The business owner's reply below is full of misinformation and his exceptionally mean spirited attitude speaks for itself. It is hard to understand why a business owner would be so nasty to and about a customer just trying to get something corrected.
There was no exploded coke can in my car!! I don't drink coke and don't have kids. I did not keep the technician waiting. There was no dog hair in the car. I reported issues right away and very politely. I paid 180 dollars + tip for a detail and was left with waxy deposits all over my car interior. Both the technician and the contractor agreed the deposits should not have been left and said they would remove them. See the screenshots of messaging below.
Before the detail, the car interior was in good condition with scattered pine needles, leaves, and dust on the carpet. I had recently wiped the surfaces down. See the photos for how the interior looked right after the detail.
There was some pine sap on the exterior. Before he left, the technician offered to come back and remove it for an additional charge and I texted him to arrange this. I hadn't looked at the interior when I paid for the detail and tipped the technician, but when we were setting up the date for the sap removal over text, I let him know about the splotches on the interior. He said this sometimes happens with the unscented product they use and said he would take care of it when he did the pine sap. See the text chain below. He never ultimately came to remove the pine sap. He changed the day for the appointment and then did not come on the day he arranged to come. I waited around all day for him.
I had originally arranged this detail with someone named Martin Ramos who had been posted about on our neighborhood Facebook group. When David the technician did not return to remove the pine sap, I contacted Martin. I sent him photographs. Martin apologized and said that he would send a technician to fix the interior. (See message below). He never did send anyone. He then stopped replying to my messages.
Finally, I called the company. The technician had arrived in a car marked "Superior Glow" and the technician identified himself as being from "Superior Glow" (see screenshots). The person I spoke to, who was at the same number as the technician who had come, told me they weren't responsible since this had been arranged through a contractor, but said he would contact Martin and get back to me. No one ever called me back.
Yesterday I made a last attempt to contact Superior Glow and they told me I needed to deal with Martin. When I told them Martin wasn't answering me, they hung up on me.
As I said in my original review, there are many car detailing services in the Boston area. Based on my experience, I would recommend avoiding this one. read more
