Absolutely awesome experience! Quick and easy to get set-up. Friendly staff. Make you feel really safe. Never felt such a rush! So SO awesome! Thank you for such an incredible experience!

Whistler Bungee, British Columbia's highest and most pristine year round bungee jumping site, located 15 min south of world renowned Whistler Village Resort, off HWY 99. Experience bungee jumping in the beautiful wilderness of the Whistler Resort Valley nestled between old growth forests and rugged basalt column cliffs Feel the exhilaration of jumping from a 160 foot ( 53 metre ) bridge spanning 300 feet over the glacial fed Cheakamus River. Whistler Bungee has an unblemished safety record and it's jump masters and operators have over 17 years experience. I had the pleasure of jumping at Whistler Bungee during the 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympics. I took advantage of a special offer for Security Officials - $70 total. If I recall correctly, it was 50% off. My bungee jump with Whistler Bungee was my first jump. Despite the heavy discount, it was an astounding and exhilarating experience. The staff at Whistler Bungee provided superlative client service. They were friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful. They play a big part in each person's jump being a memorable experience. Their enthusiasm and encouragement was definitely contagious with all the jumpers. Consider jumping with Whistler Bungee. You will be very hard pressed to find a more beautiful location, with superior customer service.

I was going over some travel photos I had taken, and I came across some videos and pictures from my Canada trip back in 2011. I can definitely say that Canada has some of the most beautiful scenery, most adventurous people, and adrenaline pumping excursions I have ever come across. Every day was an adventure. Whistler Bungee is one of those places that I remember most vividly. It is located at an incredibly gorgeous site, right above the Cheakamus River just outside of Whistler Village. I have always wanted to bungee jump, and found this place as I was searching for some killer adventures to go on as I went through Canada. I bought a camera especially for this (it could easily strap on my wrist, and get the whole footage from a first person viewpoint), and got killer footage. The staff was super accommodating and fun; they really made the experience and day memorable. Everybody there was ready for adventure and cheered others on as they jumped. Before I knew it, it was my turn, and I was hooked up to the bungee cord (the chest harness, since I had back surgery as a kid). I went to the platform and just dove off, no time to second guess. I felt the words "Sh******t!!!!" fly out of my mouth as I plummeted towards the turquoise river. The trees became a blur as I was pulled back up into the air. I could hear the rapids more clearly, roaring over my screams. Eventually the whipping around became more calm, and I hung there above the river, taking in the scenery. It was calm; I was calm. It was breathtakingly beautiful, and as I was being pulled up I took photographs of the lush landscape around me. Such a wonderful experience; a must-do for anybody visiting BC!!!

What an experience! The crew was awesome, and made me and my 8 year old feel extremely comfortable (as comfortable as you can just before jumping off a bridge). It was terrifying and satisfying all at once. A great memory for me and my family!

Absolutely must-do if you're in the area. I got the idea from the sign that's on the side of the road; we were headed to whistler with friends who were competing in the Iron Man. I was able to book a reservation - recommended, though not required. I had two friends who came to watch me take the plunge who then got squeezed in between a few other groups later - right from my phone. And when I had to make a change to the time, customer service was more than happy to help via phone. We followed the very clear directions on the way back from the mountain -- the bridge is about 20 minutes south from Whistler Village. There's not a ton of parking, and it's all on a narrow gravel road, so keep that in mind. We marched up, checked in, and waited a few minutes as person after person leapt off the bridge to the water below, bouncing right back up and down until they were finally reeled up to the platform. It was a beautiful setting - there are several hiking trails right around there, besides the beautiful river canyon. So, you could make a day out of it if you want! Now, the actual jump: during check-in they took my weight and harnessed me accordingly. The staff boast a 100% safety rating, and you could tell they'd done this a million times before. The jump went quickly. I was hooked in and escorted to a kind of plank - that's when I started feeling nervous for the first time. Lordy! It was a looooong way down. But I didn't even have time to think, as the staffer behind me counted down and I launched myself off!! Wow! What a rush! And it was completely comfortable. I was expecting to be jerked around like a rag doll. I was, I guess, in that I flew everywhere, but the harnesses are padded so that there's no actual jerking on your body. Finally, I stopped flopping and the crew up above lowered down a rope. I attached it and they hauled me in. They even had a professional photographer taking photos! I could buy them all on a thumb drive for $40 CAD. They don't usually take photo orders after the fact, but they said they could email me a zip file if I wanted to buy them later. All in all, I'd do it again. Bonus - they offer a discount on the second jump of the day.

