Ok this is the best store ever! My sister, cousin and I stumbled into this store after a wedding…read moreweekend and we were so surprised how much we loved all the pieces! We all have individually different styles and tastes, but somehow the owner kept bringing us suggestions that were SPOT ON! I didn't know Natalie was the owner until later, but up until that point I was like "ok this person needs to be a professional stylist or something!" (Duh, she runs this store so she's doing exactly what she should be doing with her talent!) Natalie could pick up our cues and notice what styles we liked, and yet she would suggest certain new styles that I didn't even know I would like! My sister said she was literally going to cancel Stitch Fix and just ask Natalie what to buy! That's exactly what this experience is --- stitch fix but in person! I really appreciate that she even went to the back and gave us choices on items that weren't on the floor yet - it made us feel special! Plus she knew what was coming in style, which was nice to know because I really don't follow fashion. The pieces at this store are exactly my style: almost an Anthropologie vibe but more staple pieces and slightly preppy. Basically anyone can find something they like here! There are some simple pieces but hang really well on the body, no matter what size you are. I LOVE the fall/winter looks and I was tempted to buy sweaters and jackets even though it was 93 degrees out LOL! (Store is nicely air conditioned.) I also like the price range, which isn't insanely stupid expensive but quality pieces deserve the accurate pricing. (Ranging from 30-$120, not like $250+ like some LA boutique stores.) We liked so many pieces that we kept checking out with more and more items! I didn't even mean to stay for that long! Natalie- we still rave about you and your amazing customer service!! Thank you for a great shopping experience!

The staff is friendly but I have noticed of-late that new faces come and go really fast here . Lots of in-fashion styles and really reasonable prices . I love this place for gifts and knick-knacks as well as jewelry . They have a lottttt of variety for earrings and very well priced too. Apart from clothes Francesca also has a lot of accessories -caps , hats ,shawls ,scarves ,hair accessories ,sunglasses , shoes and bags . They have a great discount for first time buyers and then ongoing discounts for people who are already enrolled in their texts . I wouldn't say that the clothes are very high quality but its fast -fashion so you get what you pay for .

Quality isn't there, which is fine. Sometimes you want the current style to refresh your basics and you know it won't be in style next year. At Francesca's you can buy that floral blouse or sparkly jumpsuit or plaid shawl or Sherpa vest and still have money left for the leopard print booties and fringe earrings! Today I scored an oatmeal colored cowl neck sweater for just $14.95. Less than the price of a glass of wine and appetizer! Looks great with jeans and ankle boots and will definitely last the season. Francesca's also has a large selection of necklaces, pendants, earrings, belts, scarves, hats, shawls, hair accessories - everything to take your outfit to the next level. It's fashion jewelry so it's inexpensive, but many are knockoffs of expensive on trend pieces. Again, this is where I go to buy the colorful Pom-Pom earrings, fringe earrings or long tassel necklace. Fun gifts and stocking stuffers also. Notebooks, pens, faux succulents, jewelry dishes, bath soaps, lotions, wallets, clutches, lipsticks and more. The ladies that work here are super friendly and helpful.

This location saves me a trip out to Bridgeport Village where their other shop is located. Anyway, if you're unfamiliar with this slow fashion brand, Eileen Fisher uses high quality, eco-friendly materials. It is a bit pricey, but well-worth it IMO. But, not to worry, if you're on a budget, they have a trade-in program where they take back worn (in good/fair condition) items and re-sell them at a discounted price under their Eileen Fisher Renew collection. A circular fashion model where nothing goes to waste. This location is a bit bigger than the one in Bridgeport. The employees are very nice and helpful. I like the simple, timeless design of the clothing and the fabrics feel good against your skin. I always find something when I shop at Eileen Fisher. Evidently it's been here for years! It's definitely off the beaten path (NW 24th off Thurman) so you need to know it's here to find it. If it was on the main drag of NW 23rd or had better signage, I'm sure they would get a lot more foot traffic. That being said, the day my friend and I stopped by, there were several other ladies there. Once you visit the boutique, I'm sure it will be on your list of shops that you make a point to visit frequently to see what's new. Oxalis offers an eclectic mix of clothes, jewelry, shoes, hats, scarves and even some metal wall and yard art. A little bitof a lot of things! Clothing is classic, well made and on the high end. Lots of cashmere shawls, sweaters, and scarves, for example. Beautiful functional rain coats and jackets, perfect for the PNW. Jewelry from local artists is on display in the cabinet when you enter. Definitely check it out! The shop is on the first floor of an old home so you wander from each of the small rooms to discover treasures. Customer service is helpful, friendly, but not intrusive. Call your girlfriends and make an outing, grab brunch or coffee (St. Honore is around the corner) then wonder over to Oxalis for a lovely shopping experience.

In the 18 years I've lived here, I've never seen a boutique on par with a foundation. Foundation is on NW 23rd a few doors down from Blue Star Doughnuts and across the street from See Eyewear. It's located in an old white house. The boutique is bright, clean, airy with a modern edge and so is their clothing! They have curated a collection of high-quality, easy pieces that go together effortlessly and can create a new stylish outfit or blend with items you already own. Most everything is black, white, gray, taupe and other neutral shades, most all solid colors, with a few items in a pop of color. You could easily buy an entire capsule! Slacks, blouses, dresses in every length, jumpsuits (which are on point), blazers, jackets, and coats. This store is not packed with clothes, but they have several options in each category and all are exquisite. Along one wall is a gorgeous selection of unique jewelry that also has a modern edge. Check out their rings, necklaces and earrings! Love! In the back section by the dressing rooms there are shawls, the newest scarves from Chen Liu, denim and some killer boots! I fell in love with a pair of very high waisted pants with wide legs that were fitted through the hips. Love that style and I really wanted these pants. They were too tight in the mid waist section and they didn't have a larger size otherwise I would have bought them in both black and white. The sales woman gave me the name of the designer and website so I could try to find my size. Prices are varied, something in everyone's range. Even more important, whether on the high or low end of the price range, they are a real value for quality, modern, easy to wear separates. The 2 sales women working that Saturday were friendly helpful, suggesting items that actually worked for my body type. I loved the entire experience and will definitely visit anytime I'm on NW 23rd and will make it my destination when I need a special outfit.

The woman at the front desk (who appears to double as their primary model on Insta) just sat on her phone the entire time I shopped. I was greeted hello and good-bye so that's at least a plus. But, she never stood up and never asked if I needed help in the dressing room. When I walked out to get another size, not a word. For an upscale environment, I would have hoped for more interaction. I don't enjoy leaving negative reviews, but am hoping the owner/management will take note so this doesn't happen to other shoppers. I was ready to buy something and decided to take my business elsewhere. It's not that I'm looking for a lot of extra attention, just some would be nice.
