    Godzilla zipline
    Mae F.

When I was planning my visit to the West Coast, I knew that I wanted to try ziplining as I had never done it before. A friend of mine suggested this company as there was a great deal and it was also recommended to him. Booking with them on the phone was easy and staff were also professional upon our check in at the office. The staff members that drove us up in the jeep and the ones that actually went with us to each zipline were great as well! I was really nervous but they helped me to feel comfortable and safe, especially since you're in what I would describe as something like a seat with straps or some have said it's like being in a big diaper lol. Staff members were thorough when going over the safety rules and had great energy throughout. There were four ziplines, each great in their own way. The first was the longest one and it was a beautiful sight to be soaring between mountains and over valleys and lakes. That was probably my favourite one. The second zipline was the highest one of the four if I remember right - also beautiful but more of forests of trees for the view. The next one was the Godzilla one which was fast - a great rush! The last was the closest one to the ground where you were ziplining between rows of trees, which was also fun. Again, great for first timers and all ages! More experienced zipliners will probably want to try a more challenging one where you would have to swing yourself across to get a good amount of speed but this one was also fun in that you could just sit back and enjoy the beautiful views! I was really happy with my experience with this company and highly recommend giving them a try!

Superfly picked us up at the Four Seasons in the upper village in Whistler in a small bus. Around 10 minutes later we reached the base camp at Cougar Mountain just outside Whistler. Dropped off our bags at a free locked locker and used the washrooms as this would be our last chance for a few hours. Boarded some cool six person ATV's that was almost worth the zipline price alone, fun and bumpy ride! Fitted with the safety equipment and had a orientation for the Superfly Zipline which has four separate lines. Had two kids and two seniors with us and we had a fabulous time! Guides were great and very patient with us and got some great photos and vids. A pro photographer takes some pics on lines 1 and 2 which you can view at the base when you are done and order. We ordered them as well as taking our own. Tip: Bring some mosquito spray

Soaring above the tree tops! (June 2018)

Truly amazing - flying through the sky over the treetops! Kind of had a fear of heights, not anymore! Planned our whole June 2018 mini-Whistler family vacation around visiting Superfly Ziplines. Whole family joined in, and loved it! The zip lines were awesome! The first one, 1.2km and 600ft high, astounded me. Was so fun, and you could see for miles! I was a little scared at first, but once you take that initial flight nothing matters! The second zip line was even longer, and you seemed to soar forever. The third zip line, aka "Godzilla", could not be beat for sheer adrenaline rush. It was the steepest and fastest. Then you end your day with the last line, dubbed the "romantic" one - yep, you get to hold hands on this one! So much fun! Our guides, Gracie, Neil and Josh, were the best! They were professional and very safety-minded, full of funny stories and always ready to lend a hand or word of encouragement if needed. The whole staff, at TAG in Whistler and at basecamp in the mountains, were super-friendly and helpful. We cannot wait to return and take flight again! Thanks for such a memorable experience.

The longest and fastes zip line in whistler! Wow we were all so impressed! The views are amazing!!!!! Do this zip line tour!

View from top of the mountain just before your first zip line

Sooo much fun!!!! You have to do this. So worth it. It's so much more than I expected. Firstly you get to the mountain and get to hop on these awesome snow ATVs (no idea what they are exactly called but you can see the picture attached.) Then you come into some incredible views at the top. Simba one of the drivers was so lovely and took so many photos for us. Then it was ziplining time. When I say WOW, I mean WOW! The views were incredible, the lines were so long and fun and you flew over valleys with the snowcapped trees and mountains. It was INCREDIBLE. I'm an adventurous person and I was blown away with how fun this was. The last zipline was so sweet as you could hold hands with your partner. I've only ever gone to whistler to ski and so glad we decided to mix it up with an afternoon of ziplining. I wanna do it all over again, will definitely be back and bringing friends! Staff were absolute legends both in the office and the guides that took us ziplining. Big shout and thanks especially to Britt in the office who was so lovely and went above and beyond to help us as well as Bobby and Emily who were our zipping guides. So patient, funny and always looked after us and made sure we had the best time. We had a few kids in the group and they were amazing with them. Final shout out for Dennis the driver who drove us from whistler village to the mountain. Loved the jokes!!! By far my favourite activity in whistler!! Thanks so much guys it was amazing!!!

