Second time I used on-line and mobile app to make an appointment but even with open chair they took walk-in before me and I wasted my entire lunch hour. finally had to leave without haircut to get back to work. 5 years of intermittent poor management re appts. Stylists were adequate but management can't keep a consistent staff. Today I did not know any of the 3 stylists. I had the misfortune of getting Lauren. I should have trusted my gut and left but I stayed. She came dragging her feet from the back and still eating when she called me up. Very unprofessional. I was still polite to her but she didn't respond. My cut was simple and she still messed it up. It looked awful. She was even sassy to the elderly that were in there. She needs to find another line of work. She has more of a McDonald's attitude. read more

This place has disappointed for the last time. Sat for over an hour with name on the list. In their incredibly uncomfortable nasty seats. Only to have someone without an appointment called up. When asked why the stylist (if you can call what she does that) says he requested me and I'm off at 5pm. I'm like "who cares. I requested you too. I requested the first available stylist. That includes you. We have a schedule to keep too. Bad way to do business. We will not be returning. Enjoying walking in to Navarre Barber and being greeted and sat immediately. read more

The call ahead thing is really unfair to walk-ins. We stopped in one afternoon, put our names on the wait list, and were told it would be 30 minutes. My two littles waited patiently, but 45 minutes later, they were still waiting because "Call Aheads" kept jumping in the line. I am somebody who is super lax on getting their hair trimmed to keep it healthy. Supercuts is perfect for a trim every two or three months to keep it healthy. Headed over there on a weeknight and got right in. There was one other customer. Lucas was my hairstylist and he was so friendly from start to finish. I really appreciated how kind he was. He was meticulous with matching sections of my hair to make sure it was evenly cut, and he was honestly so kind. He listened to everything I had to say and my hair goals, and didn't push me to do what he wanted to do, which soooo many hairstylists have done to me in this area. It was a nice way to end a very stressful day. I left there looking great and very relaxed. He even used this product that I wasn't going to get (he didn't pressure me), but I left to get some dog food and groceries, and ran back in because my hair was so soft and smelled so good. I just kept running my hands through it lol. Will definitely be going back for regular trims. Super affordable and everyone I met there was very customer service oriented and seemed to like their jobs. :) We only took off an inch and I still got several compliments on my styling today at work. read more

Went in this afternoon and the girl at the farthest right towards the back with long brown hair had a horrible attitude from beginning to end. She cut my daughters hair too short especially when I specifically said we've been trying to grow it out since she was a baby. My daughter who's 8 noticed it after she'd received her cut and complained to me that it was cut way too short. The day was cold and rainy and although I opted for a shampoo and cut with no styling, when she was done her hair was drenched in water. I asked her to at least dry it some more with the blow dryer so that she wouldn't catch a cold. She cut my sons hair next and when she told me she was done with my son's hair, she hadn't done any edges on him at all. I had to tell her what to do and where to cut to make his edges look decent. She seemed annoyed the entire time so I asked her how long she's been working there and she said 1 year and a half. She could've said 2 weeks and I would've believed her more. Garbage haircut. I asked for short trim with medium fade. Received no fade, no trim, but a spotty cut. Too many missed sections to count or comb around. Changed my hairline from tapered to severely rounded, almost bowl like. I had to go get my hair fixed at a real barber. This was my second trip to this location. I first went to Jackie, she was great. Too bad she wasn't there on that day. read more

Here's a little back story as to why this is the best place to get your hair cut in Navarre. My old hair stylist used to work at one of the more expensive salons in Navarre. I was paying $45 for only a cut ( I know, that's crazy expensive) but it was worth it because when you are a woman and you have short hair you cannot afford a bad hair cut. I always heard little negative tid bits about said salon ( it rhymes with Fudio Spindy Pate) but when you find a good stylist you hold on to her for dear life! Long story short my stylist now works at this Supercuts and you too can get an awesome haircut for $14.95! Her name is Kattie and she is truly skilled. I've been getting my hair cut by her for over two years, so plenty of time to have an opinion on the matter. My layers are even, blended and I am always super happy with her haircuts. They were worth every penny and now they are an even better deal. This review comes with one caveat, I cannot vouch for anyone but her at this place as she is my only experience, but ask for her and you won't be disappointed! read more

Just went, and they gave me the opposite of what I wanted. It's so bad I can't even have it uncovered in public. Asked for 3 inches and now I have 1/4 inch, she didn't show me the back because she realized she messed up. Posting pictures but absolutely avoid. I have never hated my hair more in my life than I do now. The lady who did my hair (blonde lady in her 40's or 50's), should absolutely have her license taken away. I look like mr t from the back. If you're not comfortable doing a cut, don't attempt it. Absolutely don't shear a woman's hair off!!! read more

No wonder I haven't been back to this place in a long time !!!! But I wanted to give them another chance. What a disappointment! I made an appointment but when I got there nobody even acknowledged my presence, not a simple hi or hello! I sat down and watched and waited until another person walked in and of course, it's a male so he was greeted! Never again! I walked out without saying anything. Waste of my time. Place is terrible. Staffed with either totally inexperienced stylists or cutters that just flat out don't care about their work. Went in for a cut a few times and always had to make minor adjustments after I got home. On my last visit two of my kids had stripes of uncut hair on back of head, tufts behind ears and I had neck hair half an inch long down to my shirt collar. These cuts were all short with a number 1 guards on the back and sides faded at bottom and tapered into number 5 on top. I'm not a trained stylist and I don't cut hair for money but I am in the military. I have had better work done in 30 seconds on base for less money. I have done a better job on my own head without even a mirror in the field with a battery powered Braun shaver than this salon did with all the tools in the toolbox. It was very akward to stand there and watch stylists do such a bad job. Having to ask them to make corrections after they thought they were done was even more annoying. Then I felt stupid for actually tipping them after all of it. Bottom line: you will regret getting hair cuts at this location. Go anywhere else. read more

I would never go to this place again. Must have gotten the same girl that Kayra C had. No personality. I was in the chair for 5 minutes and all she did was cut the ends off - I could have done as good a job as she did. Did not blow dry my hair. It was soaking wet.
