They can advise or recommend to you regarding your hair cut, if you need it. These stylist have a great personality and I feel that the time they spend on cutting your hair shows how much they care how the end result will look. Set up an online appointment here and upon arrival was informed by the hairstylist on duty that my appointment, according to them, was actually earlier than what I had booked, she had seated an appointment that was actually early for theirs by 10 minutes, and would not seat us during our appointment window, no apology no accommodation just an attitude. Just drive somewhere else. On line it says no wait - walk in and well it might be 45 minutes maybe longer. Extremely rude. Why have an app if it isn't telling the truth!!! Well. It's been about four weeks since my hair was butchered here, and my tears have finally stopped running long enough for me to write this review. I'm used to coming to Supercuts Mililani Martketplace for my eye brow waxing and occasional hair trims, and have never really had any problems. A few weeks ago I decided I needed a hair trim; my hair was touching my butt and I wanted to go a little shorter. I'll start by saying that the girl that cut my hair was nice, but listening and comprehension clearly weren't her strong points. When I got in the chair, I showed her the length I wanted my hair by pointing to my elbow. I specifically stated "I don't want it higher than here. I want to take a little length off but I don't want to go too short. I'm definitely not looking for something as high as my shoulder." *fast forward 30 minutes later* She turns me around to look in the mirror and my hair is above my shoulders. ABOVE MY SHOULDERS. I have never had my hair this short ever and here I was. I wanted to throw myself on the floor, gather up all my hair, and beg for someone to somehow reattach it to my head. I seriously left, got in my car, and cried. Woke up the next morning thinking it was all just a dream, glanced at myself in the mirror, cried some more, then contemplated calling in sick for work and suing Supercuts for lost wages until my hair was a reasonable length and I wasn't walking around looking like Lord Farquaad from Shrek. WHO SCREWS UP A SIMPLE TRIM? I wasn't asking for anything outrageous. It was a trim. It's been a good month and I still can't stand to look at myself in the mirror. Needless to say, I will not be stepping foot back in ANY Supercuts for the rest of my days - for anything. I would rather deal with the inconvenience of driving into town and paying double with someone who will follow my directions. I'm just totally disgusted by Supercuts. We go to Supercuts for my son when he wants a haircut. He doesn't want anything fancy just a trim with his sides faded. Once in a while he'll ask for a spiky front but that's about it, simple but I can't do it myself without giving him rat bites so Supercuts, it is. I do like this location, I can always get an appointment for him. Not like some other places, including the other Supercuts locations that say they have not openings for another 4 hours, yet no one else it there?!? The customer service here is pretty good, I've never had attitude from anyone and they always smile. read more

This was the last place my original hair cutter had worked. I used to follow her just to have a hair cut. Since then, this is the only place that I would get my hair cut. We went here for convenience and pricing. While the stylist that cut my daughters hair was friendly and spoke to my daughter, the cut wasn't what we had intended (partly because of a squirmy 9 yr old). The stylist that cut my hair didn't hardly speak to me, asked me what I wanted, and then cut, cut, cut. She added layers, which I said were fine as long as they knew how to cut layers in curly hair. The layers are almost too short to even pull up into a pony tail now, and when the curls are really emphasized, they stick almost straight out. Next time, I will do my research and find someone that specializes in curly hair. read more

I went here today. I've been here ten months ago and had my hair dyed, highlighted and cut. I love love lived it! Can't remember the gals name that did it other than she know my cousins friend lol. My experience today: I called ahead made an appointment. Walk in - wasn't immediately greeted, then the woman that greeted me was kind of cold. Eh it's the end of the day, people are tired I get it after working three - ten hour shifts myself. Danielle was my hairstylist and like any stylist it take a quick minute to warm up to. She was very nice and easy to talk with. We discussed men, places to go out, the beach, where we are from and such. Back to the hair- first thing I said in defense of my three inch grown out dark brown hair making a line across my dome where it meets my light brown with highlighted hair was "I plan on dying it when before I leave for a wedding in July". She only politely laughed and said "okay a cut then." Long layered cut frming from mid back level to my chin with lots and lots of random layers. She cut it just the way I like it! I love brushing my lovely locks without tearing out 4 strands with every brush! Thank you Danielle! I will be back and requesting you Hun! read more

I love taking my boys here and my boys have been there ever since they were 1 and I just love how they know them by name and always do a great job at cutting their hairs. Shalani and Alyssa are awesome. Shalani does my eyebrows all the time. And always friendly and their salon is clean and neat..My husband will not go to anyone else but Shalani or Alyssa. read more

Supercuts are super prevalent all over Hawaii as the main place to get your hair cut, especially if you're a local, and all the other "high class" locations are for wealthy, out of towners looking for some spa treatment. Since I knew someone that styled hair here, it was an easy choice, after all, don't you want to trust the person cutting off years of growth from your scalp? Alyssa was pretty good, attentive, specific, and capable. My hair cut turned out just about exactly as I wanted it and she was really careful to cut off no more than I asked her to. However. I waited nearly an hour after my original scheduled appointment time to see Alyssa, their plenty of magazines meant I wasn't bored, but boy am I glad I didn't have something planned after my haircut. And Alyssa's detail was appreciated, but slow, so the haircut took far longer than I had the patience to sit in her chair. Despite all that, it was far better than my first Hawaii haircut nightmare could have been and I am so grateful. I don't know how good all the other hairstylists are at Supercuts, but Alyssa was pretty good, so since so many other reviewers seem to agree, I'm thinking she should be your first choice if you're looking for a new stylist! Since I don't know anybody in particular at Supecuts, I turned to Yelp for the reviews. I've read good things about Danielle and I gave it a go. My sister and I got there at 10:30 but was served at 11 o'clock since we didn't call ahead and that was fine. 11 o'clock came and I was hoping to get Danielle and we did! She was very nice and patient to all my sister's request. Just when she thought she was done, my sister asked if she could shorten the back a bit more. She did it without hesitation and with a smile on her face. That right there is good customer service. She did a good job and my sister's hair look great! I give her high marks. A+ read more

Don't go here if you want your hair colored they are very unprofessional. I asked for a color completely different than what I got. It was horriable!If you do go ask for Alyssa she seems like she knows what she's doing. read more