I convinced my husband to do something crazy for our wedding anniversary, well so I decided to do Superfly. At the beginning he said oh no too much money and I just said well you are afraid... and I was right. We was scared but at the end full of Adrenalin. This was just awesome because you have 4 different Ziplines with the different "kick" Much better than just one long on. We can recommend everyone to do it. I even got my phone with me just holding on my hands. Awesome!!!!

How do you know you are alive? 1 way to test whether you're alive or not is fear! I know I'm alive when I'm afraid! My gf got me to try this Ziplining thing. I was a bit hesitant but I decided to try it. After doing some research I found that Superfly Zipline has the 'best' and longest ziplines in the Whistler area. I have to admit when we got up there and I was looking down at the first Zipline I was a bit scared! It looked a bit daunting! Long and high I don't think my pictures do it justice. When you're up there it's a lot scarier than my pictures can reflect! Ok. After the first line the rest are all a bit too easy! The fear factor is gone! You're harnessed in there as tight as a hot dog in a hot dog bun. You feel pretty safe and to some extent the thrill is gone! Superfly has 4 lines. The most exciting was the first line. Service was excellent! The guys helping us was great and helpful. If you haven't gone Ziplining it's worth a try, but after you've gone once you'll probably want to try something new next time!

    First line.

Had a fantastic time, the guides are a lot of fun! And the experience is completely unique. Do it, you won't regret it.

I've been skydiving in California, snorkeling with barracudas in Cancun and many other awesome activities across the globe. This was by far my favorite vacation adventure. We did the tour on Thanksgiving day and it couldn't have been more beautiful. The tree tops had a major dusting of snow and after the first zip line the skies cleared up and you could see for miles. Our guides were also super awesome and a pleasure to hang out with four 3-4 hours. I would absolutely come back to Whistler to just do this without hesitation. It's definitely freezing cold, but they provide even the most ill equipped with whatever gear you'll need. Thanks again guys. Experience of a lifetime. Can't wait to try it in summer!

First platform. That's a big drop!

Just a heads up to those of you thinking to get the edge or season passes. They've made the refund…read moresystem as much difficult as they possible could. I purchased the 5 days edge pass in May without realizing that my mom will need a knee replacement surgery this coming winter. As soon as I know the surgery is happening in this coming winter, I put in a request online to refund my money at the beginning of July. They not only asking you to fill out a mile long form with all those emails going back and forth, you are also requested to get all the signed documents from the doctors for approvals. It's been 2 months and I am still waiting for the refund. I've been going to Whistler for more than 30 yrs, this year is the worst experience ever.

