I've been going to Courtney for 3 years now and she has done a great job on my long layered cut every time. I've been to a lot of these low-priced salons in the past, where you never know what you'll get, and I can say that Courtney is a rare gem. She has boatloads of talent and could actually work at a more upscale salon if she wanted to, but loves working as a stylist and manager here. I hope she never leaves! And, to respond to other reviews claiming that this place employs racists, I can tell you that isn't true at all. TL;DR: Courtney and her crew keep this place running on good vibes and good looks. Every time we visit Super Cuts, it's a great experience. That's not easy to say when you're bringing in two boys who see haircuts as a complete waste of time. But Wendy has been incredible with them. She's quick, kind, and somehow manages to leave them smiling every time. That alone is enough to keep us coming back. On our last visit, I finally chatted with Courtney, the young woman who's there nearly every time we are. Now I know why things run so smoothly. Courtney is the manager, and it all clicked. She's always upbeat, always working hard, and brings such a positive energy whether she's on the floor or behind the scenes. This place is run by bigots, I will tell you why. Despite coworkers at a nearby business telling me 6 months ago to never go there, I needed a fast haircut, I set up an appointment online, for an hour away, also calling and they said they were having a slow day when I spoke to them on the phone. On my lunch hour I went in, there were 3 stylists. 2 sitting in salon chairs on their phones, one doing a customers hair. I AM a minority. I saw how they looked at me when I came in. With disgust. I told them I had an appointment. They stated they had no appointments. I showed them on my phone and they said the site had a glitch & that the other stylists were not working. I left. I heard them say something negative about me when I left. Today, same exact thing. I went in at 11 am, there was one stylist. There was not one customer in there. She asked if I had an appointment I said no, she said she could fit me in in 2 and a half hours. I stated there was no customers there. When I was leaving, a white woman walked in. The same exact stylist asked if it was a walk in and she said come on in and took her to a salon chair!!! This literally is the second time. I went to great clips, got a great haircut and treated like a human being. Never go here. Coworkers told me I dodged a bullet and that they do awful work there. I'll never forget this . read more

My teen daughter went in for highlights and came home crying with orange hair and a weird root line. It's beyond bad. Another stylist actually stepped in during the process because my daughter's stylist clearly had no idea what she was doing. They gave her a discount but still charged her. I was a past client of a very expensive salon. After paying $250+ to go gray and it all falling out in 4 days I decided I needed to make a change. My mother in law recommended Super Cuts. I was a little apprehensive as they were much cheaper than other salons and gave me a low quality vibe. I was so wrong. Erica did an amazing job on my hair and my daughter's hair. My blonde looks amazing and my cut is the best cut I have had in years. My daughter got rose gold highlights and they look phenomenal. My foreign exchange student had a different stylists (I don't know her name) and she did a great job dying her very dark hair blue (a very labor intensive process). For my daughter and I the total was $170. That is less than I have ever paid just for myself. Plus, the staff is super fun! I highly recommend this location! read more

I had a nice haircut from a lady the other day. I don't know her name but she is slim with a couple of tattoos. I decided to give her another chance as she did not do a good job the previous time; however, I discovered that the directions for my hair that they store in their database were not accurate. This place has been good to me, but the last haircut was by a young woman that was slim and had tattoos that mindlessly ran the clippers over my head instead of giving me an actual haircut. The whole process took about 5 minutes. It was an experience of total apathy by this stylists. I was livid but it was too late to say anything. I don't think I'll be back. read more

My friends and family have been going to this location for the past 7 years. We love the consistency we find here. Courtney has been the manager for many years and sets the tone for a friendly, welcoming experience. Everyone is welcome here and I love that I can either call ahead or go online when I am ready for a cut, and save my place in line. I know some have complained about interruptions, that the phone needs to be answered and the staff needs to walk away, or that they take the time to great EVERY person that walks in the door, but if you are the one calling, or walking in, you appreciate that greeting. No receptionist, but that's what keeps the price down and the professional personal service, keeps us coming back. read more

Dropped in here to get my son's hairs cut. The Barberess did a good job shaving off mounds of hair from my 14 year old sheep dog. I'm taking two stars off because like some previous reviews stated, stopping in the middle of someone's haircut to check someone else in is poor customer service to the individual you're currently serving. This has become the go to place for the kids haircuts. The staff is friendly and knows their business. The only thing I do not like is that they stop in the middle of your haircut to go check people in at the counter. Seriously get a receptionist or go check people in when your done with the person your working on. I went for a needed haircut last week and got a bob one, I came back this Wednesday morning to get some highlights and the lady there (blond and slim) was the only one at the time and said she can't do it, I asked her if later that day and she said no that I will call to call the manager the next day, I called and got an appointment for Friday afternoon, I waited for 45 mins while they were giving preference to the haircuts, I said I have to go and another stylist finishing with a client said I could reschedule I said ok, then the blond slim stylist finished with her client and then the question was asked by the other stylist to her, hey you are going to be here tomorrow morning you can do her hair, she literally rolled her eyes and made a body sign that was too much but said ok, I said she doesn't seem to want to do it, the other stylist said she's fine just tired, then that blond stylist asked me so you just want the Mohawk right? I said everything but I felt very offended by her saying Mohawk ( when I thought they did and was clear I had a bob haircut) , I got the appointment but I canceled later at night because I don't want that same person that has not been very attentive to help me and who knows what kind of job she will do on me,, not sure her reasons behind but it was very poor customer service, the worse I have ever had in a hair salon. read more

I've been to this particular Supercuts twice now. I badly needed a hair cut but I'm so damn cheap about such things so I ended up here after spending too much at Target. I described what I was after, with no picture to go off of, and not only did the stylist (Krystal) do it, but she did it expertly and quickly. The cut turned out so well, I really couldn't have imagined it better. They may be a little under staffed right now but they are super friendly and generally make going there a great experience. Sure, it's a chain and it has a generic atmosphere but the staff is so great that you don't even notice. I've really been so pleased with their service that I don't even want to go to one of those frilly, posh salons. Plus, their prices are so great, I go there for waxing and may even get my hair colored this fall. The location is kind of tucked away and traffic in that area can often suck. It's still worth the trip for the price and service. read more
