We called and messaged the shop multiple times trying to see if they were open, no response. We were worried about losing our deposit money, as they were not very friendly the first time we were there, so we drove almost an hour there at our schedule appointment time. They're closed. We did not receive a call the day after, or the day after that. No one reached out to reschedule our appointments, or to apologize about not informing us the shop would be closed. When we finally got in contact with them, they told us they might not to refund our deposits to us. It took over a week of back and forth calls to finally get our money back. Only leaving two stars because the tattoos from the first time look fine. Other than that I will not be returning due to the unprofessional service and rude attitude from our tattoo artist.

But since this was a recommendation from a trustworthy friend, I went ahead . My friend made an appt at 3:30pm 11/27 with Joey to get our piercing done , we came in and was greeted by the receptionist; she was nice and asked for the usual ID and sign some consent form. . I initially wanted the snake eyes piercing at the tip of my tongue, but Joey straight up told me that he doesn't do that here, due to lots of complications in the future with peoples teeth, gums etc. He also said even though there were customers that had told him to just pierce it because it's what THEY want; it doesn't make him feel good knowing What can/May happen... which I totally respect. I came in there not wanting to know the downside of getting that piercing but Joey had told me all that I needed to know, and the last thing I want down the line as I age is getting a chip tooth while talking or whatever (my worse nitemare!). Anyways, I ended up getting my tongue re-open/pierced since it had been closed for 5+ years , a change in my tragus earring which was super long; and my cartilage earring change . He was able to make the earrings fit PERFECTLY so it's not poking/sticking out . I love the fact that he can customized the piercing (earrings) to your liking, and will also give opinion. You can tell that he truly cares for his customer and just the way his personality is is just awesome ! All the instruments are sterilize and the room was super clean ! I will definitely be going here for all my future piercing ! Highly recommended !

Body Extremes is one of the very few places in the city that offers this type of piercing using a hoop rather than a stud and they were highly recommended to me by others who have had this procedure. We had a difficult time getting in the first time They offer an open session on Saturday afternoons from 300pm - 530pm...if there's more than 1 in your group make sure you arrive early..You will be very entertained while you wait. Of course they have both The staff is very helpful and friendly The owners brother was handling the front desk that day.He was very personable and friendly and seemed happy to share some of the business history with me it's evident that the family is very close and Mick's ( the owner ) passion for tattoos and piercings has become an amazing family business We had such a great experience with our piercer Nichole she was so friendly and down to earth . We were all chatting in a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere felt like we had known each other for ever. it made the time pass quickly and took the nerves away ...Everything was explained in detail and Nichole performed the procedure quickly and effortlessly . It was definitely not painless which was completely expected , but the pain was minimal and over almost instantly. Nichole did an amazing job she kept the three of us contained entertained and very relaxed . It was a really amazing afternoon... Even with a line of people waiting for tattoos, each artist helped take in new requests, talked to each guest about their designs, and went over the details. One woman's design was a little too small and they explained how'd they'd have to make it larger for the detail. Again, the artist and apprentice taking the time to work with each person. Andrew, the piercer, was attentive and friendly. I was able to get my nipple pierced and get an extra barbell for my other for a total of $50. Very fair pricing! The shop looked as clean as any other 5 star piercing parlor/tattoo shop I've been too. Everything in the piercing room was sterile, Andrew was careful to use gloves and change them as necessary. His attention to detail in lining up my piercings was spot on! I mean, literally, they are mirrors of each other but pierced at least a decade apart. Seriously, this is probably going to become my go to place for body mods. It's close to home and perfectly priced. Good thing I have tattoos planned!

Claire's has become a favorite shopping destination no matter which mall I'm at, but the Westgate Mall's outpost has an impressive selection of baubles, plus great customer service! I came here earlier today to return a pair of earrings my mom got me for Valentine's Day. They were so cute and shaped like to-go coffee cups, but I already bought them a few months back while visiting my boyfriend in New York. No worries, luckily my mom had the foresight to save the receipt. The girl that was working here today made the return process so easy, and I ended up exchanging the coffee cup earrings for a super adorable pair of popcorn earrings! They'll be a hit on my upcoming food and movie themed tour for work, I'm certain! While Claire's is gonna be Claire's at pretty much every location, the Westgate Mall's store is clean, well organized and well stocked, and has some of the best sales associates at any shop I've visited!
