When we walked in, the staff was very friendly, genuinely happy to be there, and there was no wait. Rare atmosphere now a days. After reading a few reviews for Levon at the Supercuts in Queen Creek, I decided to give him a try. I got a perm a little over a month ago and by the time it was done processing I just didn't trust the stylist to cut it. I decided to live with it for a little while and see how it settled in. Unfortunately, she didn't let it process long enough and the bottom half of the top layer of hair was practically straight! Levon took the time to "play" with my hair and study the curl pattern before deciding how to cut the layers to bring out the curl. He did an amazing job!! I truly can't recommend him more highly. He is personable and skilled. The shop is clean and well maintained. I just moved to the area and I'm so grateful to find a top-notch stylist so quickly! read more

This review is for Levon specifically! Now I normally hate small talk during services, not for any particular reason I'm just not a small talker and try to keep it minimal. But Lavon? Lavon didn't make it feel like small talk or it's his job to be conversational it felt like having a catch up conversation with my best bud I hadn't seen in awhile. Even as a first time client it didn't feel like the awkward trying to get to know you obligatory conversation. Absolutely phenomenal hair cut as well. I went in with a general idea and a basic photo for reference (even though the pictured persons curl type was much curlier than mine) he listened to the gist of what I wanted and soared with it. Brought in my 10 year old grandson. He has had his hair cut numerous times there. This time the employee had NO experience. Could not follow the request we made. Conner the Assistant Manager came over...thinking she would help us. No, she had dropped her razor and tried it out on my grandson to see if it still worked. Really? No sanitation or anything. Not that when you go to Supercuts you are expecting high raking stylists, but some good basic skill sets would be nice. I would give zero stars if I could! Don't bother making appointments at Supercuts in Queen Creek on Rittenhouse and Ellsworth as they don't honor them anyway! Booked an appointment on the app at 10:15 am for an 11:00 with first available stylist, went there around 10:30 hoping to get in early. Only one stylist was there at the time. About 5 minutes to 11, 2 other folks walked in and sat down. At 11:10 another stylist walked in and called out the name of one of the folks sitting there, the other stylist came over and got the other client, calling them by name as well! When I asked how appointments work since I had one for 11:00 with first available stylist they said the other folks had 11:00 appointments as well, and I told them I had been sitting there for almost 45 minutes, why was I not going first, they said it will only be a little longer wait, I quest they wanted to take care of friends first! I will never go back and will make sure I tell all the folks I know who go there as well! read more

!!!!!AVOID!!!! My husband went in to get his hair cleaned up, one on the sides and blended and trim the top. Should have been pretty easy. First, while my husband was waiting two women were sitting at the front desk gossiping, not paying attention to customers in the lobby. Finally, they were through and the one talking the most called him back. Then, just all the nopes. He came home with almost a Mohawk it was so tight up top, uneven trim, not blended, and so uneven around his head. His left side was higher than the right, and the back dipped even worse. I'm pretty sure my 15-month old with a blindfold on could have done it. Please. Avoid this place. Go to the barber on Rittenhouse...or ask a kindergartener to use their safety scissors to trim you up, they will do a better job than this place. read more

I zipped in tonight for a quick trim. The stylist was not experienced. She didn't comb out my hair when I took it out of a hair elastic and made made a few cuts. Dropped the tools on the ground and picked them up and used them again. She asked if I had bangs, I said I had layers, she kept asking what I wanted for bangs then cut a straight line 3 inches high than my base hair. My hair was far from finished and she said I was done. It was a train wreck. When I identified my concerns she raised her voice at me and refused to check me out. The manager attempted service recovery but, the damage was done. I paid (yes paid) and went across the street to have the Ulta salon fix the damage. A total of 3 inches had to be cut off. I would not take my dog to this salon. read more

