Recently moved to Tucson and seeking a regular hair salon for haircut only, no color or chemicals. I'm an older female with long, layered hair. I first went to a very expensive salon and despite the high price, received a mediocre cut, from a person who acted like she didn't want to be cutting hair. What did I have to lose going to a Supercuts, which cost a fraction of the other salon? It can be risky in these high-volume salons, to get an inexperienced, brand new graduate out of cosmetology school, so I read many reviews first, and I found that the stylist, Daleigh, received multiple good reviews. I had made an appointment for 10, but they were backed up, and two people were ahead of me. I didn't want to wait, so I said I'd be back in a hour. I'm glad I had the time flexibility to do this. Daleigh asked me what I was looking for; I showed her pictures of what I'd like. She asked for clarification and followed my preferences. I am VERY happy with my cut and style; Daleigh made several suggestions for styling and she seemed genuinely concerned with my satisfaction. She was friendly, warm and easy to talk to, so I think I found my new local salon! read more

I booked an appointment for root touch up last week after Alejandra had let me know that they have a promo for 20% off color on Tuesdays. Daleigh was the one that did my hair. She did a consultation before starting the work, asked the opinion of her coworkers too, and then made thoughtful recommendations. She took her time to color my hair and we talked about so many random things. It was like I was talking to one of my nieces and I loved that! Everyone. In there was nice and the location is super clean and put together. I wanted to book my next appt for 6 weeks out but their system doesn't let them. Overall very happy and I will be back! read more

I have been coming to this place for over 9 months always wash and braid. this morning I come in I was told they are going to charge me for my braid. None of the other gals do. I always tip well for their service. so, I ask this gal if she had a rubber band, she said no it was on her next order. I asked if I was going to pay for my braid what was she going to use. No comment from her. I don't like being lied too. This is the first time I have never tipped for someone's service. I highly don't Recommend Bernadette. read more

I have been going to this Supercuts for almost a year, and the quality of my haircut varies. So that's about 10 visits for haircuts . Sometimes the haircut a Is great and sometimes it just average. Some stylists have a good personality like Robert. He did a great job, took his time and was actually interested in conversing with me. Toni was great and also was interesting, paid attention to my requests, and answered my concerns. Three of the other ladies who cut my hair were horrible. They wouldn't answer my questions or comments. Who wants to get a haircut from a stylist where the customer is ignored. Maybe they had a bad day or several bad days. I always leave a good tip, but that may change especially when the stylist is sullen and rude. Perhaps I should start scheduling my appointments on days when Robert and Toni are working. I think that's a good plan. Then I won't be disappointed. So my recommdation for this Supercuts is "Hit and Miss." The store was so much better about a year ago when it first opened. read more

Went for a very basic hair cut today with Ty, 3 on sides, finger length on top and faded up. Everything went fine during the cut, and it seemed to look ok with me at the time, although it took longer then usual. I got home and realized that she did not blend the cut at all (see picture). She literally just cut it and left it. I am convinced that she does not know how to blend it properly. If she did then she just chose not to do it right. I usually got to the cost cutters down the street, but they didn't have anything until 4 days from now. I guess I should have waited. Sad day!!! read more

My 14 yo wanted a straightforward cut with face framing... the woman gave her full on bangs, the entire front 1/2 of her hair. Then the most choppy, uneven, deep blending. When I went to fix it, I couldn't believe how much she cut. My daughter now has full on fringe bangs. We will be going to Gadabout, hoping they can salvage some of it so it can grow before first day of high school (though without doing full layers or going chin length, it would take a miracle!). read more

Robert was friendly and took time to give me one of the best haircuts I've had in years.

