The communication and scheduling was lacking, so we were a little frustrated, but it didn't prepare us for the ordeal we were going to be dealing with. We live in an old house, 1920's. My husband expressed this many times, that appropriate measures would have to be taken as we had lead in our old windows and trim. I heard him over the phone as well as in person and he was assured they would take the steps necessary. The day the windows were to be replaced, my kids and I left the house. Two windows were in our daughters room, the other in our guest bedroom. One window was oriented the wrong way and still installed. The worst part was, after removing the old windows, the workers took leaf blowers out to blow debris out into the yard below and all over the rooms. My husband ran upstairs and yelled at them to stop, that once again, there was lead paint involved. They stopped and cleaned up, but not well enough. My husband wiped everything down afterwards, not trusting it was cleaned properly. A few months later, my daughter received test results showing elevated levels of lead in her blood. It was quick and not a single other person in our family had any detectable levels. I was livid. I'm still livid. I don't care that one of our windows is wrong or that it took forever to arrange communication. I'm livid that lead safe practices weren't followed as promised and my child had to pay for it. You can't put a price on that. Thankfully, she's grown, and the situation is under control now, but if you have an old house, I would absolutely not recommend this company. To the owner, if your business gives homeowners your word that things will be done safely and following safe standards, you need to follow through. Safety should be top priority. This could have had a very poor outcome.

They gave me several options that were available in that opening size, next I selected the one with a wood casement interior. The replacement was done with perfection. She waited and waited, no updates on installation. She called several times for updates. First explanation was tech who measured failed to turn order in. Then in June they came out to install and found measurements were off so they had to remeasure and reorder. Again she has called several times for updates and receptionist keeps putting her off and says they haven't heard anything from manufacturer. My Mother in law asks to talk to her supervisor for explanation or ask for refund and those guys are always in a meeting. No call backs. It is now September, last time she was told it would be around Labor Day. She called today and was told they still do not have a date. She requested a refund and receptionist was rude to her and told her she needs to talk to supervisor. You would think someone would call her back. Something is very fishy. Maybe need to get a lawyer to get her money back.