Whistler Bungee was awesome! The staff were competent, professional and friendly, at both their office and jump site. I did two jumps with them in August of 2021. The staff at the bridge was great. They helped the jumpers feel safe and (relative to the situation) comfortable. Also, the facilities were well maintained, which really helps with the comfort levels. The still photos that are offered for sale were also surprisingly good. I took video with my own GoPro, so I wasn't really planning to buy their pics. However, when I viewed them after my jumps, I changed my mind. The photos were good, hi-res close-ups. They included pre and post jump shots, as well as a good sequence of shots of the jump itself. I didn't even know that my face could make that expression. The location and scenery was spectacular as well. Although the forest road that accesses the bridge is a bit rough, it's easily navigable by a passenger vehicle, provided you keep the speed down. Whistler Bungee wasn't the first place I've ever jumped, but it was definitely the best place I've jumped.

You absolutely have to try this! I've been twice and it is such an incredible feeling. Everything is very safe. You don't need to watch a stupid safety video. They even have a photographer for professional pictures. The staff is so nice and make you feel comfortable. I love love love this!

A once in a lifetime opportunity. Can't say enough positive things about the experience. The staff is outstanding, and know how to gently push you to jump. The views are breathtaking and the jump itself is unforgettable. I plan to do this every year on my Whistler vacation. If you're even thinking about it, take the plunge!!!!!
My first time bungee jumping & it was an amazing experience. I felt safe & the staff really made me less nervous. They have had 0 accidents & their bridge is in the most beautiful location! It was super easy to get there using Apple Maps and there is free parking right under the bridge. I purchased my photos from the professional photographer after the fact and they offered discount if both my boyfriend & I purchased our photos. My boyfriend just took a video of me on my iPhone. I would for sure go here again & will recommend it to anyone I know going to Whistler!! It was a super quick drive from the mountain. read more

An unforgettable experience! If bungee jumping is on your bucket list, Whistler Bungee is the perfect place to do it. The staff were not only friendly and full of energy, but also clearly experienced and focused on safety, which made the whole adventure even better. Huge shoutout to Jemma, Connor, and Graham--they were fantastic! They walked me through everything step by step and made sure I felt confident and excited. I jumped both forwards and backwards, and I'd do it all over again in a heartbeat! read more

First time bungee jumping and it was my best experience of 2020 so far! The staff is super friendly and welcoming and the check in process is so easy. I felt safe the entire time. They weigh you to make sure which harness to give you and then you step on the bridge and they attach you and give you the instructions and then you just have to jump! Don't hesitate, just jump. Wish they offered a video as well as pictures of your jump but if you go with a friend, they are allowed to film you. And now I'm registered in their database so my next jumps will only cost $80! read more

A friend of mine was interested in bungee jumping, so we accompanied her to the jumping site for the jump. The road to the bridge is a forest service dirt road, lots of potholes and puddles. We elected to drive straight to the site ended up with a muddy car. Although it's a dirt road, the condition is such that a 2WD sedan would be able to easily reach it. The staff were very friendly and supportive, and were very supportive of our nervous friend while on the bungee platform. The British photographer was excellent and took some splendid shots of the jump. If anybody has a gopro or any camera capable of being strapped tightly to your body, I'd definitely recommend bringing one to get some first person views of the jump. For those who need to wear glasses, it'd be recommended to either wear contacts, or string up your glasses to prevent them falling off and apply antifog coating. My friend's glasses fogged up in the jump and she was unable to see anything. Happy jumping! read more

