I cannot speak for the other reviews of this location but I had a great experience today. I only waited about 5 mins to get seated even though Paige said it might be 10-15 mins. When it was my turn I had Paige cut my hair which was well overdue. She took her time and made sure everything was exactly what I wanted. I think she did a fantastic job and I would go back to this location the next time I need a trim or haircut. CJ is gone and now it has turned into Supercuts Lawn and Hair Care Center. My last visit was damning to my fro as I got a gardener and not a hair stylist. The little bald spot from the scar on my head is forgivable, I cannot say the same for the additional chunks removed from my scalp. Needless to say, I will never return. If you wish to save a buck on your Halloween hairdo or if you don't have much hair, this is the place for you. I went to this Supercuts for the first time and I was surprised the reviews were so bad. Sierra did my hair and did a cut and highlights so I was there for a while. All the staff was nice and personable to all the customers that came in. Sierra really listened to what I wanted and also made suggestions. I am so happy I found this place. Though it took me a while to write a Yelp Review, I am super particular on my hair. I had Paulina cut and color my hair. Unfortunately, I was in a time restriction, but she totally met and exceeded the time restraint I was in. She listened, and now, WOW! I can wear my hair down (which was the goal), instead of a ponytail. She also recommended some REALLY amazing hair product, and unlike other stylists, who recommended oil based, which made my hair feel oily and too shiny when straightened, she recommended a cream base, which is enough to hold down my frizzies, and also make my hair look great for the WHOLE day. Walked in and Andrew was working, said he was the only one there and he'd be done with the lady he was working on in 30-45 mins. I told him we'd walk around and be back. This place is so clean and I had a really great experience here. Nora did my hair and I am so happy with it. Just a simple a-line bob but it is exactly what I wanted. I had to bring my two young children with me and I am so appreciative to Nora and the other stylist for being patient with them and putting up with the mayhem. The location is clean and welcoming. I am new to town and tried another stylist that didn't listen or couldn't execute my request, so a little scissor shy I explained my situation to Paulina. She listened, explained her solution, shampooed (great massage) and went to work. After a blow dry...I once again have happy hair which makes me a happy girl. I saw Sierra and gave her carte blanche with my hair. She suggested I cut over 8 inches off and with some trepidation I went for it. My hairstyle is amazing! She took her time, checked in to make sure I was comfortable throughout the process, and did not hesitate to recheck her work. I appreciated this because I do not have parts of my hair that are different lengths or layers that are of different thickness. I also had my eyebrows waxed and she did a great job with them. Best hair salon I've been to in a while. My husband has raved about this place for a few months now. Andrew was a lifesaver yesterday! Not only did he do a fabulous job on my husbands high and tight, he created an amazing updo look for me. He took his time and made sure it was something that I loved! Went in and asked if they could cut my hair while it is dry. I always go to the supercuts on College/Marron and they do a great job cutting dry hair. I happened to be in the area so I asked this location to do it and the stylist was so rude. She said "umm sure but it's not going to be even." I'm like uhh what. She says "yeah I can't guarantee it'll be even but I'll do it." Needless to say I said NO thank you and left. No wonder there were no other customers in the salon!! read more

We recently moved to San Diego County and I was more than thrilled with the cut and service from Alicia at Super Cuts. She listened to what I wanted, layered with face framing and bangs. If I could give no stars I would !!!!!! The worst experience I have ever had from Stephanie !!!! I asked for a color / cut / treatment... I even asked if we had time for all of it within a 3 hour time frame because of prior engagement and she said oh yes then she made me wait ! ... then I had to remind her for time when she was putting my color on ... color kept dripping on my neck and ears .. never wiped it once ! She ruined my damn shirt with so much dye spots and didn't APOLOGIZE.. she attempted to take color out with some product and smeared it instead!! She knew I had to leave and never even offered to to give a discount or make me feel relevant!!! Seriously don't go here. They are always short staffed. You always have to wait. Yesterday i walked in shortly past 7. They close at 8. I figure there's a flashing " open" sign so hopefully someone can help me. The worker guy says "it's 7 and there's 3 people ahead of you so we won't be able to help you." Then turn off your "open" lights!! Geesh. If a place is open til 8, you should take walk ins up until 8. Or advertise that you close at 7 cuz obviously you don't want business enough where you have to stay working a minute past 8. read more

I come here every time I need a haircut. I always ask for Sierra because she's always does a great job on my hair and is good at giving suggestions when you're trying to change things up a bit. The customer service was great, but they suggested balaylage highlights for my hair. Basically they put bleach on everything and did not even leave it on for long enough. When I got home, I saw that my hair was just orange. Yeah, you can tell there are some highlights in there, but its definitely orange. I came here to leave a positive review on a very friendly new stylist named Andrew. He did an amazing job on my son's hair even though we came in thirty minutes before closing and they were obviously busy. As I came here to write my review, I noticed one comment from a poster name Terry who I believe was the man who came in his UPS uniform demanding a hair cut two minutes before closing (although he claims he came in at 7) causing a scene and making the entire staff and clients feel EXTREMELY uncomfortable. Not only was he unprofessional using foul language in his work uniform, but he continued to insist upon a haircut even though the staff informed him politely that they had people ahead of him and would already be working past closing. I am only mentioning this because I feel his review was not accurate in his portrayal of this Supercuts. I can understand his annoyance in them being understaffed but that is not the employee's fault. I hope my review was helpful. read more

I went here earlier this morning. The lady was super nice, I showed a picture of how I wanted my hair and she acted like she knew what I was talking about. Seconds in she already screwed it up and just started cutting away doing exactly what I told her I didn't want to do. I said I wanted a gradual trim in the side of my head down and she just went ahead and cut it flat all the same height. I was so frustrated but I didn't say anything because I didn't want to be a jerk. She even cut the front of my hair shorter that the hair on top of my head, like what the heck!? That's the opposite of the style I was going for. Anyways my hair looks absolutely horrible, I am super embarrassed of it. Even canceled my date today so I could try to fix it a little. Long story short, the workers are nice but make sure you are extremely clear about want you want. Don't go ahead and trust them that they know what your talking about. It was probably my mistake for not being more demanding, it's tough for me since I'm a nice guy. But just some advice make sure to take perfectly clear on what you want and to control every step of the way. read more
