It's hard to find a good tow company but this place has easily secured the last spot. I would even give a better review for the tow company that I was able to charge for theft a few years ago. They never showed up within the time frame then finally came with the wrong size truck for our large SUV. After that, they didn't like hearing attitude back so they dropped our call and said get your own truck and good luck. I was trailering my new horse home when the steering and brakes started to go out on my new truck!!! I was able to get off the road and into a safe parking lot. I called Onstar roadside assistance and they quickly arranged for a tow for my truck . . . however, they wouldn't take care of my horse trailer. Fortunately I belong to USRider and they arranged for Sean to pick up my trailer! He said that he would haul the trailer and horse together for me. He arrived within 15 minutes!! He was kind, courteous, efficient and professional. (He even provided assistance to the young man who was sent to haul my truck to the dealership!) Sean got me, my friend and my horse safely home! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!! What could have been a tragedy, ended being a minor bump the road! Sean is my hero!!! read more

RIDICULOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! There are no words to explain how furious I am with this company and "Josh" in particular (if that is his real name). My car was scheduled to be towed from Brown's Mazda in Arlington, VA to Passport Mazda in Suitland, MD at 1pm on a Wednesday. I got a call from Brown's at 2:30pm to let me know that my car had still not been towed. I called the tow company and asked them what the status was. Whoever answered the phone, with attitude, told me they were very busy and that he was sending someone to tow the car as we spoke.... Now, it is very important to mention that I requested my car be towed specifically at 1pm so that it could make it to Passport in time for them to diagnose my car by the time the service center closed at 5pm, so that I could get a loaner the following day (Thursday) because they typically run out of loaner's around the weekend.... So Thursday morning, I call Passport to ask for the status of my car and if I could come pick up a loaner. They advised me that they had not seen my car... so I call Brown's to see if my car had ever been picked up. The service adviser told me that it was strange because my car had been there when he left Wednesday at 6pm (FIVE hours after it was scheduled to be) but my car was not there when he came in Thursday morning.... at this point I'm scratching my head. I then call the tow company and immediately met with attitude when I ask the whereabouts of my car. Josh tells me that the truck that towed my car broke down and my car is at the tow company... I'm shocked. It is now 24 hours after my car was scheduled to be towed and I am JUST NOW hearing about this. I asked why I hadn't been notified to which he informs me that it is not there job to inform me of these things... WTF?!?!?! I am an extremely understanding person, and I understand trucks break down... obviously that is why I needed my car towed! But what I do NOT understand is 1. Why my car was towed over 5 hours past its scheduled time when 1 hour after its scheduled I was told he was sending someone as we spoke? 2. Why wasn't I notified when the truck broke down that it had broke down and lastly? 3. WHY was I met with attitude when I asked an extremely valid question WHERE IS MY CAR? These people are clearly absurd and I am livid. This company was contracted through Pep-Boys to tow our car. After they were assigned I called them to make sure they would be able to access our car which was in a 4th floor parking deck. The operator was very unfriendly but said it would be fine and he would have a driver call us soon. Well we waited 3 hours and no one ever called. Pep-Boys called after the anticipated arrival time to see if they showed up and we told them they did not. They contacted this company and told Pep-Boys they were never notified about the parking garage even though I called them as soon as Pep-boys assigned them to us. We were lucky the car was safely in the garage. If we were stuck in the middle of traffic on 395 would I trust this company no. We would be left stranded. These are the facts. I needed to get my 98 Jeep Cherokee towed and AT&T's roadside assistance had secured Superior Towing to do the job. I've only had a few experiences dealing with towing companies prior and they all satisfied the usual grimy stereotypes that everyone knows and I won't discuss here. When Josh from Superior Towing showed up he called me and was very friendly. He explained everything he was doing and more importantly (to me) why he was doing it. He rode me over Ourisman (which is funny because it was only 1,500 feet away,) and he chatted with me on the way. I can't speak to pricing because AT&T covered the hook-up fee and since it was such a short distance I didn't get charged the "per mile" fee. Over-all not bad at all. Had to have my car towed on July 3rd. My insurance said the tow was covered. When the gentleman got there he informed me there was a winching fee of $50. This is ridiculous! OMG I would give this place ZERO stars if I could! I called at 12:00pm, and got an ETA of 1:34pm. Mind you, my car - which was at home, was 10 minutes away from the place. Unfortunately, my insurance booked them on my behalf. 2:30pm, no tow truck. I called the front office, the receptionist - who was not the warmest and friendliest person, told me they had in their notes to cancel my towing service. But OK - that was from 4 hours ago, and a new appointment for service was made so why was it in their notes to cancel??! She assured me one could be there in 20 minutes. 3:00 pm, no towing service yet. I called AGAIN, very frustrated this time, and then she tells me he is stuck in traffic. OK, the whole purpose of me requesting service at 12:00 pm was to avoid rush hour!!! If that wasn't bad enough, the driver finally arrives at about 3:20 pm with another SUV on the bed. He then proceeds to tell me he can't lift my car on there because I'm not backed in, so he would have to drop the first car off first in Tyson's Corner. By this time I had 30 minutes to make it to my dealership in time. Why in the hell didn't they tell me that before they came?! Obviously if I need a tow truck I either a) don't have my car keys or b) the car won't start! Needless to say, it was a total waste of time and I couldn't get my car serviced. This was the WOST customer service I have ever received, and the most incompetent staff. I will never use these people again. I advise you to have several hours of time on your hands if you use this company. read more

