Definitely tried to talk to us and calm our nerves as it's our firs time doing anything like this. Received a brochure in regards to other add-on services and a list of do's and don'ts. Didn't get to sit down and wait very long before Samantha called me in. She and I hit it right off the bat. Conversation was smooth. We were vibing. The room was clean and well kept. My only thing was it could've been swept up a little bit more as I did see some hair and stuff on the floor near the chair when we walked in. Told her it was my first time and that I was really nervous. But she made the whole process smooth. No pun intended. LOL! I got my first Brazillian, it was definitely nerve racking but she talked with me the whole way through and tried to keep my mind off of it. Worked for some parts and didn't work for others. Not her fault or anything, my pain tolerance is low. LOL! Before I knew it, we were done. Thank the lord! Overall, it wasn't bad. She was great. I MAY do it again. Not sure yet, but I'm definitely open to the idea, for sure. When we were done, she walked me out. Went over a list of do's and don'ts. It was nice. Checked out and paid for my services and left gratuity for her in cash. Definitely will be back and I'll book with Samantha when I consider doing this again.

I called to clarify and I was told to come in at 1:15 even though I had specified that I couldn't originally go at that time. I called the salon instead and spoke with someone at the front desk. The interaction felt awkward and difficult--whether it was a communication issue or a language barrier, the process was not smooth. We eventually handled everything over text. I sent a video showing the exact hairstyle I wanted and was told they could recreate it. Throughout this process, I was repeatedly pushed to add services like manicures, pedicures, and hair coloring, which felt unnecessary and uncomfortable. When I arrived for my appointment, I was greeted by the same person I had spoken with earlier. The check-in was technically fine, but the atmosphere felt cold and mechanical rather than welcoming. I was then assigned to a stylist. Almost immediately, I realized they were working from a different reference video and a different hairstyle than the one I had sent. No one showed it to me or asked for my approval--they just started working. They didn't ask if my hair was clean or prep it properly (no conditioning or sleeking), which resulted in many visible flyaways and a rougher look. Both the salom owner and the stylist were working on my hair at the same time, openly arguing about how to do the style and essentially experimenting on me. I was even told that neither of them really specializes in updos, but they wanted to "try" this one. After several attempts and continued back-and-forth between them, I finally had to intervene and say that I only wanted one person working on my hair. That moment was deeply uncomfortable. The owner looked at me aggressively, pinched my arm twice, and said, "Okay, I understand, okay, I understand." She then gathered all the products she had brought--various holding sprays and texture sprays--and removed them so the stylist couldn't use them. Later, she brought them back selectively, maintaining control from the sidelines. It felt tense, unprofessional, and invasive. Although the stylist continued, the owner kept hovering and interjecting. At no point did anyone ask for my feedback--no "Do you like this?" or "Is this what you wanted?" They simply continued in their own direction. The final result looked like a bunch of hair pinned at the back of my head. I paid and left, but once I got home, I took it all out because I truly didn't like it. It didn't make me feel confident, and that's the whole point of getting your hair done. Overall, I felt unheard, uncomfortable, and treated more like a transaction than a client. The experience lacked communication, professionalism, and care. The owner either needs to trust her stylists to do their jobs or become properly trained herself. As it stands, the environment feels chaotic and controlling, and it's not a place I would return to or recommend ever. Price was $120 just for the updo.

WARNING - IMPERIAL SALON - WARNING WHAT DO YOU THINK OF THIS…read moreABUSE? My wife received a hair salon color treatment at IMPERIAL Salon in Rockledge, FL this afternoon. She had been there last year and was treated well. This year she had a similar experience and the result was nice, but when the "technician" was DONE she announced the price was $278! No warning or fair mention of the price increase. To make matters even worse the technician dripped permanent dye on my wife's Lands End white blouse! Large blotches of dark dye on the collar and on her sleeve without telling her she did it. My wife noticed it at the front desk and they SAID NOTHING. When she got home she noticed even more stains. This was a perfectly white garment. In my opinion, who thinks so highly of themselves that they can charge this much for what they do, especially without the courtesy of a mention of the additional cost? In addition, then spill chemicals on someone without saying they are sorry or offering compensation?? My wife and I feel like she was emotionally mugged. SHAME SHAME and nevermore!!
