Since I am not from the area, I had to remember the exit numbers etc? I mean that's a way to do it, but why providing such an unclear website? I don't have a transponder, but they say they scan your license plate. My license plate on the violation matches the one registered with Fastrak. When I called them, they told me to call Fastrak and have them remove and re-add my vehicle, which Fastrak did for me. They said it should take 24-48 hours. A week+ later, still nothing. I called them again, and they said the system looks up the scanned license plate and it couldn't find it. That's nonsense, I go to the bay area a couple of times a year and it has never failed once, and clearly I have a Fastrak account. The violation notice said they'd wave the $50 extortion fee...er, I mean violation fee. But even when I called back, they said if it does process through Fastrak, the violation would still count.
