I had made an on-line appointment with Tesla in the morning and she greeted me at 3 pm when I arrived. She asked me to sit, put the shampoo "robe" on me, asked how my day was going and what I would like her to do with my hair. She measured how much two inches was and showed me how that would look & I agreed that's what I wanted. She cut my hair, gave me a great shampoo (& conditioned it) and then combed it out since I didn't request styling or blow dry. I was in and out in 20 minutes or less, and we had a congenial conversation the whole time. I would recommend Tesla! read more

I get my haircut every two weeks because for me there is nothing better than a fresh cut for some self-care. If you were to ask me before moving to Lompoc if I would ever get my hair cut at a Supercuts I would promptly say heck no my friend. Absolutely not. But there weren't many affordable hair cuts around town, so I gave this place a try. Not only did they end up having a killer deal where I pay a monthly $17.99 for unlimited haircuts, I ended up finding the best hair stylist in town, Tesla. She does a great job on my hair, and when she isn't available, Ruth also does a fantastic job as well. I never thought I would find people I would trust with my hair at Supercuts but they are here, and they are awesome. If you're not a fan of the monthly deal, their haircuts are about $25 and they do have a military and senior discount. They are currently hiring as well! read more

TERRIBLE PLACE Took my 9 yr old for hair cut , the older gray haired lady asked me for a photo reference I pointed at the picture on the wall (a comb over ) She said she didn't know what my sons hair would look like after that What do you mean ? You're telling me you cut hair for a living and don't know how my son's hair will turn out ? It's a simple cut and he gets it done every time every where else . Mid cut she told me she didn't know what lengths to use .. I stopped her after she had already started cutting because she sounded so clueless , asking ME what size clipper to use . Like , I don't cut hair , I don't do this for a living , WHY ARE YOU ASKING ME !!??? I was mind blown how clueless she sounded . The place was completely lonely so no one witnessed it besides my son and she really had nothing to say . She tried calling someone else but what???? You can't cut hair !? This is a hair cut place HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE read more

Tesla is the bomb. My cut is perfect every time. 10 stars in my book. It's easy to get an appointment and I can bring a photo of the style I like and Walla, done. Definitely recommend read more

Tesla is who cuts my hair and she's awesome !! she's in my opinion the best in Lompoc!

Terrible hair stylists, lack of skill, technique. And way way way overpriced. 30 bucks for 5 minutes of terrible cuts. Couldn't even get close to reference photo. Never going to Supercuts again. Absolute garbage read more

Stylist Itzel always does a great job in my hair! I paid for an annual subscription so I can get it cut as often as I want to. Love being able to reserve a spot on the app. read more

UNQUALIFIED,LACK TOWARDS DETAIL. These are just a few words to describe this place not only do they not give you what you want, but they don't care either. I asked for a low taper on the side and just to clean up the neck hairs only for MARTHA to completely mess it up she made the back completely bald not only thatshe didn't even blend my hair and the sides are all patchy. I even said a mullet instead got this disgrace of a haircut read more

I stopped in on Wednesday evening, the place was completely empty. The stylist said she couldn't cut my hair because she was waiting for customers???? I was a paying customer right there ready for a haircut, she refused. I was parked in front of the store on google trying to find another place to get a haircut and 20 minutes later she was still standing there with a blank look on her face. It's sad that in this economy the stylist are lazy and don't want to work, there're definitely costing this location money. read more

Very rude staff. Like ok I understand I'm getting there 30 minutes before you close. But it's really confusing when sometimes they have got me in around the same time I came in at this particular time .. And to tell me with the biggest attitude, high pitch voice and bulging eyes that I came in too late and that I should call the next day but that I'm also taking the same chance as I was In that moment of getting shut down for a damn simple wax... because they might be booked... so I ask her to check if she's booked. And says her system is Locked ... so weird.. but ok This isn't the first time this one staff member or manager has been rude. There's a couple there as far as I've experienced with poor customer service. If you don't like working there that late then let your higher superior know that instead of being unhappy and rude as hell to the customers. Or find another job that better suites your life... read more

I've been a loyal customer for about a year and some change now. I've always had a good experience and it's always an amazing haircut. I've gotten haircuts from everyone in there and they all do amazing work. I prefer to get my haircut by Tesla so I make sure she's working before I go. read more

Since they will not answer their phone to answer a simple question, they really don't deserve additional business. And since they've raised their prices, there is simply no point. Adios!! read more

I made a reservation for this location for 10:30 am. I arrived on but Jennifer suddenly couldn't assist due to her " not having my reservation " i recently relocated to this area. Im not only frustrated about not getting my hair cut it was her nonchalant attitude towards me. Not the way one treats others when you want to earn and retain customers. Not satisfied at all with the level of customer service from this location. read more

Do not go here. This place is horrible, and I don't even think they have their barbers license. They do whatever they want with your hair and charge you at least 30 dollars. I asked for little off and they started doing what they wanted, next thing you know I have basically a buzz cut. This place is horrible read more

Not good. I had a hairstylist named Maria. She rushed through my hair cut and did a sloppy job.

