I've been coloring my hair for years, and every time, the stylist has colored my hair first, then washed and cut it. This woman, however, washed my hair first, applied something that looked like gel, and then blow-dried it. I thought that was odd, but I didn't say anything. Then she applied the color. While the color was processing, she told me she was going next door to her house. I was alone in the salon for at least 30-40 minutes. During that time, I started to feel a burning sensation all over my scalp. When she finally returned and washed out the color, not only had she butchered the haircut, but I also had blisters all over my scalp. This happened over two weeks ago, and I'm still in pain. Do not go to this lady! I don't want to report her to the cosmetology board, but honestly, she should not be allowed to work on anyone. I had to give her a star but she doesn't deserve one.

They ladies here fixed the horrible highlights and cut like it was nothing. And I have very thick, long hair. Everyone is so sweet. I usually take appointments with whoever is free because I schedule last minute, but everyone here is so talented. I have zero complaints. They do amazing bridal/wedding parties. All 3 of my sisters have had their bridal parties get hair done here the morning of the weddings (one in '12 and 2 in '15). I've had my hair half braided, half curls and an all up-do curls and it all looked amazing. They really listen to your ideas and what you want and if you're unsure they help you make a decision without being pushy. Can't recommend this place enough.

Since my hair was still damp, I hadn't yet seen the full extent of the damage. After washing and drying it, I found singed and broken hair sticking up at the top of my head. I had already paid a $137.50 deposit and was charged another $202 at checkout. The initial deposit was applied, and the charges included the weft installation that was never completed. When I spoke with the owner, Alexis, she agreed that the charges did not appear correct and promised to refund my credit card. I also sent her a photograph of the damage, which she acknowledged seeing, and she agreed to refund the entire service. A few days later, Heather, the "salon coordinator," called and revoked the owner's promised refund, offering only $75 for the extensions that were never done in the first place. Heather said the situation was not the salon's fault because I "voluntarily" stopped the service. She ignored why I left: the color had already taken 3 hours, required correction, remained incorrect, and left me facing at least another hour in the salon. To boot, she justified the time it took by saying, "Clients will sit here 7, 8, sometimes 9 hours." I still tipped the stylist 20% because she was kind and had put in effort. My politeness was later used against me as "evidence" that I had been satisfied with the service. Heather claimed that footage of me smiling at checkout proved it. I smiled because I was being polite and did not want to embarrass the stylist. My hair was still partially damp, so I had not yet seen the breakage. For comparison, another salon later corrected the color, installed 60 extensions, fully blow-dried my hair, and finished everything in less than 2.5 hours. The stylist was pleasant and made an effort. My issue is with the incorrect color, damaged hair, unclear charges, incomplete service, straw-grasping reasons to revoke my refund, and Heather's absolutely smug and controlling attitude.

I never put any heat on them when i had them and she made that up. I actually was not upset that she was closing, as this was the last time i was going to use her anyway. When I first left the salon I said goodbye and good luck with everything. When I came home I noticed how uneven the extensions were since she didn't even blend them. When i came back in she was very rude to me and said my extensions were broken. She had dyed my extensions with harsh products (something that any hair dresser should know not to do) resulting in damage and cannot own up to her mistake. After her being rude, I left without saying goodbye. Hopefully a better business will be moving into that space. The cameras that she says are in the space would have shown me flinching and being hurt by her pulling my extensions out. Thats now how it is done Also her mentioning my own hair being damaged is irrelevant, as i was talking about extensions that after she dyed them with the wrong products were damaged. Person os not to be trusted, she talks about customers and past employees of hers and it is just very unprofessional. She has ignored my request to get some of my money back and now I need to see how I can get my hair to grow back after the hair loss.
