I was talking with another mom today about the experience I had here a few weeks or so back, and I felt the need to share it with everyone else who has had issues in the past with their children who hate getting haircuts. I have two. And my husband and I always dread haircut day as much as they do. We've been coming here for a couple of years now, but this is the first time we've had absolutely no trouble. We had a stylist named Allie and another one named Cajia (or Sajia?) who were really good with our boys and were able to keep them entertained long enough to give them really good haircuts! We're used to kicking and screaming and just taking whatever trim they could give under those conditions. But this time, we were actually able to get a couple of excellent haircuts out of this visit. I have lived for a long time. Never have had a cut this bad. The African American lady's that work there always treat me well and give me the exact thing I want. I ask a black guy there with glasses to take 1/4 of a inch off, he gives me a bulk cut. I have wavy hair so a bowl cut mullet looks terrible. I reccomend if your going for one of the black lady's but if you have to get in with the black dumb glasses guy, wait. Trust me. It's worth it. read more

Cut was alright but the woman that did it STANK !! Like onions it was horrible like how does the manager not say anything to her? I know some people have medical issues but jeez at least invest in decent deodorant if you don't mind bringing nose plugs or lost your sense of smell from covid then this place is alright for last minute trims. read more

It was like a slow moving train wreck. The receptionist said somebody would be with me shortly. Then a few min later she came back and surprise. She's going to cut my hair. I asked for a fairly standard men's cut - clippers on the side, take an inch off the top and blend. She started off with the clippers but rather than blending toward the top she was moving my hair in all random directions and taking the clippers higher and higher looking for some magic line to stop at. When she got to the top she put some kind of product in my hair and started cutting. She kept making my hair it mohawk shapes as she cut. So I'm pretty worried at this point as a big cowlick in the back is standing straight up and no part of the top is even. Then she moves on to the sideburns where she does one pass with the normal clippers leaving the hair half cut half way up. Finally she asks if its done. Is it DONE?!? Should she do something else? At this point I'm in such horror I just want to run out and find a barber. Is she going to fix it? No. I get home and my wife looks at me in horror before she starts laughing. Hands down the worst hair cut in 25 years. It's pretty short so not sure how I can fix this for at least a week or two. I would say that this stuff depends on the individual stylist but if you employ somebody with this level of skill you have to wonder about all of the folks there. Understaffed - making an appointment is useless as you get there and are told it is an hour wait. Never going back.

I went in Friday morning and the first indication I should have left was the fact all these haircut dummies were out on display and several employees working on it. I asked for a simple hair cut; short on the sides; long on top. 1 or 2 on the sides. The hairstylist clearly didn't hear me because she used the electric clipper right on top of my head. I stayed silent and in absolute shock as she cut a ton of hair from the top of my head. I was mortified. She left me buzzed cut. I wanted to leave and even gave her a tip. The cut was horrible I still had long strands of hair on the sides and it was uneven. I will never step foot in that establishment ever again. Please train your employees. read more

Francine there is really truly talented at color, by the first time I went to her her highlights were fine and subtle and look so natural and she was genuinely happy and excited for the outcome of my hair. The second time they came out bleach blonde and she refused to tone them and I am unhappy with how streaky and stark they look. My appointment was later in the day and left my iPhone charger there, by the time I had gotten home and realized they were close, and called the very next day to pick it up and it was nowhere to be found. This isn't really different than any Supercuts down the road. It knows how to handle lines and give people realistic estimates on how long they wait. The prices are uniform around the block. The reason I am giving this Supercuts in particular a good review because I have a hair stylist who I like and is great, Kevin. He's friendly and very sociable, but best of all, he knows how to cut my hair and introduce me to a few hair gels I wasn't familiar with. I think the ladies like what Kevin did with my hair because I got several compliments. I am sure all the other Supercuts offer the same service as this one, but because of Kevin, I will be coming to the Wynnewood branch. read more

