I have been to this Supercuts three times. The first time, they insisted that they could not cut my hair unless I gave them my phone number. They refused to budge and I walked out. A couple years later, I went back, and they were able to get past their need for my phone number and give me a haircut. It worked out. They had my money and I had a decent haircut. Went back a couple months later, and once again, they refuse to cut hair unless you give them a phone number. We were unable to complete the money for haircut transaction. read more

I've been going to the Woodburn location for over a decade. Hairstylists come and go, but I've had an excellent experience each time. Mailor and her team are friendly, and even though they were short-staffed, they took the time to listen to what I wanted. I highly recommend this establishment. read more

I went in to get my eyebrows waxed today like I usually do and they usually always do a good job but today in the evening I found out that some of the waxing glue got stuck in my hair and I had to cut a piece of my hair off which pissed me off. read more

DO NOT COME HERE. I went in for a trim since my hair was getting kind of long. The cut was not good. Kind of uneven. The main reason was because THE LADY GOT THE HAIR COMB STUCK ON MY EAR PIERCING. she almost pulled it out. My ear was bleeding so much. But I didn't notice until I got home and saw my ear covered in dried up blood. read more

Crystal is an amazing stylist, and I'd recommend her to everyone! She cut my young sons hair, and was so patient and kind! As well, she even gave us a tip, to bring our boy in occasionally for a lolly pop and to say hi, to get him familiar with the salon setting. What a great tip! She exudes professionalism, and a genuine joy for what she does for a living. She gives this salon a very welcoming vibe. I will continue bringing my whole family here for her! Horrible experience due to when I got my hair cut, asked the lady to do a 2 to 3 fad up on the sides, she ended cutting my bangs completely uneven, and the part in my hair is no where near where she left excess hair on the top of my head. Zero stars if I could. I walked in off the street. Got my temp taking, was ask questions, and I sat down. The very next customers walked in, maybe 5 minutes later. Mother and daughter; NEITHER were tested for temps, or asked any questions about health. Then another stylist comes in; starting shift I guess. None of the stylists were wearing protective gloves. I got up and walked out. And they wonder why the virus spreads. I will NEVER go there again. Don't know who the manager is, but it's apparent they are not being careful, nor are they consistent with protocol. read more

Heather is a great stylist at the Woodburn Supercuts. Very pleasant and very attentive. The problem with the Woodburn location is that they are severely understaffed. And the staff from the Canby salon who are scheduled to work a shift in Woodburn are often late, up to an hour, which extends customer wait times. I hope they get their staffing issues figured out. So call ahead and ask for Heather. She is great!!! read more

I gave a reference picture of myself. I have wavy hair and in the picture you can clearly see it. She cut way too much. After cutting she cut more for layering. One side is way shorter than the other. Never going there again. So disappointed. read more

Horrible experience!!! Amy was HORRID and unprofessional. My mom went in to have her hair stripped of red highlights and blonde highlights to be put in. Her hair turned out with even more red, and less blonde than before. They offered for her to come back to have it fixed. So she paid half the bill and left. She immediately called me very unhappy and I told her she probably shouldnt have paid anything until she got what she asked for. So I came down to the salon with her, we intended to get her hair fixed. Before we could even say a word, the hairstylist barked at her that the dye WOULD NOT work on her hair. So I then said we would like a refund. Amy proceeded to give us a number for customer services and told us if issued a refund it would take 30 days. My mom then spoke up and said that wouldnt work and could she just do it at the register. Amy then yelled at mom, saying no it was impossible to refund at the register. So my mom did get heated and upset. The stylist walked away and yelled that she would get her manager. The manager was very understanding and nice, they called the owner amd I spoke with her, and she said that she was informed that my mom was unhappy on every visit (untrue, she has gone there for years), and that she needed to not yell in front of customers. The owner then walked the manager through how to issue our refund from the register. So my mom calmed down, Amy then came from the back room and shouted at my mom that she needed to get out of the store, my mom calmly tried to talk to her, and Amy continued to yell to get off the property. It was scary. She was very aggresive and provoking. We stayed silent and left with or refund as she shouted for us to never come back. Please do not go there, or have Amy as your stylist. She is a loud, aggresive and unprofessional human being and an awful inexperienced hairstylist. read more

