My stylist was very pleasant and friendly. I only waited about five minutes as a walk-in. All I needed was a wash and blow out. The prices have nearly doubled since the last time I was in about two years ago. $45 for a wash and blow out and no option for her to curl the ends like I prefer since they do not have curling irons. A salon without a curling iron? ODD. I did not ask for a round brush but I am Soum that's what she would use to blow out my hair. Unfortunately, the plastic brush that she used did not allow for any lift which is what I went in there for. I ran in for a haircut without an appointment as I was leaving for vacation. Big mistake.... terrible hair cut. I have thick hair and was squirted down with a water bottle after questioning cutting my hair dry. No sectioning. She was personable but didn't listen. Showed a picture and what I got was far from it. Tried to explain and showed her how uneven it was. I was told it was even but she could cut it uneven if I wanted. l said no thank you and left. Supercuts is an overpriced haircut mill. $78 for wash, cut and blow dry and of course I tipped well because it's not the stylist's fault. Next time I'll pay a little extra for a quality haircut somewhere else. read more

My wife and step-daughter took my 3 year old granddaughter here and the stylist (and I use that term lightly) absolutely butchered her hair. If I didn't know better I would have sworn the woman was blind. The cut was terribly uneven and looked like someone had taken scissors and just hacked away aimlessly. I simply cannot describe it without using words that should not be said in public. She had to be taken to another salon to try to get it fixed as best as possible and they did a pretty good job but to really fix the damage it would have been necessary to cut all her hair off and pretty much start over as it grew. Absolutely terrible cut from Supercuts and there was zero chance of allowing Supercuts to try to fix it. How can you fix something when you don't know how to do it right to begin with??? Now I'm sure the hack that did this job would try to say it was a kid and kids are hard to cut. This is nonsense because my granddaughter even at 3 is like a statue when she gets a haircut. I swore never to go to any Supercuts years ago because the only thing you are guaranteed of is the possibility of an acceptable cut. If only people would listen to me. read more

Today I went to see my regular hairdresser, Leeann, at Supercuts in Wappingers Falls. As usual, she was as friendly and professional as she always is. And I absolutely LOVE my haircut and color. She always does whatever I ask her to do, nothing more and nothing less. I have been going to Leeann for several years now and I don't know what I would do if I didn't have her to count on for great service, always with a smile and terrific conversation and friendship! I went to a few places before what I thought was "settling" for Super Cuts to be happy with a haircut. I should have started here from the beginning. It's been 3 haircuts with different stylists (barber, hair dresser, hair cutter?) and all of them have been great. Did a very bad haircut! Messed up everything. Went in for a simple haircut which could have been done in very better way. The hair stylist did not listen to what I had to say and was just concerned about how she could finish the haircut in minimum time. The hot towel is just an advertisement gimmick. What the heck ?? I called them up and specifically asked.....are you willing to cut my hair dry and they said sure, no problem. I go in and the girl says, you're here for the dry cut? Yes, I am. Proceeds to spray my hair with a water bottle until it is soaking wet (and I am soaking wet). Lots n lots of spraying. I was desperate to get my hair cut so I stayed, not to mention I didn't want to pay a high price for a VERY simple 1 inch trim along the bottom,...thats all I wanted. So she cuts my hair and says OK? I said...well can you dry it a bit? She turns the dryer on and drys it for about 30 seconds. My hair was still soaking wet...they don't dry hair after they are done???? I was so disgusted I just said fine, paid and walked out. no tip. never going back. read more

Inconsistent, uneven haircuts. More like a butcher shop. Outcome depends, A LOT, on who is cutting your hair that day. Had one girl, who was somewhat ok, cut my hair twice and I never seen her there again. My haircut is very simple, buzz cut. If you can not get the sideburns even and they are 1/2" different in heights, you shouldn't be cutting anyone's hair. The kicker is that NEXT DOOR "barber shop",unless the owner cuts your hair, is no better. read more

I went to get my eyebrows waxed by Amanda. I didn't have to wait because she called my name right away. She did them in the back area of the hair salon, where they wash your hair. When she put the warm wax on, it wasn't too hot it was just right. What caught my attention was Katharine and another girl talking badly about another co-worker. Is this what young female hairdressers do? It went on for awhile and it pissed me off! I do not want to hear your issues with your co-workers!! I was surprised at their actions. The next day, when I was putting on my makeup, I noticed a small area where she took my skin right off! It was a small open wound. I've been going here for years. I have never received a bad haircut from any of the employees. I feel it's because they really listen to what I want. You can't make advance appointments but you can check-in online or by phone so I very rarely have to wait more than 5 minutes. Most times there is no wait at all. Yes this place is low budget but I always leave there very happy with my haircut. I'm even happier that I didn't spend mega bucks getting it either! read more

I went in for a shampoo and blow out. While half of my hair was getting shampooed I was constantly getting hit in the face with the girl's charm bracelets. She only shampooed half of my hair. I felt it also when she was reaching up for the conditioner I scratched my neck and felt the hairspray and my hair was still dry. I don't have thick or coarse hair or even long hair. I have thin hair that's to my shoulders. I was charged $35.00 for the services for long hair it even says it on the receipt. I gave the girl a $5.00 tip so in total I paid $40.00. I asked why I was charged so much and the receptionist shrugged her shoulders then continued talking to her coworkers about what she ordered for lunch and how much she owes for her food at planet wings. she also kept saying I had a cut shampoo and blow out and I constantly corrected her from when I first walked in and at the check out. so with being said I walked out with my hair half done and the other was still hair sprayed with curls. I am not happy at all. they weren't even busy. I will never go there again! read more

I wish she would have just told me she didn't know how to deal with it. I'm in pure disbelief bordering on depression over how horribly my hair was cut today. The fact that it wasn't what I asked for is one thing, that could be a mistake or miscommunication which is understandable, but the fact that I was sent out of the place with that hideous of a haircut is shocking. I just don't understand how a professional could have come up with those results. I expressed to the stylist that I had been growing my hair out of being shaved for months. I was proud of the progress. My top layer was down to my shoulders and I just wanted it taken down to a bob, but absolutely all of my length was taken off, and bizarre layers are everywhere. The top layer doesn't even come to my ears now, when I didn't ask for layers in the first place. It is BIZARRE how poor of a hair cut it is. It's completely jagged and rough doesn't make sense for what it is, but is also so so far from just the plain old inch that I wanted taken off. I'm so disappointed, confused, and hurt. read more