Going in to my first jump I was terrified and convinced I would chicken out so you know its an amazing experience if I came back to do it a second time a couple months later! Between my two jumps I've had two completely different jumps and would have to say the only constant was the adrenaline rush that lasted in a huge grin I couldn't get rid of the rest of the day. And the scenery.. wow! Two jumps in two different seasons and the view was breath-taking both times. Jump 1: A group of us drove our own car to the site as we had a couple spectators joining us. There were 3 of us jumpers in total, all first timers, and although we had our own order made up before arriving they changed it up a bit for us by making the most scared person go first.. It wasn't me by the way! Smart move on their part as the first jumper admitted later that if she had to watch us she wouldn't have jumped. The staff was great as they encouraged nervous first timers to go without being pushy, which was great. The ride up was bumpy but nothing a car couldn't handle. This jump was mid-August, the weather was beautiful, the bridge was busy but the staff was awesome so they kept us entertained while others were jumping. Oh and I jumped backwards.. the rush of not being able to see where you're falling is oddly exhilarating. Jump 2: This time I took the shuttle up because it was the middle of winter and thought they would have an easier time navigating the roads. It was a completely different experience as there was snow everywhere and so it was much less crowded than the first time. And I decided to do it a little different and go face-forward and I gotta say.. backwards is wayyy better! read more

I always said, If I find a bridge to jump off of ..I will. Well, I did a little looking and saw we would be within 60 miles of Whistler Bungee AND a few hours to kill. I had to go! Easy to find plus an awesome scenic winding road to get there from Vancouver. Once we got there we found a solidly constructed bridge over a beautiful valley, with a river running through it. Knowledgeable upbeat staff, and well maintained looking equipment put my safety concerns at ease. I did "jump" off and dove out ...but after ...I wish I had jumped a little more aggressively and swan dove it off ...Definitely intimidating standing at the edge, but what a thrill. I would recommend this to anyone! read more

The first bungee jumping experience should be one to last in the memories of a lifetime, and Whistler Bungee definitely made that come true. I'm from Southern California visiting Canada over summer break with my family and this was something that was top of my to-do-list. The staff was very very friendly and made me feel comfortable with doing something way out of the ordinary. They joked around when it was time to joke around and at the same time, were very serious and specific when it gave to giving instructions and rules. Whistler Bungee has a all time safety record, so going into it, I wasn't very nervous. However, it was still nice that I was comfortable standing at the edge of the platform waiting to jump off knowing that there was a group of experienced staff who knew exactly what to do. The only downside was the price ($180/person), but in the end, it was well worth it! read more

The staffs are super friendly and very professional. They were very accommodating. I didn't plan to go bungee jump because i've done it once back home in California. it so happened that we saw the activity on our hike at the brandywine park. I got very excited and hearing from the jumpers about their amazing experience which made me decide to try bungee for the second time . I got very lucky as a walk in. Whistler Bungee also offered a wonderful view. Highly recommended. Thank you whistler bungee for making my visit to whistler a memorable one. read more

We went in mid-June, 2017. Reservations were easy. My 12 year old son and I had so much fun on the first jump, that we did 2 more each, even without further reservations. The location is awesome, as you can see by the pictures here on Yelp. The staff was incredible. They are safe, fun and helpful. I highly recommend Whistler Bungee. We will be back! read more

Well it's bungie jumping so of course it was amazing... However the guys and gals there were all very helpful and had a great sense of humour... Joked with my boyfriend to get him to go (but at no point pressured him). You do have to pay for photos, but they take them for every jump... And the photographer was amazing. Beautiful site, and a great way to end a trip to Whistler... If you've never jumped before and are thinking of it... Stop thinking and book yourself in ;) it's an amazing experience! read more

