I learned the importance of what "standing seam" means - basically it means there are no exposed fasteners. With the exposed fastener type, which is the cheaper type you have a strong potential down the road for water incursion. Ron does a true standing seam metal roof where there are NO exposed fasteners. He knows all about installing metal roofs. His crew were very courteous, professional and diligent hard workers. Ron was on the job and hands on the whole time. He has a very expensive machine with the rolls of metal so he can cut the correct sizes right on the property. The fact is that my house here in Maine is just a mobile home. Was told twice they would come out and take a look at our roof. First time no showed and contacted…read morethem. Was told they got busy with in progress projects due to rain storm previous day. I told them no problem and was told they would be in the area that day and would swing by to take a look and report back with pictures and an estimate. That was a Wednesday, the next day I once again asked if they made it out and received no communication back. On the following Monday (still with no communication received) I got the hint that not only were they not coming out to look at our roof, but they had ghosted me and were no longer communicating with me. Not sure what the problem is, if they are too busy this time of year to give estimates, fine just let me know (as other roofers have done in the past) but to tell me they would come out no problem, then twice not only not come out but not tell me until I finally ask a few days later...and eventually just disregard all communication altogether. Luckily we don't have to worry about what kind of a job they would do as they decided for us to not do business with them now or in the future and after this level of unprofessional-ism I wouldn't recommend to anyone to do business with them.

Make sure you ask to see larger samples if you go with this company!
