She was supposed to be receiving care, support, and rehabilitation. Instead, she declined rapidly while under their care. She developed severe, infected bedsores that required surgery and still did not heal properly. Communication was poor and the level of attention she received was nowhere near what her condition required. Her condition continued to deteriorate until she was transferred to hospice. She leaves behind two young daughters, and I truly believe she was failed at the exact moment she needed proper care the most. This facility should be held accountable. I would strongly warn others to think twice before placing someone vulnerable here.

They went above and beyond to address the whole person during his time there. Even in the face of some extremely difficult moments, they maintained their professional demeanor and treated him with kindness and dignity. We were very lucky that she was able to be one of the first ten residents when it opened so she was able to get a lot of attention and get to know the staff very well. Unlike many of the places she has stayed a lot of the original staff are still there so she still has familiar and friendly people she knows and trusts to tend to her needs. The facility is very nicely decorated with several public areas -some of which are cozy and others that have a more luxurious feel, as well as a lovely open courtyard with a covered space in the center so the residents can get some fresh air and check out the flowers. The facility is always clean, well maintained, and - mostly importantly - well staffed. The staffing ratio and response times as well as regular check ins for the patients is excellent - far better than any other place she has stayed. The staff is always willing to help address any additional needs and special requests. We have regular meetings with her care team to discuss any changes or issues for her continuing care. There is also a wonderful activities director who plans daily activities that include crafts, light gardening, trivia, games, and bingo as well as parties and events for all the major holidays. The only problem is that the rooms are on the smaller side, but otherwise this is a fantastic nursing home - literally the best one my mother has ever lived in.

We went to the ER one time with my daughter and they got us right in. They brought her fidgets to play with and let her pick out snacks which made her much more comfortable and not worked up. For her regular appt they gave her a coin at the end and she could put it in a prize machine. She loved that! I am happy with her pediatrician and highly recommend this hospital for your children!