Needed this dayscape - via the magnificent Sea-to-Sky Highway to the majestic mountain enclave - Whistler - in beautiful British Columbia! Folks be prepared - you will be tempted to stop several times on the drive up. Spectacular views during the daylight hours will leave you breathless!!! This review is done under - Whistler - but encompasses the drive up, the beautiful scenery, the mountains & forest that are all part of an amazing nature built province ('State' - for all those in Merica) of BC. And no, BC does not belong to Britain but to Canada. Don't laugh I've been asked this question before! I won't get into the whole Commonwealth technicality but yes if one is leaning towards that angle I guess you could say - the Queen does own the whole of Canada as we pay mega bucks as in millions each year to the UK - to be part of the British Empire! Oh how lucky we are!? So Harry & Megan got tired of this British royalty life & escaped to a quieter environment in ... Hollywood!?? Ok then!!! The big draw to Whistler is in the winter - skiing & snowboarding. The Blackcomb & Whistler mountains are world wide renowned & super popular! Hiking & mountain biking takeover in the summer. Whistler is mighty expensive so bring all 5 of your credit cards! There are a few good restaurants as well but please make reservations ahead of time or you'll be left hopping around to find whatever's available. Of note & in no particular order but worth trying, Oso Bar (Spanish) - make reservations this spot is fire (thank you manager for the complimentary dessert), Lucia Gelato (try the Ginger flavour), Fat Tony's Pizza (open till 3am so could be a real life saver), El Funiture Warehouse aka All Food @ $5.95 Everyday - that's like $3 bucks US right!?! Everyone eats here, superstars, the rich, the average Joe - there's no class rules when your starving & don't want to blow a lot of money - you will save money eating here!!! Avalanche Pizza, Splitz Grill (can be pricey but it's the burger you design so blame yourself for the hunger causing your mind to go crazy with so many toppings) & finally tacos at La Cantina. There's a few more spots including fine dining but that will be for an update after covid-19 ends. I'm real hesitant to go inside & prefer to stick to patio dining for now, as much as I can. The Whistler Village area is real easy to walk around in & you'll only need to drive if you have to go further up the mountain. I have been coming to Whistler since the early 90s & have stayed in many hotels & condo rentals. Definitely shop around & prebook your stay before coming up here. However, today's trip was just a day trip escape from the big city & was thoroughly enjoyed. The drive from Vancouver takes 90 minutes or less depending on how fast you drive - longer if you stop along the way & or make a pit stop in Squamish, a beautiful town & worth the stop - see my Squamish review. Whoa got the shock of my life while walking about! Five years ago on a cruise in the Caribbean, our group met the super charismatic, charming, & so awesome Cruise Director (entertainment) Matt! Check him out on Instagram @ mattcruisedirector. Merica many of you might be very familer with him from the Carnival Cruise Line!!! Couldn't believe he's now living here - currently on the Sunshine Coast of BC but will be relocating to Vancouver. It was a pleasure to run into him & his wife! I had vivid fond cruise flashback memories while chatting with him. That awesome cruise back in 2015 on Carnival Breeze was phenomenal!!!!! It was a total awesome riot! I discovered my island paradise - Curaçao! Side note - Vancouver & Whistler hosted the 2010 Winter Olympics! I can tell you from first hand experience with actually being involved in the Olympics as a volunteer - it was so spectacular an event!!!!! Vancouverites today still speak highly of it! Super natural Whistler is highly recommended if you've never been - so do check it out! Come experience Whistler & be wowed!!! You will exhale & feel that - we got this ... life is good after all!!!!!

It was really fun, and it's quite the workout if you're not usually climbing. Friendly staff who are helpful and great and explaining things. We had booked, paid, and filled waivers ahead of time but checking in took 15 minutes, as they only had one window open. In the harnessing area, we were there on a weekday morning and we were the only ones in our own group so there was no wait. We started with the classic course. There was a staff who stayed with us for most of the first half, and he said we finished the first part fast and caught up to a slow family. So he suggested we do the next course and then come back, which we did. He left us after awhile so when we went to the extreme course, no one was there to show us what to do and it's a different lock system so I had to go find someone. The extreme course is pretty challenging in my opinion, and this was our 3rd time at WildPlay. I'm a middle-aged mom who doesn't work out and managed to do it! My arms were sore after but it was fun !! There was an overweight kid who had a hard time just climbing a ladder on the classic course - so you have to be someone fit to do it but I think for the majority of active people it's doable if you have an open mind, like challenges, zip lines and climbing. Do it! YOLO!

I accompanied my son on the kid's course. It was fun and different but I have some feedback,…read moreespecially regarding safety. - not enough staff. We waited a LONG time after getting the harness to walking toward the course for a short demo. During that time waiting, someone could have walked us to the course so the kids could practice with the hook because many kids struggled on the course. - Having smaller groups would avoid the back log of people when a kid wanted to get off the course and if people are slower. It could easily get bottle necked. About 30 of us had to back track since he was one of the first people in the group who was scared on the first run. Imagine if it was half way through. - Younger kids should have a parent with them on the course as mandatory. The kid in front of my son was having troubles with the hook and the guide was rarely to be seen. She didn't stay with the group long and we could never find another guide. The child's mother had no interest in helping from below! I ended up helping this young child a few times or we would be stuck behind him for a while. A second guide came much later, but when the kid behind us got caught on the 2nd zip line, my husband had to help the kid after him to get back to the top to loosen the rope. That was a dangerous situation. More staff needed, especially on the kid's course, if it is not expected that parents join their kids. For some parts, a parent wouldn't even be able to help if they can't reach higher from on the ground. They ask your feedback in a survey and I also emailed personally, but no response. I would go back, but try going on a weekday or early morning during less busy times.