Why do I have to travel 3000 miles for a haircut (currently living in Redwood City, CA)???? Because LISA is awesome!!!!! She is the store manager here at Wynnewood and will be managing the new store in Havertown in the Spring 2013 at the new Quarry Shopping Center. Daughter treated me to a Mothers' Day haircut and we were happy to find that this place was open on a Sunday! There was a good amount of people here but we waited less than 10 minutes. Lucky me got Kevin as my stylist - he was professional - fun to converse with - very knowledgable - and I will be going back because I felt confident that he can handle my hair. Daughter was very happy with her cut and her stylist was also pleasant. The prices are very reasonable and next time I will get color done as well. Got turned away from Supercuts because I got there 30 mins before they closed and they were "too backed up". I don't get this place, the employees mess with the system so u can't check in online properly and then turn you away. Seems like very bad management. No.... seriously ...... take your time. Take a break between doing haircuts and go text and drink coffee and talk to the other employees when you have an entire waiting room of people. This was typed in a sarcastic tone, by the way. No smiles, no "welcome", no making you feel as if anyone cares. From check in to haircut to paying one of the worst customer service experiences I have had ever. I have been going here for at least 10 years, almost all new staff. I myself have a career in customer service and had anyone along the way would have listened and cared about my experience things would have been great. We can never lose site why we are here in the service world whatever the price may be. Not too mention quality wise it was the worst haircut I have ever had, glad its just hair and will grow, although I will be wearing hars for a while. You have a great customer base in the community, without good service that will go away. After further thought I will not return to a supercuts again. Ten days later my haircut actually got worse as it grew in, uneven and just not good. Spoke with someone in customer service who mentioned a free haircut of which was never received or followed up on, not that I am interested in using it. Overall the company seems to be more interested in volune than quality and service as it used to be. read more

This is the third time I've had trouble calling ahead. I can't tell if the person lied or just didn't follow through, but said over the phone there was one person there and that I would be behind them. I arrived in less than 5 minutes with two people seated, both of whom were called separately before us. Need to figure out who the manager is because this seems to be a chronic problem - and our regular business needs to go somewhere else. I thought it was a fluke but three times is clearly a pattern. My sister (with long hair) asked for her angle to be touched up just a bit and proceeded to point out to the stylist exactly where she wanted it cut. The stylist chopped the front pieces of her hair up to her cheek and left the rest long. I do not know what kind of licensed hair dresser could do such a terrible job like this. It is truly sad how poorly she did. She did not even do an angle and blend the pieces, she just blindly chopped at the front. I do not recommend. Careless. read more

If I could put no stars I would. Stylist overcharged me and then in the middle of me asking her to explain it to me she ran away crying. I'm sorry - what?!?! Your board says $13 for a blow dry and you are charging me $33????? I think I should at least be 1) told this ahead of time and 2) be allowed to ask the person charging me without her running away in tears. It took 5 minutes for them to "explain" with 4 people (!!!) that I was being charged for having long hair ($5) and thick hair ($5) which was the first I'd heard of an up charge for that. DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE!!!!!!!!!!!!! Go 3/4 mile down the road to Haircuttery. Pay $15 and be on your merry way with no tears or drama. read more

Stay away! The stylist- Michele I think was her name (she was Thai)- cut my hair WAY too short. A whole 4 inches shorter than I asked! She didn't listen to me or confer with me at all. Everyone there seemed really tired and bored. I will not be going to a SuperCuts ever again. read more

I went there on my birthday for a new cut. Three hours and $70 later I had one that included purple highlights that washed out in a week!!! Then when I had to use the ladies room ('cos I was there 3 1/2 hours!!!) I had to wait till the stylist searched the salon, then run to buy some at the Super*Fresh! Disorganized and stylist not prepared to give a combination of two cuts...I think I became part of her portfolio. NOT worth the $70 I spent! read more

Went in to get my haircut and had a hooded sweatshirt, which I've worn several times without an issue. The haircutter, and older lady name started with a D, refused to cut my hair with it on. I then left, went around the corner and got an amazing cut at the barber shop with no issue. Won't be returning. read more

Went here recently and got Michelle M. to cut my hair. She did a great job :). She listened to what I wanted, was friendly and really seemed to care about how she was cutting my hair. I walked out with the haircut I was thinking about all along. I've been to upscale salons and just recently spent over $50 for a haircut that Michelle could cut circles around. It's so rare to find a stylist that not only listens to you but gives you a great cut for such an affordable price. I'm going to Michelle M. from now on. read more

Hair dresser did not listen to me and cut too much of both of my kids' hair. Very frustrating, I would not recommend it!

I went there for a hair color of simple black and my roots came out BLONDE the stylist was truly inexperienced. I usually go to a high end salon in Center City but thought I could save some time by staying in the Burbs big mistake. I have an extremely busy schedule that requires me to work every weekend. I've been wanting to change my hair for awhile now, and a friend recommended this specific Supercuts to me, so I scheduled an appointment for 7:15 on a Friday. When I arrived they were very nice, and when i asked for full highlights they were very accommodating. It wasn't until later that I found out that they usually stop doing color after 6:00. So already, they were making an exception for me. Maria, my stylist, took her time making sure my hair would turn out perfectly. Maria and Katie both stayed well over an hour past closing to make sure I got my hair done. They were both very accommodating, extremely nice, and Maria did a fantastic job on my hair. I absolutely would recommend them to anyone looking for a nice hair salon. They were fantastic! Thank you so much Maria and Katie, you two were great! read more
