I live in Hoboken and still come down here to get my hair done. My sisters, my mom and I have been coming here since I can remember. I first stopped in after my old salon ruined my hair. They ladies here fixed the horrible highlights and cut like it was nothing. And I have very thick, long hair. Everyone is so sweet. I usually take appointments with whoever is free because I schedule last minute, but everyone here is so talented. I have zero complaints. They do amazing bridal/wedding parties. All 3 of my sisters have had their bridal parties get hair done here the morning of the weddings (one in '12 and 2 in '15). I've had my hair half braided, half curls and an all up-do curls and it all looked amazing. They really listen to your ideas and what you want and if you're unsure they help you make a decision without being pushy. Can't recommend this place enough. read more

went here for first time for hair cut. had a picture of a very nice blunt bob cut to show to cutter jennifer, but she didnt give me a blunt bob. instead, she gave me some lame trendy cut with the nape shaved, hair in back cut really short, and sides long and curling into cheeks... not at all like pic. it took her 20 mins. probably because she's done it a thousand times and knows little else. she was also rough with the wash and got more hair down my back than on the floor. the entire experience was disappointing. i will not go back read more

This salon is very organized, clean, and well put together. The staff is so sweet and the service is amazing. Went in for highlights. Came out with orange hair. The roots were horrendous and mixed with yellow. Owner did not want to assist. My hair was simply fried and dead looking after their work. She said her hair stylist time was more important. This is a one and done place. Do not go here. You'll be out of your money and have horrible hair then before you went in. Worst dye job ever! I walked out and looked like bozo the clown - all that for 180+ tips. Would never return here. And they didn't care to make it any better. When I did come back for them to fix it, I was treated horribly, the actual hairdresser (Michele) - did not care that I was unhappy. When their "fix" was done, they put me under the hair dryer...what does that tell you???? So rude...made me feel like an idiot. I am glad that others have not had the same problems that I have; maybe I was unique...but the hairdresser is the professional, and if they could not do the job, they should not have taken on my hair. It took me months to get my hair back in shape, just keep cutting it and doing extra conditioning. Oh well....learned my lesson. This review is from 9 months ago. They will probably remove it, just like they removed it from their Facebook. read more

I was so unhappy after visiting this salon. I found the website and chose my stylist after reading the detailed descriptions. My girl was a "color expert". I simply asked for light brown highlights throughout my head. Well, all I got was light brown highlights for an INCH at the top of my head...nothing throughout. After visiting the salon I received an email from the costumer care person asking me about my experience blah blah blah...so I politely responded saying everyone was friendly and nice, however my hair was nothing like what I asked for. Two weeks later and still no response..thought it was very rude and unprofessional especially since they contacted me first as a follow up....VERY VERY VERY Unhappy! read more