Friend went yesterday and had horrible experience. Peer pressured at the top to the point they were trying to shuffle her feet to the edge, she broke down and they refused to issue refund. They claim they will only allow a transfer within 30 days. Whistler is a tourist destination, this is a scam and the peer pressure tactics are not ok. Will be asking for government review on these policies. read more
TITLE: Johnson Excellent Bungee Adventure: How I Received a Jane Austen Novel. I did a couple of jumps a few years ago with Whistler Bungee - I enjoyed it and recommended to my buddy who wanted to tick off a few items from his bucket list. So happened, I also accompanied to film his jump. The booking office is in Whistler village, but the jump site is 3 km off the Sea to Sky. As Dave G. noted, the dirt road is quite treacherous with monstrous potholes - unless you have a worthy truck, I would recommend driving the extra distance from Vancouver into Whistler so they can shuttle you to the site. If you decide to lump in some offroading with your bungee jump, there's a small parking lot on-site once you've managed to pilot down the one lane road servicing both incoming and outgoing traffic. Once on site, it's a quick hike to the bridge and you'll be signing your life away with various waivers in no time. They also set up some viewing areas off the bridge - so it's great for spectators. They used to have the 'traditional' bungee harnesses (bound by your feet) - but looks like it's now all the center harnesses which free up your arms and legs, so you can flail your limbs like a ragdoll as you scream like a little bitch. Here's a few pointers for first time jumpers: - bring someone to video your jump - if not, they will sell you some pretty well-done still photos for about $40. Or grab a spectator you can trust with your camera - there's usually plenty of people around - think about whether you want to jump forward (i.e. forward dive) or backwards (I recommend doing a 'Jesus' fall). I've done both, and counter-intuitively, it's much scarier and exhilarating to jump backwards (the staff agrees with me) - you feel like your stomach will burst through your chest. Even though I'm pretty sure I'm the only person that heard it when I Jesus-jumped, I'm pretty sure my sphincter slammed shut with a mechanical clanging sound. And the best part, the photos as you fall backwards will clearly show your face in base abject terror. - it's about ~$120 for your first jump and you become a 'lifetime' member and a souvenir t-shirt is included- all following jumps are about ~$80 - so it's cheaper if you jump both ways. - I would strongly recommend yelling out a line before or as you jump. My buddy had a line in mind, but with the anxiety and the staff doing a hard countdown (I suppose to prevent people from freezing), he completely forgot and just went silently when they yelled, "GO!". I took my cue from Geronimo and Leroy Jenkins. If the harness failed on my jump, my famous last words would have been, "Alright chums, let's do this: JOOOOOHHNSOOOON CHAAAAAN!" That would have been a pretty boss death. I ultimately chose that line since I figured it would have been much easier to explain to my mom at my closed-casket funeral rather than "Hey girls - look at me!" Anyways - highly recommended and it's cheaper and more fun and visceral than skydiving. The staff is hilarious and very professional. My buddy noted how confidence-inspiring it was they were using duct tape to repair some non-mission-critical equipment and the staffer decided to add duct tape to his harness, "just in case". As my buddy was settling up the bill and picking up the photo CD, we had to ask why they had Jane Austen and a book on the study of the female anatomy on the office desk. They explained someone left the books here a few months ago and forgot to pick it up - and they asked if we would like to take it. So, in addition to the souvenir shirt and photos/videos of his jump - my buddy got "Jane Austen - The Complete Novels". Nothing commemorates a bungee experience better than 18th century English gentry romance novels. read more
My friend and I were determined to bungee jump. We had had a lot of friends jump, and we wanted to be part of the cool kids club. We never found time in the winter (although they are open 7 days a week year round) so we went on the last day of my visit in July. I had sprained my ankle two days before while snowboarding, but I was bound a determined to go. The jump site is about 10k away from Whistler Village. They have a contract with a local taxi service to bring people from the village at no fee to the participants (although tipping the driver is appreciated). My friend, a couple random other jumpers and I jumped into a yellow taxi and away we went. The bridge wasn't as big as I thought it was going to be. Still bigger than any bridge I had ever jumped off of, but still, relatively small. I was a tower diver for a lot of my life so heights don't really get to me. That was, until I was standing at the ledge looking down into the rushing water and realized I was about to die. "1....2....3...Jump." I stood there frozen. The guy helping me looked at me again. "You can do this. Ready? 1....2....3...JUMP." Still no go. Finally I scream "LET ME DO IT WHEN I'M READY." "1....you can do this.....2.....you used to do running jumps off of 10 meters and you were fine....3.....GO!" I jumped off, but instead of just jumping I did a double back flip. I had asked if it was OK to do that before hand and they said it was as long as I was in the chest harness. As I couldn't do the ankle harness because of the sprain, I was game. I think the back flips actually made it less scary. I'm used to jumping off heights flipping so this was just another day in the office. That was, until all of a sudden I felt the pull of the rope and was pulled out of my tuck. For the next minute I just hung there as I was slowly lifted to the platform. My friend went next and we were both high on adrenaline. So much so, we forked over more money we didn't have and did it again. If you've never bungeed before, I would definitely recommend this place. It was fun, safe and...did I mention fun? read more

