I always get a fantastic cut at a very reasonable price at Supercuts. My stylist Shannon has been cutting my hair for so long she doesn't even have to ask how I'd like it cut. Honestly you can't put a price on that kind of familiarity and professionalism. read more

I brought my daughter here and asked for her bangs to be evened out. Also a tiny trim but not much because I wanted them to fall right at her eyebrow. when I looked they cut about an inch above her eyebrow. They obviously did not listen. read more

Only waited 5 minutes as walk-in, good cutting job, pleased with the service. Here from CT on vacation and pleased with the salon.

Just wanted to add. Please don't go to this Supercuts. I am honestly a little heartbroken at how badly my hair is ruined. I would do anything to not make that decision again. Whoever's working there should not be allowed to cut hair. read more

My regular barber is off on Mondays, and I needed an emergency haircut. I am not super serious about my hair. If a barber or stylist messes something up, I can have all the hair buzzed off. I will be a little irritated that it was messed up, but not too much. Women are more familiar with horror stories like this: having hair to their waistline, and asking for 6 inches off, with the stylist cutting off three feet and giving them bangs. Unfortunately, a mess up like this is harder to recover from. My experience was not so drastic, but similar in nature. When I sat down in the chair, I asked, very specifically for: 1. Two on top, one on the sides 2. White-Walls (high arches) 3. Faded (tapered) neckline. Here's what I got: 1. Three to the whole head 2. White-Walls 3. Boxed neckline When I saw the three on the head, I asked if it was, in fact, the cut I requested, the stylist said yes. I didn't feel like arguing, but I have been getting haircuts for a while, and I know what a three, a two, and a one looks like. What she gave me was not what I had requested. Cutting men's hair is very different from cutting women's hair, I don't know what level of experience the stylist had (especially with men's hair) Maybe she has given other men and women horror stories, or maybe she does beautiful styles, and she just messed up the clippers today, I'm not sure. But I feel as though the consumers should be aware of my experience and decide for themselves. read more

Used to go to the Supercuts in Beverly where the girls cut my hair flawlessly every time for $12 Was for some reason charged $40 here for a cut and was very rushed. Done in about 5 minutes even though no one was waiting behind me (I have a lot of hair). Would've been fine with the cut for under $20 but definitely not salon worthy at $40 Not sure if that's normal price at this location but I'd ask before they start! The girl was very nice though read more

Amanda was fantastic! Very friendly staff, good quick cut.

Kakada always cuts my hair perfectly. She has a passion for her job and I won't ever let anyone else cut my hair again! Call ahead and ask for her because she has quite a following! read more

I went there on a Saturday afternoon @ 1:00 P.M. I wanted just a basic men's regular haircut. The hair stylist was very nice noticed a lot of hair in the draw where she kept the scissors, could've had a cleaner work station. It wasn't that busy 3 or 4 people in there, also tough to get into & out of the parking lot, tough with a high traffic area. As far as the haircut wasn't the best, wasn't the worst. I have been going to another place for years but i'm thinking lets try another place for the hell of it. I will be returning to the place where i have been going. I think I will be avoiding the "McDonalds" of hair salons from now on. read more

I have been looking for HAIRSTYLISTS for at least a year. The previous place totally screwed up my hair!! I mean chopped it angled it to my face; the list goes on& on& on! When I started my journey, my hair was to my ass. Yes, to my ass! I cut it and donated to locks of love; proceeded to a particular hairstyle. An angled bob. To make a long story short, not one, but two of the ladies Angela ( listened to my rant& issues and fixed all my problems& Jackie(without glasses) cut off another 1/2 inch and put the color in it. i can not express how great i felt when i left the salon! In order for me to get the haircut I really want it, has to grow out. (cause Mora CHIPPED& chopped!) but, I feel very comfortable with the color and the cut. I will definitely be coming back for another trim and cut! I give 4 stars bc, there was a dye line near the front of my head& I had to scrub it off when I got home. Other than that, awesome experience!!! read more

Bad environment and bad energy from this place. I went here because online it said there was no wait I want there and asked a question about pricing the front desk lady went to the stylist and they were whispering between themselves looked at me and continued to whisper then the lady came back to me and said they didn't have any time to do my hair when In fact it was early in the morning and the website said there were openings first time I tried this salon and my last. read more

