Very competent and courteous. Showed up on time and cleaned up afterwards. Explained what and how they were doing it.

can't say enough good things about my experience with JustDryBasement. From the very first phone…read morecall, everything was top-notch. I had contacted several companies before, and honestly, most made me feel like I was bothering them. But when I called JustDryBasement, Susan answered--and she was incredibly professional, kind, and helpful. That first impression already set them apart. She connected me with the owner, Elliot, who has been amazing from start to finish. We worked together on three separate projects, and in every one, his quality of work and professionalism truly stood out. First project: Elliot installed a French drain in my basement and noticed damage to the walls, so he recommended and installed a special polyester wall barrier. He walked me through the entire process with patience and clarity. I waited a full year before writing this review, just to make sure everything held up--and I can confidently say, even through heavy rains here in Medford, NJ, my basement has remained dry. His work speaks for itself: solid, clean, and reliable. Second project: I still had high humidity in the basement, so Elliot suggested and installed a whole-house dehumidifier (AprilAire E100). He connected it directly to the French drain system, so I no longer have to worry about emptying water or dealing with moisture. It runs efficiently and quietly--even when I'm traveling, I have peace of mind. Third issue: Recently, I had water flooding in the finished part of my basement. I thought it was the water heater, but Elliot offered to stop by just to help figure it out. And he did--within two days, exactly as he promised. He quickly diagnosed the issue: it was actually the AC pump, not the water heater. Thanks to his advice, I was able to get the original installer (under warranty) to fix the problem. Elliot didn't have to help with that, but he did anyway--because that's the kind of person he is. Beyond his technical skills, Elliot is honest, communicative, punctual, and just a genuinely good person. He always followed through on his word, showed up on time, and took the time to explain everything clearly. Even when I had concerns, he didn't brush them off--instead of just talking over the phone, he came in person to give me peace of mind. I also want to give a shoutout to his partner Phillip, who was also fantastic to work with, and again, to Susan, for being so welcoming and helpful from the start. After working with this company three times, I can honestly say: I highly recommend JustDryBasement to anyone looking for quality, professionalism, and peace of mind. Their prices are more than fair for the level of service they deliver. It's rare to find people in this field who truly care--and I'm so glad I found them. Thank you, Elliot and team!

On the follow-up to our first project with Mike and his team at Select Basement Waterproofing, we proceeded with the plan of waterproofing the basement and keeping moisture contained at a reasonable level. Mike and team installed the following in our 160+ square foot basement: -French drain -waterproofing / Insulation on walls -new sump crock (with new battery backup sump pump) -Glass block windows -Radon pump -cementing / closing up the floor I was thrilled with the results of the hard effort given by the team. Everything was completed thoroughly, professionally, and cleanly. No questions were left on my mind (kudos to Mark for that level of detail and for managing my questions). Mike and team were professional, funny, friendly - just good people all around. I even took them to lunch a few times during the project! Mike gives an honest assessment and I never got a feeling I was being oversold. He and his team bring hard work and years of experience. Highly recommended with zero hesitation.

He was so honest and he assessed that the water looked like it was a burst pipe and not ground water (I had 4 other waterproofing "experts" that just wanted to sell me their systems!). He apologized, then immediately started it again. They redid the floor in my mother's living room and had to take up a railing I built by the foyer. They cracked it, knicked it, and mangled it when they took it up to put the floor down. It was put back with gaps that were not there when I built it. Cracks in the runner, spindles marred-up, finish nails driven part-way in, then hammered over and the holes not filled. It was a nice oak railing. Now I have to fix it. DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY.

This is my review to Drew S's comments, he is speaking of my home. George from Penn Home Remodeling…read moreservice and Joe Lamb spent most of their summer and fall working on my home. They have done a tremendous job for me. Outside my retaining wall was replaced, new steps and walkway, new storm door and new sliding door was replaced along with new railings and awnings. Everyone involved was always very polite, professional, hardworking, always on time. At the end of their work day they made sure to clean up and make it possible for us maneuver around. After all the outside work was completed I was so pleased, I had them take care of the inside upgrade. That included tearing up flooring, addressing the squeaks in the hardwood and installing a new floor throughout, looks beautiful. They installed a new backsplash and countertop in my kitchen. I kept my cabinets and the guys painted them, they also repaired a broken cabinet door and you'd never know it was broken, everything looks great. It was necessary to make upgrades to my electrical box, I now feel safe that was taken care of. The guys have a few things to finish up for me, which my son Drew was not aware of before he became upset about the railing he posted about. I know I can depend on George to handle them. I am so pleased beyond ecstatic with all the work George has done in my home, we have had a great working experience. I couldn't be happier and have and will recommend Penn Remodeling Service to my family and friends.
