I have been using Chris Moore for years and will say that there is not a better stylist anywhere in DFW. I recently began going to one of his other stylists (Erin?) as it's not always easy to get an appointment with Chris when needed. She's amazing as well. Chris is one of those stylists that you just have to trust. He has a true eye for hair and knows what you need when you don't. Don't bring him a photo from a magazine saying "make me look like her"... He knows that that style on you won't look like it does on her. Instead, say "I like to wear my long about ____ length and usually fix it like ____. Let him tell you what you need and you will be likely be much happier with the end result. He's also amazing with color, I was in his salon one day when this poor young girl came in with horrible, unnatural looking highlights from a salon down the road. She thought she'd save about $20 and go to a cheaper stylist. In the end, She walked out of his salon looking like she was born with these beautiful blonde highlights, I don't know how he fixed it, but he did. I can't believe someone else gave a 1-star review on a salon they've never used. Is it possible that an appointment got screwed up? Yes. There's a 50-50 chance it was your screw up as well. Even so, a 1-star review on a salon is only warranted if they screwed up your hair, which I've never heard of anyone there doing. I have 5 family members and at least 5 more friends who go here and have only heard of one cut, one time, with which a friend wasn't happy. Hands down the best place to get your hair done in Aledo. I had the same person doing my hair for the last 20yrs and after moving I couldn't find anyone that was as good as her. I went to Acconciature salon and spa and got my hair messed up so bad I didn't think it was fixable. Shelly from Christopher Moore Salon did a color correction on me and fixed the horrid cut I got and she did amazing!! Definitely going back to Shelly next time I need my hair done! read more