Talk about an awesome experience! I had never gone bungee jumping before I went here, but I would do it over and over! It's 160 feet if I remember correctly and the view is breathtaking. I personally found that it was easier jumping above the river than it would be in an indoor or urban setting - I was in nature discovering a new thrill. I wish I could remember the name of the guy that helped me up on the bridge. He had dreads and he was so cool. He made it easier for me to jump because he was so friendly and easy-going, it felt like I had known him for longer than the 5 minutes I actually did. The girl that tried to jump before I went certainly tested this guy. He was so patient with her. I'm not kidding when I say she tried for like 25 minutes (they let some people go in between her two attempts). He didn't try to pressure or guilt her and let her go at her own pace. He always had her safety in mind, even when she didn't (she tried to leap at one point but quickly reached back to hold on to the railing, which could have gone a lot worse than it did). Honestly, if you want to try bungee jumping, the best way to do it is without any hesitation. The longer you wait up there, the harder it gets. As soon as you get to 1, don't think, just jump! I guarantee you've never felt a rush quite like it. You get a couple of seconds of free fall, which I think is perfect for a first time. A shorter height wouldn't be as worth it and a longer height would be harder to execute. They've never had an accident since they opened in 2002 and even the dog that stays there has gone (apparently he loves it haha). The photographer also takes wonderful shots! Have a friend or someone videotape your jump, but you probably won't take better photos yourself. If you're in Whistler and you love this sort of thing, I highly suggest going! It's hard to explain, but I felt so alive for the rest of the day and couldn't stop smiling after I went. read more

To say the least, Whistler Bungee needs to work on making their attraction a lot more user friendly. In order to get to the bridge you jump off of you need to make your way across 3 kilometers of unpaved dirt road wide enough for ONE vehicle when traffic flows both ways. On the day I visited I passed by and could tell my sedan wouldn't make it. I spoke with the office to pay for them to transport me to the site since I knew my sedan wasn't going to make it. The person at the office stated they only transport up once a day and they couldn't accommodate me. She said that the road was plowed anyway - our sedan would have no problems getting through. I got to the road and instantly knew I was lied to. The road was covered in compacted snow, ice and slush. It wasn't a fun experience, fearing your car was going to crash or get stuck. I also didn't like the idea that another vehicle coming in the opposite direction was going to crash into me. The 'parking lot' is no better. It seems to be designed to fit 4 cars safely, yet on the day I visited there were at least 8. Getting in and out was beyond stressful. What's making it worse is the company hasn't made any changes despite the fact they've sold 2000 admissions through Groupon. They made no effort to even regulate how many people are down there by opening more appointment slots. The bungee experience itself and the staff may be satisfactory, but that's absolutely no excuse for treating your customers so poorly. At the very least, plow that road and find a safer way for customer's to park. I definitely won't be going back, no matter how good the bungee jumping experience is. read more

The staff were all very friendly and helpful. It was a fun experience jumping "mandem" with my boyfriend. The scenery was very beautiful and there was a nice little trail that you can walk around and see the other jumpers and the fall. The photos were pricy so I suggest bringing your own phone or asking people behind you waiting to help you take pictures. Or if you're going to buy the pictures bring your own USB so you don't have to pay for theirs. The free Tshirt was a nice bonus at the end. read more