Always awesome I have been to numerous salons that have butched and bleached my hair. Teresa has been my 'go to' stylist now at Supercuts. Also providing great customer service. Especially a current customer when I was there last got her hair colored, highlights but she was not happy because it wasn't bleached enough. Her stylist offered many options to fix and all refused all she could say is 'how much time she has been there'. Well when your hair is down to your booty and you get coloring and highlights it is not fast. Teresa, salon manager, then offered EVERYTHING to this customer 1. To fix right at that moment by her personally 2. For the customer to come back next day to fix. 3. To only charge for darkened color which was a large discount Which, with all these offers to satisfy this unhappy customer all she kept saying is 'I have already spent so much time' over and over. The manager tried everything calmly to assist her even offering her to leave without a fee because she was so unhappy. The customer STILL standing there not accepting any of what was offered explaining how long she has been there.....reality check we can't freeze time for you. All was handled with great customer service and I still think the ladies hair looked beautiful the way it was done. Of course we will go back! read more

Where do I start with his place.. Maybe once they've been open for a while they will be better. Honestly not sure if I will try them again though, guess we'll see. We (Myself and 3 sons) checked in around 2:30 on Sunday 7/10, went in about 15-20 minutes later. Online it said our estimate was 3:15 so we expected a little bit of a wait. We noticed the usually name calling of people who weren't there, then around 3:35 noticed people coming in who's name had never been called so we went up to ask where we were in line. The lady said, "you were never marked as being here so I just did it, now there is 5 people ahead of you". We definitely checked in at the front desk when we came in but evidently the lady made a mistake and didn't mark us as being there. At first the lady basically told us, "sorry but it is what it is" (not those words but more or less), after I disagreed and explained the situation she reluctantly said "you guys will be the next ones back". Well low and behold, less than 5 minutes after this conversation, the very same lady came and called back someone else.. Are you kidding me?!!? I literally threw my hands up, she just looked at me like I was crazy.. I said my piece then walked out the door with my family. Maybe the girls are overworked but this is ridiculous.. I did all the right stuff like check in online then check in when you arrive. I even didn't big them crap about the wait as I sat and "thought" that people were going ahead of me but waited patiently.. No one wants to be "that guy"... I guess in this case I should have been. I say overworked bc they had a big "grand opening" sign out front and only 3 total girls working, didn't look abnormally busy though. Regardless, at a minimum this is poor management and we won't be back. Sorry so long.. Maybe this was a one-off but I doubt it. We needed up going to great clips across the street, checking in online, and out in around 20 minutes from the time we arrived there. The woman that cut my son's hair isn't afraid to go all Jerry Springer on you if you express disappointment.She says that she doesn't care how I feel because she has plenty of customers.My son showed her a photo of the hair style he wanted and she went rogue and just shaved his head.His haircut isn't even close to what he wanted.She also lied two times while deflecting blame.Why can't people recognize that civil honost feedback is doing them a service?Needless to say that we won't be back.Nor will any of our extended family be patrons to such an unprofessional establishment.I don't suspect they will be open very long. read more

This location is by far the rudest location. Today I went in for a simple cut and blow dry the woman who assisted me with my card was rude from the moment that I got there and obviously didn't feel like working. She then proceeded to sit me in her chair and not tell me her name. That should've been a red flag right there. I expressed that I wanted to do a cut style shared with her a picture and then I'll blow dry and she immediately said that She would not do my blow dry and that someone else would have to do it. Then told me that she had tendinitis. She was obviously hoping that I would leave. I said that's fine If time permitted then I would move forward with the blow dry and then she started cutting my hair. After being completed she moved me over to another chair and another woman dried out my hair. This whole time no one greeted me no one told me their nameIt was extremely awkward. I went up to pay and the amount that I was charged was outrageous. They charged me $19 for a cut and then $50 for a blow dry. I did not review a break out of the receipt until after I left. I immediately went back in and questioned it there is absolutely nothing posted that says that a blow dry is $50. I asked for a pricing sheet or a telephone number of a manager because it just didn't seem right to me and the woman refused to give it to me and then told me that I wasn't going to get my money back. I said I don't want my money back I want the number of a manager or an owner. She proceeded to tell me that she was a manager and I said OK give me the number of the owner and she refused to give me that or her name. She then proceeded to tell me to leave and I said no I want the name of a manager or owner and she told me she was going to call the cops on me. There was another patron inside of there and we both looked at each other like I cannot believe that she just threatened to call the cops on you. I told her she was rude and unprofessional and that I would be in contact with corporate. I can Not believe that I have not an outlet to inform the owner or the franchise of this horrible experience.