This towing company was recommeded to me by an auto shop we had previously used. The only good thing I can say about them was that they came within an hour of when I called. After that, things quickly went downhill...the tow truck driver hooked up the car, drove off and dropped it off soo fast that I couldn't believe it (literally in less than 10 minutes). Yes, the shop was only a mile away but he was in such a hurry that when he dropped it at the shop he didn't make sure the brake was set (manual transmission) before letting it go and so it rolled back and slammed into a fence damaging the bumper. I didn't actually see it happen but a man who happened to be in the shop next door heard it hit the fence, came out and saw what had happened, then later asked me if the tow truck driver had told me what had happened (he didn't, just took off as fast as he could). The owner promised that they would take care of fixing and painting the bumper and they did. When I have to tow my car because it isn't running, I don't expect it to be damaged in the process. This is not an experience that I care to ever repeat so I will be looking for a new towing company next time. read more

This place would get a negative star if that were an option. I was referred to this service via my insurance company. I was told it would take an hour and a half before the tow truck arrived. THE TOW TRUCK NEVER CAME! The said they couldn't find my car on 95S after I gave the company specific instructions on where my car was located. They also told me after several attempts to find my car it was probably impounded by the state. It was an unattended tow because of the low temperatures outside. Once I was able to find a ride to where my car broke down, the car was in fact still in the same location where I left it. I tried calling back several times immediately after I spoke with Samatha but no one would answer. I was highly upset because my car was stranded for over 3 hours when the ETA was set for 1.5 hours. If someone would have just called me initially all this could have been avoided. Instead of the tow company trying to help me out they just aborted mission. I would NEVER EVER RECOMMEND THIS PLACE IN THE FUTURE. read more