My friend's sister Michelle works here, I'm pretty sure she runs the salon... She's not one of those hairdressers where their own hairstyles make you wonder if you are safe in the chair with them, something I find really easily off-putting. I'm not a haircut person. I'm painfully afraid of people effing up my hair. Michelle did an amazing job of trying to get my hair as healthy as possible without making me cry- something that usually follows a trim or haircut for me.... She washed my hair, gave me long bangs, cleaned up my layers, and then straightened my hair for me (I wish everybody would do this for me!!! It would make me feel less like running home and balling up in fetal position, thank god she did!) This is officially the first haircut I've ever remembered liking. Usually I throw my hair into a ponytail or bun directly after and curse myself for falling for that haircut thing again... This time I felt pretty, and happy! Such an unusual feeling for me when leaving a salon. Michelle also cleaned up my eyebrows for me, I looked like a nicely touched up version of myself as I walked out the door. I am thinking of making this a regular thing, this haircut thing... read more

As usual, they are great. Went this week and had Nikkole? cut my hair. Again, an amazing hair cut. So glad I go there! read more

Ask for Kakada. She's been working with me the past few months on a recovery from a salon in Danvers (not a Supercuts) who did a hack job on my hair. She has been great in listening to how I want the haircut and kept in mind how I was trying to grow out the uneveness. I'm almost there! I am happy I found someone I can feel confident in. read more

I was getting my hair highlighted and eyebrows done I told the hairstylist ( I am sorry I don't remember her name which she was very nice) that i was not feeling very good i was trying to get to my chair and passed out they were all there helping me getting me water and fanning me all I needed was fresh air getting out there help a lot but i passed out again they called 911 and made sure that i had all my things I could not asked for better service than that I am going back today to thank all of them in person and pay for anything i owe them Thank you all for being there to help me in my time of need. read more

Slightly difficult to get to with traffic, but well worth the wait! Kristen was well-mannered and did a fantastic job!! I also really enjoyed the tea-tree treatment. I recommend seeing Kristen, although I'm sure all the staff does a great job! read more

Horrible, as usual they can't tell time or manage it. 45 minute wait turns into an hour before I walked out.

The woman who cut my hair on this particular visit was a little rough with the razor. That's all I'm saying.

I've been going here for over two years now consistently for trims and washes and the one thing that made me only give 4 stars before was the product pushing they sometimes did. This seems to have stopped completely and now the whole experience is just wonderful. I highly recommend the tea tree oil shampoo! My hair and I are both very happy here! read more

This is my first time going to super cuts and the girl who did my hair was super nice and gentle with me but I hated the way my hair came out I showed her the image I wanted my hair to look like and my hair looked no where near as close to it. My hair was still puffy and my roots where still curly it was 50 down the drain. I'm sorry but I will not be going there again read more

My advice is to have Kakada cut your hair. I've had two bad cuts there and one that was kinda "meh" ... Every cut I've had with Kakada has been amazing. She knows her stuff and is very kind. Only reason for 4 stars is the business side of things is a problem for me. No reservations other than day of, weirdly inconsistent phone service, and many of the employees clearly don't want to work there. But with Kakada you couldn't be in better hands. read more

Dull scissored wielding butchers of haircuttery. BEWARE really terrible "haircut" untrained non professionals, it will grow back, but don't waste your money. #dumptrump read more

I go only here for every haircut, as I have for 5 years, and my boyfriend does also. I have always left satisfied with the cut I got. Have had 3 stylists to whom I was loyal, but 2 of them left. Currently Kristal is my go-to-gal. She is sweet, she listens, and has always done what I requested. Drive in parking is via Marlborough Rd, though address is Highland Ave. ( on a corner) Nice big windows allow natural daylight in, yet chairs are placed so that you don't feel "on display" to outside. Reasonable, maybe comparatively low, prices, but I've not comparison shopped. You can call ahead for appt time, or walk in, which I do, never waited more than 10 mins. I have had bad experiences at some other hair salons, + have scalp issues, so I'm not an easily pleased client. Salem Super Cuts does great cuts. I will suggest it's usually good to describe exactly what you want, if you know. June C. read more

I received potentially the worst haircut I've ever gotten here this past week. My hair was much longer on one side after the haircut than the other. On one side, I had strands of hair left as "sideburns," and none on the other. I asked that the front of my hair be slightly longer than the back. It wasn't. The left back side was much longer than the rest... What was funny is that the woman who gave me the haircut gave me her card in case I wanted to ask for her again. read more

The chick screwed up my hair, didnt cut off the dead ends and has no idea what a straight line is. This place is expensive and terrible. I wouldn't recommend anyone to go there unless you want ur hair to look like crap. read more
