Insanely high prices. I had my car towed for being parked illegally. Not their fault obviously. My car was towed about 15 minutes (less than 20 for sure) away from where it was parked. I was charged $392 to retrieve it! This is insanely predatory pricing. I was told that it was so high based on the distance, although I was in their office with a line of people who were all towed from about the same spot and our price was significantly higher than everyone else's so that doesn't seem to be true. We were all charged an "after hours" fee for picking our cars up on a Sunday afternoon when they are apparently normally closed, nevermind that they had just spent the afternoon towing all of our cars just a few hours before and were waiting at the shop for us to come get them! When I arrived I asked the one person waiting to meet people out front how long it would take to get my car back as I had several people with me who needed to be at the airport shortly and I needed to figure out that timing for them. He immediately got angry with me for asking questions and I'm fairly certain had them up my rate in the office because of it. They were immediately being rude and difficult with anyone who was even remotely unhappy to have to deal with this, whether they were being rude about it or not, and kept insisting they were just trying to help us! You would think people who spend their time stealing cars off the side of the road and extorting people for insane profits to get them back would be used to people being in a bad mood around them but apparently this isn't the case. To make matters worse, they handed out bottles of water while we were waiting (honestly, an appreciated kindness given the heat) and then proceeded to joke with us that we should frame the bottles as they were about to be the most expensive bottles of water we ever bought! Meanwhile there were people in line on their phones with loved ones trying to scrape together the cash to get their car back and somehow this was funny enough to them to joke about. I would never recommend this company for any towing because, as others have already noted on other review sites, their prices are ridiculous and on top of that their pricing, behavior, and attitude with people dealing with a stressful situation were predatory and cruel. read more

My Toyota minivan was stuck in the mud. Superior got me out in no time. A+++ to Superior for their quick response, their professional dispatcher, and their skilled tow truck operator. No sleazy tactics trying to take advantage of the situation and no creepy tow truck operator. Now I see why my neighbor recommended them to me. I would recommend them in a heartbeat. read more

My car broke down in Lambertville right after the devastation of Ida. Knowing that people were suffering all over with disabled cars, it was tough to get my car towed to a repair shop. Big Dave tried to reach my car on a super tight street and was unable to due to large trucks parked in the way. He called me and told me that he was unable to reach the car but would try again later in the day. I called him later in the day and asked if he could make it happen. He did. Way past his working hours, he came all the way back to Lambertville to help me. We got the car where it needed to be and I am in his debt. Big Dave went above and beyond. He's the man. read more

Big Dave is absolutely the best. My car was dead in my driveway and he came to tow it. He diagnosed the problem (bad cell in my replacement battery), got it started, and wouldn't leave until I was safely squared away. No tow needed, but he will be my first call when I do. read more

Sun night 10/28, Superior Towing came to assist a neighbor. The hazard lights on top of the truck started to annoy me. ( They are strobe lights. Strobe lights can trigger seizures and migraines. I get migraines & another neighbor is epileptic.) I went out & asked the driver to turn off the strobe lights & explained about seizures & migraines. He ignored me. I told him again what the problem was & that he needed to turn the lights off. He told me he couldn't, so I called the police. Now I have no problem that the hazard lights are needed on a highway or a dark country road, but this is a residential neighbor hood & lighting was just fine. There is no reason 4-way flashers wouldn't be enough. I will be calling AAA & the Chief of police in Raritan. I am very unhappy with this incident. read more

Superior Towing experience was fantastic. Had my car towed this past Friday and I have nothing negative to say. The man who showed up, introduced himself to me as Big Dave, was the best. He was so friendly and was very funny and very genuine. I drive a 1989 so I've had my car numerous times,unfortunately lol. Definitely the most friendly and very polite. One of their drivers is very inconsiderate. I run a repair shop & had to deal with this same driver twice. First instance he wouldn't take advice & did more damage to a clients car putting it on the truck. Second time I dealt with this driver he wanted to just dump the car at the end of the driveway. When I told him it needs to be up by the shop, I was told "you have other cars you can move it with." read more

Incredible experience. Mike was my driver, he was a life savior. Car was in a ditch back end first due to forgetting to engage e-brake. Mike was so professional and cordial. Towing was done very quickly and he arrived before estimated arrival time. 5/5 no doubt. Great Service read more