This afternoon our BMW died in a parking lot. After several small cars tried to jumpstart the battery I called Superior based on the positive reviews. I could not believe how fast Mike got there! He drives the towtruck like a Maserati. Very nice, professional, handed business card and immediately diagnosed problem. Within 5 minutes I was on my way, for the small charge of $40. Service dispatcher is quite possibly the most rude person I've ever talked to. My insurance company provided the wrong contact info to this provider (mixing up two numbers) in relation to a tow. I called to make sure everything was okay and that they had the updated info, before I could get three words out the lady on the other end proceeded to lecture me on how awful I was for not picking up a phone call that was never made to my actual number. Before I could explain she asked me to hold and then disconnected me. They will never, ever receive another dime from me because of this awful encounter. My insurance called to them and I work on an army installation (I'm a pregnant soldier btw) and my car broke down so I needed it towed 6 miles down the road to a body shop that will fix my car... they originally they'd be here by 1:59 pm-2:15 pm. I caught an Uber to be here by 1:30 and I waited until 2:10 to call the tow company in which a very rude man answered the phone and said "We will call when we close" I called my insurance company at 2:45 and they told me the tow company cancelled the request. For some reason my key didn't work in my ignition tonight. It's my dads car and he has roadside assistance through AMAC. Well Superior towing showed up super fast in like 15 mns. The driver Johnny was super nice and friendly and hooked my car up in no time and was on his way to the service station. Since the towing was covered I can't speak to the fees they charge. But I will ssy this much I have never had a towing company show up that quick and be that nice and friendly and professional. I will use this company again if the need arises. I cannot say enough good things about Anthony who helped me this past Monday when I experienced a flat tire on my first day back at work since the beginning of the new year. Needless to say, there was already some stress with going back to work, the traffic, etc. and then to have a flat tire after hitting a pothole on Eisenhower avenue, I was a little grumpy. Anthony called to give me his ETA and with his enthusiastic, warm personality and knowing people as he seems to so well, he immediately cheered me up and said "I'll try to get there sooner!" Immediately changed my whole experience, and day in fact. Turns out he's a graduate of my high school alma mater, and we had fun talking about that among other things. After being quoted an hour the driver called me to report that he was going to be an additional 20 minutes later, which was not met either. I was using this company through Better World Club to take my car to the shop. At 8:30pm I was told it would be at most 60 minutes until the truck could come, and the driver would give me a call when he was 10 minutes away. Ok, that's fair. I waited an hour and no call, no truck. I called back and was told that the driver's previous call was taking longer than expected and it would be another 30-45 minutes. Fine, I waited 45 minutes, plus another 15 just in case he was nearby. Nothing. So I call again, and they try to contact the driver. The driver doesn't pickup his phone despite multiple attempts, so they order me another truck which should be there in 15-20 minutes. Mind you at this point it's been over two hours since my original call. Sure enough, 20 minutes later and there's no truck or call. I call them back and apparently the new driver was stuck doing something at his previous call, too. Too tired to deal with it, I had them cancel the driver and called Better World Club back to get a different company. Luckily my car was having minor problems and I had managed to make it to a friend's house that I could stay at. If this had happened on the side of the highway this towing company would have left me sitting there for 2 1/2 hours in below freezing temperatures. I will never try to use these guys for anything again, and I recommend you avoid them as well. read more

The other addresses you find on the internet lead to two body shops, both of which do not belong to this company. This company is not listed with the Virginia State Corporation Commission. it effectively does not exist. If anything happens to your vehicle you have NO, I repeat, NO recourse to locate the person who towed your car. The Verizon number he uses forwards directly to his Cell Phone. They act like kindergartners. Bad, undisciplined kindergartners. They will tell you they can only bring the receipt to where they towed he car and then they will throw a tantrum, accuse you of calling him a liar, and say he won't give the receipt he never intended to give in the first place. I called every tow company in the area. Let me save you the Hassle of a price check. Standard hook up fee $85.00 with $3-$4 a mile added to the total. I spoke with very friendly man named Tony. When Tony told me the fee i had him repeat it, to make sure i was hearing right. It was.. I expected a older man with a greased up shirt to arrive, with a Smoke Hangin out of his mouth , maybe even a regular pickup truck with some chains.. I realy didnt care because i was in a tight spot. Mike was .... On time Professional Prepared Fast and Efficient and was not greasy or smoking like a chimney. My car was parked in a busy Area and he managed to get the car loaded on the truck and out of the parking lot in UNDER 10 MIN!!!.. Dropped off the car at the shop, and got my reciept. A-W-E-S-O-M-E!!!!!! Best price in town and I will never use any other company in this area,... however I hope i dont have to use this service very much... no one likes to be broke down...BUT IF YOU ARE THIS WILL BE THE Least hassle, lowest cost Towing in the area!! My car broke down in the rain on Friday night, and Mike showed up in less than 10 minutes after I called the dispatcher. He was very professional but also able to calm me down by chatting. I emailed to schedule a time on Sunday to have my car towed to the dealership, and the dispatcher called me immediately to ensure all the details were correct. Mike showed up again, right on time.