Tried this location wanted a trim of a half inch off and style with round brush and dry also told them I wanted volume. They cut my hair what looks to be way more and shaping wasn't great . I went over everything I wanted at the beginning after the haircut she informed me she may not have time to finish the styling. She told me I already have another client I need to finish. Super Cuts rates have turned crazy it was over $40 and nothing at all like I wanted as no volume to it. read more

I usually only go to super cuts for my cuts because I just keep my hair at one length. I believe my hair dresser was Stephanie? She was very sweet and gave a great massage when she was washing my hair. Unfortunately when I came home and my hair dried, I realized how horrible my haircut was. I left the salon with my hair still damp and I didnt feel the need to pay close attention when my haircut was over because I figured anyone can cut hair in a straight line... apparently I was wrong. read more

Absolutely terrible service. My 5 year old went in for a hair cut. I told the lady right above the shoulders and no bangs. My daughters hair is right next to her ears and has terribly short bangs. I won't mention a name but you know who you are... i will also add. We walked in at 215 the lady cutting the hair said she had to leave by 235. Not sure why she volunteered to cut my daughters hair knowing she had to leave that soon. She RUSHED through the haircut, whipped my daughters head around, and at 240 she asked me what time it was... I proceeded to tell her 240 and she stopped blow dying my daughters hair and said I have to go. Rushed us to pay and ran out the door. On the way home my FIVE year old said "mommy I feel bad she was late to pick up her kids, that's why she couldn't finish my hair" I hope you read this and feel absolutely terrible. I just recommend that please do not tell customer how long time customer needs to wait cause you guys do not have idea ! The lady let me wait 40min after 50min she just done the first customer , and she called another lady's name , I saw that lady customer had a long hair and maybe needs another hour to finish that . so I left there . I ran over to the bdwy location they were slammed, ran over to prince got right in with Catherine. She and I talked about my hair. Im currently growing it out and hate it. I got highlights here and it turned out god awful! My hairdresser's name was Christina. The highlights didn't blend with my hair, they started far from my scalp so it looked like there was already growth and to top it all off it was yellow and super brassy despite toning it twice. I literally wanted to cry and had to get spend more money and time to fix it. I wrote emails twice to the corporate office and never heard back. read more

Dale Atchison is rude, unprofessional, and the worst "hair stylist" I've seen. When he isn't bumping into his clients with his disgusting beer belly, he likes to aggressively grab and poke at their hair, scalp, and even ears. Unfortunately, his sausage fingers weren't the only things that stabbed at my ear holes, the country music and his off-tune humming made them ache as well. His personal hygiene was seemingly nonexistent, and the smells that came from his many flaps made me want to splash some of the shampoo back onto him as he painfully and aggressively washed my hair. I asked him to blow dry my hair, a concept that he was bewildered by, and he proceeded to clumsily attempt the simple task. He was so inept at handling a hair dryer that it was understandable that he might not be able to use a bar of soap either. At the end of the "haircut" (it felt like more of an attack) he had the nerve to overcharge me as well. I have never had such a bad experience in a barber shop, I would say he is a terrible barber but I don't think he even qualifies for the position. Hopefully he is fired or decides to leave and pursue something else because I have never seen someone so under-qualified for a role. All I wanted was a stylist that can perform a simple haircut, what I got was a disgusting troll who can't even perform simple hygiene. read more

Stephanie not only gave me an amazing cut, she was generous with her time and very patient with me as I decided mid-way that I wanted to go a bit shorter. Wow, today I was graced with the opportunity of Brandee cutting my hair. She was absolutely amazing in that she put all her effort and time/care in making me look good! From the beginning, she asked what I wanted and when I said the last barber didn't fade my hair very well, she said she could fix it; and she did JUST THAT. I could tell that she genuinely cared about my haircut because she was very meticulous about my hair. After the haircut she got a warm towel and cleaned up the hair on my neck and face. I was so impressed by the attention to detail and care that she gave to me that I gave her a $10 tip, and I STILL feel that wasn't enough to show my appreciation for her work. In the end, I left with an amazing haircut that was 1000 times better than the last haircut that I received. First of all this place they call Supercuts has call a heads! BS I had to wait 40 mins. Its not a real Salon ok. Its a fast food hair cutting place. And then I get this B of a woman with no personality named Susanna and she messed up my hair. Whats up with the stupid towels after the hair cut really I just wanna go and be on my way. She talked way to much. I just wanted to close my eyes and relax but I couldn't because her dragon breath was off the hook. Never again will I go back.. Its cheap because she blows..
