When I arrived at the store, I was told that one of the guys in the back had actually found a 1" piece -- which ended up saving me about $70! One of the employees even brought the plexiglass out and loaded it into my car for me. It was neatly wrapped in protective paper, and the cut was precise -- it fit perfectly for the project I was working on. I recently needed to find some kind of "weed barrier" to stop horse tails from coming under my fence from my neighbor's yard and infesting my rosebush. I finally thought maybe I can get some kind of plastic sheeting that would do the trick. So I started calling plastic places around the area and came upon Superior Plastic Fabrication. The gal on the phone was so friendly and helpful. I called a couple other local places, but the vibe I got from here was far and away the best. So I went by there and they gave me what I wanted (ABS plastic sheets cut in 8' x 16" slices) super fast. I barely waited at all. As a matter of fact, I decided to do another project and needed some more of the ABS. When I got there the 2nd time, they were out of the ABS. But, if I paid for it now, they would deliver it from some other location TO MY HOUSE by the end of the day. I would be at work when they came by, so I gave them instructions on where to leave them. Our daughter is autistic and smacked our tv and broke the screen. After getting a new tv we bought a plastic screen protector and it was too big by one inch. Paola and her team at superior plastic not only cut it to the correct specs but did it so quickly I was in and out in 5 minutes. Really nice people, good prices, good product. I came to them with an order for some acrylic panels for an enclosure I was making for a 3D printer. The plan specified sizes in metric, and they were able to convert them to inches and cut the plastic to exactly the size needed. They gave me guidance on what to choose, choices of edge finish (consider having them take off the sharp edges for just a few dollars extra), and how to drill holes in the plastic. They cut the panels as I waited, just a few minutes. Prices were in line with what I saw elsewhere. I can't imagine a better experience. read more

Called on a Friday to ask what their Saturday hours were (8am-2pm). Come Saturday morning no one was anywhere to be found at 825am. I stayed till 905am thinking maybe they opened at 9am instead. No one showed up and I even called twice while waiting in the parking lot for them to open. I submitted a request for a quote the same Saturday and haven't heard back on that request either. I went to Superior Plastics, after a horrible experience at another place, to have a custom countertop made. They were extremely helpful and friendly. Ivan worked with me to find the right material and the right thickness, then made the 10'x2' counter in one day for just over $400, including material and labor! It looks awesome and people compliment us on it every day! Since then I have been back to Superior several times for custom made displays and the service and craftsmanship is stellar every time! I AM NOT going to drive half way to LA and then find they don't have what I need. I couldn't be happier with the finished product. Our goal had been to create a special see-through box for a time capsule at my son's elementary school. I should note the box won't be buried, it will be on a shelf in the library. I had a rough idea what I needed but Paola's suggestions and guidance turned this rough idea into an impressive reality. I called several places for a cost estimation to have a piece of plexi cut to shape for a window. The quote I received with Superior was way lower than anywhere else. This place is great! I needed a very small piece of plexiglass for a project I was working on for my home. Other places wanted to charge me an arm and a leg with a minimum and it was just too much money. On the recommendation of the guy at my local hardware store, I headed to Superior Plastics. When I got there, we were greeted very politely and warmly by the front desk staff and asked to wait a few minutes. No problem. When I I told them what I needed their response was yes, sure, no problem. That's what you like to hear!
