Getting colonics is not something…read morethat is on everyone's to-do list, but Marley and her staff make it the best experience possible by delivering friendly, discrete services in a very pleasant atmosphere (themed rooms for a zen feeling). It had been ages since I'd had a colonics treatment and was having lots of issues. I went there as recommended and have kept going every few months (for maintenance). First time, I dropped 20 pounds (and learned that although colonics is not meant to be a weight loss treatment, it can be a side affect of the treatment, especially if you eat a lot of red meat). I felt healthier and had way more energy as my other issues subsided. Like I said, life changing and I highly recommend Detonix-North Phoenix for these treatments :-)

Lots of knots and stress build up that she seamlessly diminished. I will definitely be adding Danielle and her healing hands into my wellness routine.

Thank goodness for Love My Colon Urban Detox and their compassionate staff for helping pave the way to a successful procedure. Did you know you can bypass the Suprep monstrosity altogether and just do a series of hydrotherapy sessions to prep for your exam? I didn't either until my physician mentioned it as an alternative to the Suprep. I'm allergic/sensitive to several of the ingredients in the Suprep and it was my doctor who informed me it was an option. However, he warned me that one session and even two sessions wouldn't be enough. Armed with that info, I phoned LMCUD and asked if they'd be able to fit me in at specific times of the day (I had to do one final hydrotherapy session on the morning of my procedure). Tannis and her crew of capable and compassionate therapists went out of their way to make sure I could get in when needed for a successful medical exam later in the day. Curious to know how many sessions it took? I ended up doing 4 sessions total: 3 "open" and the final one "closed". My doctor told me that I was "very clean" when he went in with his camera. I also fasted the final 2.5 days. Clear broth on the first fasting day, water and tea the last two. I walked out of my procedure about 8 pounds lighter -- but to be clear, this is not for weight loss! I just happened to get the benefits of a nice fast doing the prep and gave my body a rest... which gave it more time to detox. Another tip: liquid mineral drops to remineralize during the fast. Tannis' staff were very compassionate, caring and helpful. I can't express my gratitude enough. They were very attentive, respected my privacy and made me feel comfortable and relaxed. Definitely a no judgement zone! The best detail of all: not having to guzzle down heaps of salts and chemicals via a 6 hour forced purge of my innards. (You should read the pamphlet insert on the Suprep sometime. Side effects are pretty heinous and can include kidney damage, heart arrhythmia and seizues.) So, if you're looking for a more natural/holisitic way to prep for a colonscopy I highly recommend this method. I also benfitted by having some nice fasting/detox results. It was a reminder we should all be cleaning out our "plumbing" more often and giving it a rest!

I'm very grateful to have found a place like Healing of the Body and Mind! They're friendly,…read morepersonable, passionate about what they do, and have a gentle and caring approach with a combined knowledge and expertise that is much needed especially when trying to do a cleanse and detox to heal the entire gut, body and mind together as a whole. I also very much appreciate their space and how clean it is and that they have a bathroom in each colonic room; it makes each colonic session even more comfortable. I was looking for a colonic place with a closed-machine-system since that's what I'm used to for over 13 years in SoCal. I have looked and mostly seen that the Phoenix / Scottsdale area seems to offer a lot of open-machine-colonic-systems and I tried it, but it definitely wasn't for me. That's when I became even more grateful that I finally found a place like Healing of the Body and Mind! I saw Erica, and I am extremely grateful for her beyond belief! I do believe she's heaven-sent! I found her when I needed her the most! I moved from CA and dearly missed my previous Colonic-Therapist/friend. I didn't believe I'd find anybody like my previous, until I met Erica! She embodies everything and more I've been looking for in a Holistic Colon Hydrotherapist!!! She's experienced, knowledgeable, extremely patient, kind, gentle, caring, sweet, thoughtful, and quite literally the Coach that held my hand when I most needed one! My gut issues had gotten bad, I was in pain frequently and couldn't eat much without having side effects. I was desperate and I knew I needed to do my gut liver / gallbladder detox / cleanse again! I found Healing of the Body and Mind and quickly scheduled the two colonic appointments they suggest (to open up the detox pathways) with Erica, I also scheduled a Foot Detox Bath right before a colonic, so I can detox even further. I also did a lymphatic massage with Kasia; anything that would help me reset and jumpstart into my detox/cleanse/healing again. There is a HUGE difference from seeing a Colonic Therapist for a closed-colonic-system session to sit with you and walk you through the entire session quite literally being your mental and physical Healing Coach/Supporter through it all, than sitting in a room alone through a colonic session with an open-system. I am extremely grateful for Erica!!! She is definitely my person and my new healing buddy!! I did my 8 day Fasting / Liver / Gall Bladder flush/detox/cleanse with her and I am also scheduling my maintenance sessions with her in between my longer detox/cleanses, so I don't let my gut issues get to that bad point again. Erica is definitely the person to see and walk you through your colonic sessions and gut cleanses with TLC! Thank you everyone at Healing of the Body and Mind!
