special occasion blow out, but I would not rush back here. I felt like a number being moved through an assembly line, rather than a welcomed guest. I think that is kind of inevitable in this type of set up, but I do think DryBar could step it up and create more of a luxurious experience to match their luxury service price tag.
