When she was done, she had to do it over because it did not look good and even the stylist reluctantly agreed there was not enough contrast between the base color and the highlights, making the hair look one color. They should hold true to the policy that the customer is always right. It is their job to keep the clients happy and not argue about what they think the client should do. Also, the cost of the renovations recently done is being passed on to the clients through the increase in prices, which is not fair. They overbook and make you wait. I was very unhappy and would not recommend Locks That Rock.

My stylist, Carly, reached out to request a photo of my hair so that she was prepared and moved up my appointment an hour earlier to ensure we had enough time. I also provided a photo of the look I had done previously so she'd know exactly what I was looking for. When I arrived, I was greeted by Carly and she was super friendly. The salon looks like a house on the outside but the inside was transformed. The interior is super cute. It's well kept, bright and stylish. The other stylists were so friendly and welcoming. Before the magic began, Carly advised me that my service would actually end up being around $150 more than I was quoted due to the length of hair I have and the product needed. This was definitely disappointing. I expected a variance but not something so drastic, as I booked the service for long hair to begin with. I opted for the partial balayage and it was still more than quoted and over my anticipated budget. That was the only disappointment I had. Other than that, Carly was very professional and she did beautiful work. My hair was the exact shade I was looking for. It was very natural looking. Carly provided information on when to have my look touched up and sent me home with samples of their amazing smelling shampoo and conditioner. Overall, I was very pleased with the outcome. I'd recommend Carly. She did a great job and was fun to talk to!

Last week i came in to the salon to get a trim and dusting. i showed the stylist the cute in the image that i wanted. This would be considered a dusting to some people. As she began to cut my hair i noticed she was going to far in the back but took a deep breath because the back grows fast and i could handle that. as she made her way to the front the began to chop my hair off. she took at least 4-5 inches off of my hair. i began to cry and her response to that was " i wont say im sorry because i know it wont help" as she finished this butcher job she began to style it in a way that simply wouldnt work because it was so badly cut. as i walked to the front they still made me pay and began to chastise me stating that it was a good hair cut. i did not want to embarrass the stylist so while crying hysterically, i paid and left. when i got in my car i called and asked for my money back. they fought with me stating that they didn't think it was a bad hair cut while laughing in the background. i would NEVER expect anyone to go to this salon as they do not care about basic customer service and could care less about your feelings.
