He would have seen this had he have went up in the attic. They also stated my main shut off valve was in a location that was actually the hot water only valve. I gave them an extra star since the inspector did come back out and assisted to find the home shut off valve (which we never did and I hired a plumber to install - but this was all on my since it was after the sale) They did send someone out to fix the springs in the window after I noticed it. Unfortunately, my husband has to replace the dryer hose in attic. Also, save your money on the termite inspection. They listed any wood issues as "wood destroying organisms" and listed "wood rot" in this report and checked off the YES box. I did not need them to tell me the bottom of the wood trim on the garage door had rot, that should have been in the regular report. Save the money and the headache and hire a different company if you want the inspection to be done correct and list what you really need and do what they say they will do.

I am writing this review now, half a year later, because the land/home package came with a one year warranty. I wanted to be able to speak to this in my review as well. First and foremost, Walter is the balls. This man was hired to serve as Ken's project manager to help handle any issues that a customer may have. He ALWAYS answers and jumps to handle your problem quickly and aggressively. Idk why other reviewers had so many problems, I can only assume Walter hadn't been hired yet. Walter kept my project on the rails. The building of the house took a very long time. I can't blame Premier for this, as my eight acres are swampy and we had monsoon rains right after we broke ground. The rain refused to cooperate which resulted in delay after delay. Can't blame Premier for this however. On the rare occasions the rain would cooperate, work went quick and efficiently. Ken was willing to have his guys throw in minor changes that I thought up on the fly (and I did this a lot), such as extending a wall a few inches to get a giant garden tub. I was also having a hard time finding a mantel for my fireplace, Ken showed up one day with a giant slab of rough cut pine that matches my trim perfectly. I didn't even ask for it. That's a sign of care! All in all, I can't complain with the build part. As to the aftercare; this is what got the review bumped from four stars to five. There hasn't been too much to go wrong to be honest. Mainly minor things. One example is that I insisted on having a custom, hand made (and therefore imperfect) copper farm sink in my kitchen. This thing was a pain to get sealed and leaked quite a bit. Walter showed up on a Sunday to have a look. I told him he could wait until Monday, but he insisted on addressing the problem. All of my problems have been similarly minor, and handled as aggressively. I feel as though there's really no concerns that won't be addressed of they arise. All in all, I'm quite pleased with what my money has gotten me. And I can't emphasize this enough- my money got me a LOT of house for what I paid. I feel as though my dollars went far in this exchange. I intend in the near future to build a detached garage on this property, and Premier will be tasked with that construction. I am also considering building a second home in the near future for a family member. If that project kicks off, Premier will be building me a second home as well!
