It's a very convenient grocery store to go shopping at. It's always crowded. The parking is bad. It's hard to find a parking because you have street consumers. There usually selling their food so the parking lot is always full. There's no customer service the workers doesn't even say hello. No one says hello. The quality of the food is good. The store stays clean. The price is always reasonable. You could always find a good deal, especially if you download the app. read more

BEWARE!!! OF SCAMS!! If you come here please be aware of your surroundings. They're are people who follow you around the store, watch what register you get in, after the cashier rings you up & your ready to pay. They swoop in and Swipe their EBT card and pay for your groceries. They follow you to the parking lot and demand that you pay the total in cash to them for paying with their EBT card , when no one Fucken asked them too. A complete stranger just straight scamming the system. The employees (cashier & security) are in on it. They don't even bat an eye watching these people scam their customers. read more

So I guess if someone helps you cus you are carrying a lot of stuff and it's 15 or less then you can't go there. I don't understand what's the problem cus I don't see a sign that says help can't be done by a person. I don't see a sign that says two people on the same cart can't pay. I see 15 or less! Deja the cashier and whoever the Hispanic worker were rude AF!! You guys are hilarious I swear I now remember why I don't like going there read more

Avoid at all costs, the people shopping here have 0 respect for personal space and don't watch their children that will touch your items and jump up and down on your feet. Entire building is surrounded by drunks. Everyone in the store is so oblivious that people will get in the 15 item only express lane and have over 80 items, to top jt off I saw a review on here of a customer getting mad because they were told they have too many items to be in the express line. Genius! Not only do the shoppers have bad manners but the cashiers have 0 home training, they always have an attitude, they let their friends get in express lanes with wayyy more than 15 items. Lines are always snaking back into aisles because they never have enough people working and the cashiers always have to call for help to ring up the simplest things, or people will get in line with $200 worth of items and only have $20 in their pocket... act shocked when their card declines, now the whole line is shut down and another line is shut down because two cashiers have to recycle all the items back onto the shelves. Avoid at all costs! Side note: meat section smells like actual death but they have great cuts of meat for the area. Bakery makes 10/10 cakes especially for children's parties. If you in the hood and need a good steak, good meat for tacos or a cake. %1000 worth the issues. If not don't go read more

Superior Grocers - Purchased On: 12/03/17 Sell By Date: 10/05/17 Bad: Mold/Green - Grocery Near Me - Los Angeles, California

Amazing store with some great employees. Surprising actually, considering the area and the customer base in the area. First thing upon walking inside, I see tortillas being made. Shows how much I've seen in my life - that was the first time. It was awesome to see and know that the tortillas I purchased were still warm and fresh. (Snacked on a few in the car and yum!) The store was very clean and organized. Everything was in stock, laser-lined, and neatly presented. For our Spanish speaking friends, the signs above were multi-lingual and sorted well. I'm a big fan of the queso fresco - and they have some of the best behind the deli counter. Everything was smooth and easy. I'm pleased with this location, although it's far from my home. read more

I've came here several times but just recently on 8/25/2017 I witnessed the worst customer service I've experienced. It was in cashier line 11 where the cashier (Angel) was so busy with her co worker (Nayiesha I believe was her name) from line 10 on FaceTime with someone. All customers were looking at each other like "what the hell is wrong with them! so unprofessional!" That's why you do that on your break or atleast away from the customers. Not only do they have long lines and not enough cashiers, but when you get to them this is what you normally get. I'll just drive the extra mile and go to a different grocery store. read more

Came in today and the cashier by name of Jennie....took literally 20 mins to ring me which wasn't even busy.

The bakery SUCK, I drove 13 miles for chicken and its 10am she told me to come back in an hour. Why was she just now cooking orders she shoulda got to work early. If it had been a Hispanic the food would be ready. I'm sorry some blacks are LAZY read more

Don't ever ever go to this Superior it lacks everything it stinks at times their lines are long ass hell and the last time I went the cashier got attitude !! Save your trip don't ever go to that GHETTO ass Superior! Please listen to me read more

It's nice and clean but comes the problems: some cashiers have attitudes. Superior is ridiculously expensive on some products. The only reason I come here is because it's the closes market we have. The pastry area has some really good sweet bread and cake, other then the prices it's okay. I suggest shop some where else though. read more

I am very disappointed. I witnessed poor management in this location. A customer was calling the store manager and the manager turned around, looked at her and then continued walking. The cashier was just laughing about the situation. I will never come to this location again. read more

This store is the worst. I went today to pick up a couple of stuff. I was checked out by CHRISTINA! Let me tell you the worst customer service ever. I said good afternoon and she didn't reply. She was more worried about a broken nail she had. When she finished my transaction she didn't even ask if I needed a bag. I had to tell her. She gaved me an attitude. Then I said thank you and she was just talking to this other girl that I guess was just starting her shift. They were having a full conversation right there. CHRISTINA was just talking about how her damn nail broke and that she was going to put crazy glue on it. Like really why even have this conversation here. If you have an attitude just don't go to work. If you don't like your job just quit. I swear this was the worst experience here. I will not go to this location again. I'm going to call there corporate office as well. You do not ya e professional people working here. They are more worried about their "fake nails". Right CHRISTINA?!?!?! read more