Stay away from this location. Amy was very unprofessional and her Supervisor Gaylene was far worse. I use to get my haircut at Supercuts in the city I moved from. Now in Woodburn I thought I'd do the same. I went in for a simple haircut. Dry cut, no wash. There was one person ahead of me and 2 in chairs. As I waited an additional 2 people came in for haircuts. One chair became available when Gaylene started her shift so I was next. A lady parked right in front of the door, left her car running and came in to ask Amy how busy she was. Amy told her "I don't know right now let me finish this cut and I'll look then come let you know." The lady went back to her car to wait. I figured she was a regular wanting a haircut from Amy. Amy finished the haircut, collected money then walked outside to talk to the lady in her car. Amy didn't check the log before she went out. Now there are 3 people after me waiting. I waited awhile before standing up to wait. I observed the room. Gaylene and another stylist were still cutting hair. A rediculous amount of time went by when you have so many waiting for haircuts. I asked out loud to the two lady's " I believe I am next. Is she, I pointed, on a break?" The ladies did not know the other lady, Amy, had left her station. Gaylene told me "yes she must be." I sat back down and waited. Amy came back in and looked at the appointment book then called my name. I was very pleasant calling her Ma'am as I did not know Amy's name until I called to complain. I explained how I like my hair cut. It is short, the crown in the back I like to style a little higher with a round brush so I end up with a nice question mark curve in it. The sideburns are long and flowy so it softens the look overall. I let Amy know all this and to please not cut the sideburns part too short but they definitely needed to be trimmed. Half way into my cut I noticed the car was gone from in front of the door. I ask if the lady waiting in her car for a haircut didn't wait for her. Amy replied " no, she and I learned to cut hair together. She just wanted to catch up." Amy finished my cut and sent me on my way. She did not offer a mirror so I could view the back of my head. Amy did not cut the sideburns areas at all. I let her know when she was coming my hair right off the bat that I did not put hairspray in it that morning because I knew it would make it more challenging for her to cut. She thanked me for that. I was offered no styling aids for my hair even though Amy knew I used hair spray. There was no up-sale, no question as to if I even needed any product at home. I called the number provided online by Supercuts for people to call for complaints. I called into this call center and talked to Hunter. I let him know I did not want to talk to the store manager as I did not know who that was but she could be the problem allowing employees to work in this manner. Hunter understood and gave me the name of the supervisor who oversees the Woodburn store, Gaylene. I was told she would call me. When she called she said she was cutting hair in the chair next time and it seemed like everything was going fine. This conversation is how I found out Amy and Gaylene's names. Gaylene knew I let Hunter know I wanted a refund so Gaylene said I could come back in for a free haircut. I told her that would be too uncomfortable. Gaylene then said I could drive to Canby for a free haircut there as she oversees that store too. Gaylene proceeded to tell me many things the public should not hear that made me want to really not go to either location for sure. She said Amy is the manager of the Woodburn store but she got put in the position without knowing how to do that job. Gaylene said she is working in the store trying to teach Amy how to manage and help because they have been short handed. I was asked not to blame them but to understand. Gaylene saw nothing wrong with Amy going outside to talk to her friend, for much longer than a little conversation. She said the employees at the Woodburn location have been so understaffed they work without breaks because there is no time. Gaylene explained to me how it was OK that Amy did this. Can you say BOLI. Gaylene is allowing the law to be broken knowingly. She also told me due to the ladies working so fast they sometimes forget to offer a mirror or product but I could have asked for those things. DO NOT GO TO THE WOODBURN LOCATION. read more

You're looking at a $16 haircut (not including shampoo, everything is extra), possibly up to an hour wait, and a possibility of having to return later for them to redo the haircut lol. Now $16 for a haircut to me is a good deal, better than $30+ at high end salons but honestly for $16.95 you can go to Perfect Look in the Woodburn mall and get a haircut AND shampoo (hell yea!). I would recommend them instead, and if a man is there by the name of Clint then go for him. Supercuts can have some good stylists, but then they leave because they become over worked and you're left with the... "Not going anywhere" hairstylists :/. read more

$16 for a simple hair cut is not cheap. Even after giving person cutting my hair simple instructions (which she asked for), she still did whatever she wanted. Some people know how to cut hair and others are just plain butchers. With Supercuts - it's a hit or a miss - and more than likely, it's a miss, and you pay for it! read more

The staff there is great! They are all professionals and have had to go to Supercuts advance training unlike other salons. There might be long waits and that's because they are good and business is growing. They have hired more stylists to accommodate for the increase in business. They now have a Spanish speaking stylist too! People think because it's Supercuts that it should be cheap, the employees go through the same amount of education as the high end salon stylist and more. The stylists don't barter or change the prices that are set. They are convenient and you can call ahead (same day) or check in online or on their mobile app if you don't want to wait in the salon. I would let any one of them cut my hair! read more