AWESOME AWESOME AWESOME. I want to go again. I was absolutely terrified so I went tandem with my husband on his birthday. The experience was outstanding. Staff was very quick and professional. I will definitely be back to jump again sometime. I was SHAKING with adrenaline for quite a while afterwards. What a great feeling! read more

Heights are my fear. I wanted to conquer it, but wasn't sure if I could. Thankfully the employees assisting me with my jump were not only professional but so understanding and informative! I ended up having a blast and have no regrets. Highly recommend! read more

First time bungee jump at Whistler Bungee, Sunday May 15, 2011. The site was easy to find (about an hour and 15 minute drive from Vancouver). You have to climb a slight hill to get to the bridge deck from the parking area. Lots of people, seemed busy. Whistler Bungee had a Groupon offer, which must have been successful for them as I I took advantage off it as well. Check in was easy; standard waiver form. You get a free t-shirt with your jump and the option to purchase professional photos from their photographer for $40 per jump. While waiting, you had the option of sitting in a sheltered area...much more fun to wait on the bridge, you can watch people jump before you. I choose to jump via chest harness, so you`re right side up for the jump and retrieval. Found the harness to be quite comfortable. Jump was scary as hell but SO MUCH FUN!!! Cannot sing the praises of this company enough. They made sure you had the correct bungee for your weight (up to 350lbs)...they ensured you were comfortable in the harness, made sure everything was strapped in correctly. Friendliest people ever and obviously loved what they do. GO JUMP WITH THESE PEOPLE!!! You will not regret it!!! I will be coming back :) read more

My boyfriend, Thomas, and I went together in June 2017, having just done Tough Mudder the day prior. We're trying to experience as much adventure as we can, and this was no exception. We were both nervous to different degrees. He's a skydiver so he's jumped out of planes hundreds of times, but this is different as it's close proximity to the ground in comparison and - of course - no parachute. I was nervous (terrified actually) because my body just doesn't know how to process not being in control. I freak out on fair rides that turn upside down, roller coasters, and on the one time I did do a tandem skydive. We parked in the parking lot which is under the bridge and saw a guy jumping right then! It's really quite a shock to see. We then made our way to the bridge, the "office" is actually on the other side of the bridge, so you actually walk right past jumpers as you're making your way to sign waivers and weigh in. (PS there's not bathroom with plumbing, just portables). We weren't sure if it would be allowed, but we brought a helmet with a camera on a gooseneck. We were advised that while swinging around the arm would likely get knocked off and end up with our camera in the river. But they suggested just holding the camera on the arm and duct-tapping it to our hand so we couldn't drop it. This is exactly what we did and it worked great. The entire staff was super friendly, chummy, and professional. I jumped first, and honestly, you basically have no time to even think about what you're doing. The process is quick. Suddenly I was lining my feet up to the edge and they were counting down. I just sort of fell forward. I don't remember the scenery of the initial fall, just my head trying to understand what was happening. Yeah it was freaky! I swore a lot. When you get to the bottom of the rope you somehow feel secure and then you bounce back up and it's pretty fun, but then you go down again and my body was like "WHAT IS THIS?" and you yo-yo 3 for 4 good times and then it's just more swinging around. By then I was calming down (40 seconds, according to the video I took) . Then they send another rope down that you clip into. The whole thing takes around a minute and a half to be standing back on the bridge. It was Thomas' turn next. He was all hooked up when suddenly our camera storage was full. It was disheartening that he wouldn't have the same kind of footage. The guys setting him up did the most amazing thing and actually said that if it was important to us, they could let us go sit down and find some space on our camera. It was just great that they actually cared about our experience to allow us to mildly inconvenience the flow of things. We made some space on the memory card, and he was right back out there! He actually lept off - impressive to me! We got our T-shirts, checked out the professional photos, purchased them on flash drive, and stuck around for a bit watching others jump. We saw a few people doing tandems, and we definitely want to give that a try. What a crazy date that would be, to jump off a bridge with your arms wrapped around each other! Basically, we would both do it again! In fact we plan to go every time we're in the Whistler area. It scary but it's just a fantastic was to face your fear and hopefully conquer it one day!! read more