My husband went out to get his haircut last weekend. He reserved a time online and he went out to his appt. When he came back home, I realized the hair stylist didn't even finish his hair cut! Below his ears was buzzed off like usual, but at the top (which is usually just a little bit longer) was still 3 in long on one side! He told me the hair stylist kept going back and forth to answer phone calls, but inside it wasn't that busy. We were heading out of the house to a party so he didn't have time to go back. I had to fix it myself. Very disappointed, won't be using Supercuts again. read more

Came back in July 10th 5 months later my hair was a mess I'm glad they reopened! they are safe when it comes to Corona virus protocols. The two stylists working were very obvious about the fact that they were busy this day and had no patience for anyone. They didn't really bother to say hi and didn't acknowledge my 7yo daughter at all (it was an appt for her), even when she said hi or goodbye or gave the stylist a tip straight in her hand. Both times that I've gone in here they have terrible attitudes and even when I try to describe or show pictures of what we want, they ask for exact stylist-type terminology. When I went in September, I literally left crying because the stylist was so mean. She was also there today, but was not the one who cut my daughter's hair. We are seriously never going back again. Those two women either hate their jobs or hate serving customers. Either way, they are in the wrong field. I was so frustrated after my daughter's haircut because they didn't even touch the front part of her hair (just brushed it instead of trimming). Definitely a wasted $23+$5 tip. I went to another stylist named Zoe in Vandenberg Village, and she not only fixed the errors of the Supercuts bad cut (my kid had 2 weird layers, no smoothing), she actually treated us like friends. A "night versus day" experience!! read more

Schedule an appointment for 330 two hours prior. When I got there at 330 they told me it would be an additional 30-45 minute wait. When I told them I have an appointment they said that they hadn't even gotten to the 3:00 appointments yet. They suggested I come back another day as they still had six people in front of me. Why make an appointment if I still have to wait that long. Poor customer service. You lost a customer. read more

Total ghetto. Lazy staff who dont even speak to you. I was told to arrive at 530 when I called in at 3 pm. I waited 45 minutes. They just want to do quick mens haircuts. I wont return. I was spending $60 a month or more on products here. They have lost my business and I will pass the word on to everyone I know to avoid this terribly run and staffed business. read more

Razor jockeys. If you need a standard military hair cut, this place is FINE. On a men's haircut, I asked the attendant to thin out my hair and leave 2 - 3 inches on the sides and back. She pulled the razor & asked me what size I wanted. I stupidly said, "I usually get a scissor cut, please use the biggest size you have, if I need it shorter we can take it from there right?"... As soon as she buzzed off the temple, I exclaimed "that's much shorter than what I anticipated." She finished the cut and knew I was disappointed. She offered to give me the cut for free. I told her that it was a learning experience for me as well. In the end she deeply discounted my hair cut. Very nice people. They do their job. Can anyone recommend a barber or salon in Lompoc who can cut and thin out men's hair without a razor? read more

Horrible haircut for 6 yo boy. I wish I remembered her name. The stylist was extremely rude and lacked all customer service abilities. Tbh it seemed like she was under the influence of something. She did not listen to our request of what he wanted or what he didn't want and rushed in creating an uneven sloppy bowl cut look on top and completely bald sides. He was left teary eyed and instantly lost confidence. Really awful experience. Never going back. read more

Wow, not really sure what's with the negative reviews. Just had an amazing experience at this Supercuts with Rhaenda and she was so nice and did a great job on my hair. This place can't cut hair, there just ppl simply hired to put clippers threw your hair. Good service, but the price caught me off guard. The price board states Color for Men and Women $25 and up. I have very short hair and expected to be charged in the lower spectrum. I was charged $60. In the past, a cut was included in a color appointment, but today I got hit with another $17.50. When I questioned the cost, I was told women's color STARTS AT $50! (again, really short hair but not charged the minimum?) Supercuts - consider updating your price board so people know what they are going to be paying. read more

I usually go to the supercuts in santa maria but recently moved to lompoc so decided to try it out, plus my boyfriend went here and said everyone was nice. The atmosphere was pleasant and the wait was only like 20 mins for a walk in. However, when I was called up my stylist, this hispanic lady whose name I think was Lourdes or something was rude when she seated me and when I stated I wanted a deep conditioning in addition to my cut she gave me even more attitude and did a very fast and messy wash, water all over my face and top, didn't even bother to put the smock on me. She made comments about my hair that were not nice and was just trying to rush through me to get to the next client. Overall her attitude and rudeness really turned me off and I will most likely not return to this salon again, or at least check to see if she is working before. read more
