Worst hair cut of my life. Went in for a trim and walked out the worst cut ever it was so bad that the store manager had to try to recut to salvage it. The girl that cut my hair was answering the phone and logging people in while cutting my hair and must have forgotten what I had asked for. Had both of my kids come here for cuts before Christmas and What a mistake that was. Told them what I wanted for each kid. The first kid, literally said not to take too much off the top and she cut the whole damn thing kids crying in the seat, she didn't even finish, sides are long and stray hairs everywhere didn't even finish the sides or anything. Second kid, line is crooked and looks like patches of hair is missing. Do these people even have their license to cut?! And then the nerve to charge full price on the kid she didn't even finish cutting bc she botched it completely. had to go to another place to fix it, no wonder why this place was empty DO not go here read more

Editing the post: the manager reached out and apologized and offered to try to fix my hair without taking more length which I will give a shot. I am always grateful to places that try to rectify the situation. And am hopeful for a better experience. I didn't think super cuts still had the reputation of "if you go there you will get your hair screwed up" but I was wrong. I have 2 young kids and a 3rd on the way, I wanted to get my hair trimmed since it was Mother's Day and I hadn't gotten it cut in a year, but as it was a Sunday, all the other salons were closed. My hair was long, past my breasts, I went in and asked for a trim with long layers and a simple face frame. Well the first cut into the face frame was deep and short and it just got worse from there, but she left the long hair...Basically she had me walking out with a mullet. I went home and dried it myself because I didn't want to pay for a blow out as the trim was already $30 and I could tell it wasn't great. I came back within 10 minutes and all the stylists knew. I still can't believe any of them let me walk out like that. I asked her to cut it so it blended and made sense, well my hair is now to my collarbone and its still pretty choppy on one side, but I just couldn't let them go any shorter. They asked for my information in case a manager wanted to call, which I expected because I was clearly upset but trying to put on a brave face for the girl cutting my hair. No phone call, no apology either. I lost about a foot of hair that day. what a terrible experience that still needs to be fixed when it grows out a bit more. read more

I knew I was in trouble when my " stylist " had to ask for help on how to trim a simple face frame cut. I had never been to Supercuts before so I called them and asked them if I needed an appointment. They told me that I did so I made an appointment. When I showed up at that time I saw three people working there. The thinner dark hair girl and a guy were in the back. They were making noises and doing something. I told the plump blond girl who I was and I waited. When the other two came out of the back they told her to give me the haircut and had some discussion. She seemed confused as I told her what I wanted which made me concerned. She seemed a bit disoriented as she started. The blond girl kept going back to her and asking her questions. So I asked the dark hair girl who is in charge and she told me that she is the manager. I asked her how much experience this blond girl had. She told me that the girl had five years experience, but she sure did not act like it. At one point a person came along and told her that the back was uneven. The entire experience seemed like it was her first time. It was evident that I was lied to from the manager on down. When she considered herself done the back was still uneven, my sideburns were uneven, the top front was a mess and my hair was literally dripping wet and this so called manager could care less as long as they got their money. As far as I am concerned they are liars and thieves. Someone could get a better haircut from a blind monkey on crack with arthritis and a stump. They should not be allowed to handle scissors or be around people. This place should be called Super ripoff, Super terrible, Super incompetent and on and on. read more

I think I got the worst haircut of my life here. The girl must have been very new. She had very Long blonde hair with pink streaks, & SHAVED off all of my FRINGE with a BUZZER!!! I literally had to grab her arm and make her stop so I walked out with one 'side ear fringe' or what guys would call a side burn... I guess it's my fault I was too horrified to say anything... I used to go to Tres chic but wanted to save a couple bucks in between on the trim...BIG MISTAKE. No lie the girl SHAVED the hair off around my ONE ear!!!!! Was going for the other one too but I stopped her just before she Started the next part. she did the first so fast I couldn't even stop her in time. I had a long pixie cut that was really cute but sometimes I would clean up the baby hairs with a razor on the back of my neck she moved the razor from the back of my neck and then just VERY INTENTIONALLY buzzed a huge chunk off the side of my head!!!! This was A little while ago but it's not often that the hair place just randomly shaves the side of your head without you asking so it's kind of been eating me up and now that I'm on yelp I wanted to say something....I mean she let me walk out with a big square ended chunk of completely random hair shaved off (and nothing I actually HAD asked her to do) didn't try to blend it to create new fringe or anything, because she couldn't!!! She had just shaved off way too much it took me months and months to grow back mind you I never asked her to use the buzzers she took them out and said yeah you could just clean my neck hairs with it. Which she did, Before basically just getting this look in her eye looking at my Fringe ( hairline around my face flowy hairs around my ears and Hairline )and then attacking it with the buzzer... ugh nightmare. Hope they're educated now. read more

I usually go home from getting my hair cut and feel like I need to "fix" it because something has been left too long, or the resulting cut isn't what I asked for... I was on business in Southern NJ and had an hour to kill while waiting on an appointment. I needed a haircut very badly and I'm very particular as to who cuts it...and I lost my regular stylist because he passed away after 35 years of him cutting my hair. I stopped here and decided to take a shot...I had this important appointment and wanted to look my best. Upon walking in I was promptly greeted by Erika who put me at ease after a short conversation. She washed my hair, gave me a fantastic scalp massage, and then cut my hair while listening to my instruction as she took her time to make sure she granted my wishes. I'm used to a highly skilled cut and have been spoiled over the years...and I paid handsomely for them. Erika matched that level of skill with ease and I couldn't be happier! Her conversational skills were professional and very upbeat, she has great energy and it showed in her work. She even gave me a fragrant hot towel on my neck at the end to remove the lose hairs which was appreciated because I was still working. I left feeling great and will be going back to have this young lady cut my hair again! I'm still amazed that this is a chain-type salon delivering this level of service. read more
