The sign out front said "VACANCY", so I quite literally thought it was a sign from above. Well I called on Monday afternoon and didn't get anyone, so I left a message. They called me back the following day and the owner/operator Wayne told me a spot would be 55.00 per month. I told him that was a bit high, and went about my day. Well after getting busy for the week and neglecting my duties of looking for a spot I called him back and offered 50.00 per month and I'd pay him in cash for the next 3 months. He declined and told me his price was set. I called the next day and told him I'd take a spot for a month. He told me he wouldn't be at the business that day and to come by tomorrow after lunch. I found it strange that he didn't keep actual business hours but still answered the phone during the work day. Needless to say, I called him at 2pm the following day and he lit into me about not showing up earlier in the day. We'd never set a time and he wasn't specific about when to come by so I apologized but he told me to do business with someone else and he didn't want to do business with me. Basically, these guys are a mom and pop storage place run by a jackleg, cranky, old, quazi senile man who doesn't like to stay at his office nor does he like to provide any level of customer service. Best of luck to them because I found storage from another place for half their price a mile down the road and the owners are super nice. Stay away from this place.

He and I chatted about what I needed (a space for an RV). He quoted a price and actually lowered it when he realized we desired a longer term (not just a month or two). He wasn't sure of what spaces were available so he told me to email him as a reminder. The next day I had my answer and they even measured the spot to make sure our RV would fit. Overall I am pleased so far!

My review is for the Uhaul Dealership here…read more I rented a smaller uhaul truck from this location and did the after hours pickup/dropoff. It was the first time I had ever scheduled after hours so was worried how the process would go. In my request, I put in for furniture protection cloths. When I arrived, the process was easier than I thought. I dloaded the Uhaul app, and they had 5 lock boxes near the front door. Through the app, it gave me a code for the key and also a photo of where my uhaul was. Everything was all there! The drop-off process took a little longer (had to take like 8 photos) but the convenience and ease of getting/returning Uhaul was much simpler than I expected. The only complaint I have is that the small uhauls don't have a ramp and I "think" the Uhaul we had contained bed bugs. Please thoroughly clean vehicles after each use.

Cleaned it up nicely, refueled and brought it back 2.5 hours into a 24 hour rental so they could rent it again. Then they wanted to charge me $11.50 for the...wait for it ..1/16th of a tank they said that it had on rental. It's an older vehicle with a very simple 1980s style fuel gage. I got the keys back, put in a gallon and drove back pretty ticked. Do NOT just drop off your rental, make them check it and give you the paperwork right then. I have no idea how much they would have charged for each speck of dust in the cab if I didn't sweep.

When I say I made NUMEROUS calls to a variety of local storage locations, I truly mean it. My friend recommended tthat they had seen the new Boardwalk storage facility recently open and suggested I give them a try. I truly loved the way The Boardwalk Storage facility operates because you have one person, and only one person, that you work with at each location. As for me, I was very blessed to be able to work with Iesha Who has been in the storage industry for over 10 years. As I was making my initial rental over the Thanksgiving holiday, I have to give big-time kudos to Iesha Who was able to guide me even though her presence was not physically there. Of course, my moving truck arrived the day after Thanksgiving, but everything went off without a hitch and I have to give all the credit to Iesha. Great experience.
