I came in to try a micro-needling. The price was good for a first time Groupon micro-needling session and I was skeptical because it was $100. Jo came in and saw me, informed me of what the procedure would entail, was thorough, she took her time, looked at my skin, gave extractions, numbing cream, gave me a sheet mask after the micro-needling procedure and a calming cooling device, did NOT upsell her products, and gave me a sheet mask to take home for free. Ok long review, but after trouble with posting on yelp I felt I needed to because I enjoyed my treatment done by JO. Had my first PRP done with JO!!! I may say her enthusiasm in the work place right away made me feel even more confident in the decision to come to her for this treatment :). The front desk staff greated me accordingly upon arrival, which I may say a much different demeanor than what I had over the phone. Not sure if one of the ladies was having a bad day but before booking my appointment I made a call to the office in hopes of more information on the PRP treatment since I had not previously experienced one such treatment (I.e Downtime, cost, soonest availability, what makes their office different from others, etc). Not sure who I spoke with but the tone of voice in response to my questions made me feel as if I was speaking to someone who was not happy and more so annoyed to speak to future clients. Any who everyone has a bad day or so, we are all human. I just feel as if it were not for Jo's outstanding results and job skills presented on her website that I did my research on, I don't think I would have came here to spend my $800 based on the unwelcoming approach I had over the phone. Now like I mentioned had my PRP done with Jo which I enjoyed very much so!. She is very knowledgeable in her field and with her great personality makes it a great experience to get any sort of treatment done by her. She informed me of what would be the best approach for my skin. She also informed me of the process in which the procedure takes to complete. She made sure the numbing solution was properly applied and effective prior to engaging in the micro-neeedling treatment. The process took about 90 min total and made sure she went over my problem areas on my face. Overall I had no pain and my redness subsided within the next day. Jo made me feel like I was in great hands which you should when you hand over permission to someone needling away at your face haha. She made sure I was comfortable throughout the treatment and asked if I was experiencing any pain or discomfort, which I did not. Anyways she's great go to her! She did send me home with a goodie bag. Within she gave me left over platelet serum from my blood draw to use for the rest of the day on my face. She also sent me home with a hyluranic acid stem cell growth serum to use for the rest of the week, some samples of ANTEAGEMD cytokines, and Skin Medica HA^5 Lipsystem dual pack for my lips; which smooth and plump your lips. Feels great when you apply them on. Anyways my experience with Jo Halliday and the staff at her office was great.
