She was saying things like, "you should come back if you don't like it"--since I have tons of free time to have my hair fixed. She was acting annoyed with me. I may have offended her when I said the first time I wasn't feeling the cut as much. She got me in the day of, but she did not manage her time well. She took 15 minutes over my scheduled appointment time to get me in, then of course, went over the time I needed. The hair cut is fine, I suppose, but her impatience with me, and lack of kindness does not make me want to go back. The first visit was much better.

Back in December I got a haircut, on a whim, from a place I walked into where I live in WA (I'm…read moreoriginally from NY) and I went to Kaleigh yesterday to help me fix it. It had since grown out and was horrible--I couldn't style it or make it look decent and was wearing it in a ponytail most days. Kaleigh was amazing!! I explained to her that I would love to take advantage of my hair's wavy texture as well as have options to style it on my own as I LOVE to play with my hair and she completely understood me. She also took in the added factor of me being pregnant and due in just a few months so I'd like something that could be easy as well as something that would grow out well over the next few months. She really did an excellent job of listening to my desires, showing me ideas and taking her time to explain what she'd like to do and why. I LOVE my hair cut! I wish I could take her back to WA with me...but since I can't, I know I'll be visiting her next time I'm here. Kaleigh is a fantastic hairstylist who really does LISTEN to her clients and works with them--that's a combination that I feel is very rare these days.

Disappointing Experience - Would Not Recommend…read more Being new to the area, I gave this salon a few tries for both cuts and color. Unfortunately, my experiences were consistently disappointing. On one occasion, a stylist applied my hair color using a dry brush, pulling so hard while putting in the hair dye that I had to ask multiple times for her to stop yanking my hair back. My hair is already fragile, so this was incredibly uncomfortable and concerning. I eventually found a stylist I liked for color, but when I booked an appointment with her in the morning, I ended up sitting there for over 25 minutes before I had to ask what was going on--only to be told that she had completely forgotten about me. I had taken time off work for this appointment, which made the situation even more frustrating. After I left, she texted me an apology and asked if I wanted to reschedule. Absolutely not. Beyond these specific incidents, the salon itself has a cold, dreary, and somewhat snobby atmosphere. The pricing is also way too high for the level of service provided. It seems like hairstylists rent their own booths, so you might get lucky with one person, but overall, I cannot recommend this place.

Gentle hands and very quiet which makes for a peaceful experience (personal preference for a quiet hair cut). Simple cut $25 and he takes the time to straighten my hair at the end which I love. The woman cutting my hair was nice enough but she seemed very unsure of everything she did. It took her forever to dry my hair yet the blow dryer was so hot that it was burning my scalp and face as she tried to dry it......and I don't have thick hair....as she washed my hair, water got all over my face as she was spraying and she didn't have a towel around my neck while washing, so my dress got wet. I know these seem like small things but sometimes it's the small things that make a huge difference. If I'm going for just a simple cut no problem! But if it's anything more like a color or an extreme change I would recommend going somewhere else......
