I had a good hair session. The stylist was great. I loved the end result. My hair looked beautiful. Paking can be challenging. This plaza does not have enough parking for the business next door. The people donating things next door park all over and it is difficult to navigate around them. Depending on the time you get here there may not be parking available. My low score was the apointment scheduling. I used the app and it seems they dont go by the app. It was first come first serve. Two of us had apointments booked on line and said something and they said they are not going by the app at this moment. They did an hour later. It was frustrating. read more

There was a scene in "Seinfeld" when Jerry was at a car rental counter and was told by the representative that his reservation couldn't be honored because they were out of cars. The rep got snippy when Jerry tried to explain the concept of a reservation. She replied, "I know what a reservation is." Jerry countered with," I don't think you do. If you did, I'd have a car. See, you know how to take the reservation. You just don't know how to hold the reservation." Welcome to Supercuts at Deerfield Center. They know how to take a reservation. They just don't give a flying fig about honoring it. For the second time in the past few months, my reservation time was ignored. The first time, I had to wait 25 minutes while the two stylists -- that's a kind description of people who buzzsaw your hair off in five minutes -- served people who had come in off the street. This time, I arrived at the exact time of my reservation and, as instructed on several reminder texts I received during the morning on the Supercuts app, announced I was there for my 10:30 haircut. The stylist, who had just started working on a customer while a woman sat in the waiting area, informed my there would be a wait, because there were two people ahead of me. I said , "But I have a 10:30 reservation." She told me she knew I had a reservation, but that I would have to wait until she took care of the other customers. I explained to her this had happened once before, and asked why Supercuts asks people to make a reservation if they had no intention of serving you when you arrived. She said she had to follow the rules. So, it seems the rules are you can make a reservation, but anyone who walks in off the street will be taken care of before you. At that point, I said, "Ok. I'll take a walk for a half-hour, but when I come back, you have to take me before anyone else who is waiting here." Again, she said she couldn't do that and had to follow the rules. That's when I told her I was going to write about these "rules" on social media, which got a nasty reply from her and some fellow sitting in a back area of the salon. To sum up, not only did I waste my time arranging a reservation and then traveling to the shop, I was subjected to juvenile taunting as I left. Obviously, I am through with Supercuts. I'm sure they will not miss my patronage, but Supercuts headquarters in Minneapolis would be wise to make some changes. I suggest senior management might counsel their employees throughout the country to treat their customers with a lot more respect. One other bit of advice: If your employees can't understand or have no intention of honoring reservations, stop listing reservation times on your app. read more

Today I went to get my eyebrows done. Let's talk service first- the woman who did my service consistently missed spots when cleaning up my shape and blamed me when she made one brow thinner by mistake by saying it was my eyebrows and then she blamed her glasses/vision which is alarming by itself especially while handling hot wax near my eyes. She was getting wax in my newly done hair and used the same wax sheet multiple times in a row. I watched with a mirror after we were cleaning up her mistakes. The eyebrows turned out okay and I can fix them at home no problem. NOW, let's talk about her mentioning her coworker in the other room who was servicing a man's hair. The man speaks Spanish and the coworker was speaking to him in Spanish as well. Please keep in mind that us 4 are the only ones in the shop. Raquel constantly mentioned how she's okay with them speaking Spanish but she said it's "all day" exasperatedly. I mentioned that it's fine when people talk in their native tongue and she said "people" come in and complain about it and even after I said those people must be miserable and they should be allowed to talk to each other ESPECIALLY WHEN SPANISH IS A PROMINENT LANGUAGE IN SOUTH FLORIDA. She asked me if I'm Spanish because I wasn't taking her side. When I said no, but I speak it, she wanted to backtrack and said people complain all the time and she was trying to make me feel comfortable. I'm a white woman. She assumed because I wasn't okay with her behavior, I must be Hispanic/Latina. She kept complaining about them speaking Spanish for the entirety of my appointment and when I asked for her name at the counter after paying, she followed me outside and doubled down that others complain that we are in America and people should speak English. Terrible experience. She never took accountability for my eyebrows being messed up or the racism she spewed. Don't come here. Never coming in again as long as Raquel works here. read more

I was able to visit to this establishment for the first time today. Incredibly professional and cordial, even more impressive in the throes of our phased in Covid world. Made an appointment. Entered with minimal delay. Establishment adhering to social distancing, allowing only three patrons in at a time, donning masks and doing incredible work at a wildly reasonable price. All the staff (Elizabeth cut my mane) were so pleasant and engaging and clearly happy to be back. Couldn't give them a high enough review! It was a beautiful experience. Having just moved back to Florida ( my home state ) I was in need of a quality haircut that wasn't going to break the bank. I walked into Supercuts in Deerfield Beach and was greeted by a warm and friendly staff. I waited only 10 minutes to have my hair shampooed, cut and styled by Rose. Rose was the sweetest hair dresser I have ever met. She was so meticulous with both the shampoo and cut I felt like I was in a high-end salon. She did not rush to finish quickly even when it became busy and she had to greet customers and answer the phone while still tending to me. I felt like I was truly being pampered and will recommend Rose to everyone And go back specifically to her. I drove to my usual barber to find out he was out of town. I desperately needed a haircut so this sudden news deeply saddened me, but luckily while I was driving home I saw the Supercuts and thought why not give them a chance since they were having a 10$ haircut special.I was happily greeted by multiple employees immediately upon entering and was told Rose would be cutting my hair. At first glance I was Leary of getting my haircut because Rose is a older lady and most of my barbers are younger people familiar with my hairstyle, but five seconds of sitting in the chair immediately eased my mind.Upon sitting down you can see Mrs. Rose is a veteran Barber/hairstylist she has awards for 15+ years with Supercuts and cuts hair with the steadiest hands I've ever seen. My only problem with the experience is I believed the haircut was going to be $10 do to the special and it came out to $16 and some change,I didn't question it though and even tipped more because I believe the experience Rose brings is worth it.All in all I left the salon super happy with the result of my haircut and anxious to return knowing I found a barber I can trust. read more

HORRIBLE -3 stars ...12 boos---I cant find a steady stylist here in FL. HORRIBLE !!! RUDE !!! Worst cut ever.....uneven....its a damn pixie cut!!!! Long on top.....short EVERYWHERE else....wound up looking like 3stooges with a part.....ughhh ......Have tried a few of them. THEY all talk to each other in ?? language it is.....and one dresses like a hooker. NEVER AGAIN....beware (marlena) BAD. Worst cut ever. Absolutely terrible. I don't know where they get these people. first person started with such a bad haircut on me I changed mid cut to one that spoke english. Not a good move, I ended up walking out with 1/2" hair on the left and 1 1/2" hair on the right. Of course I brought it up to her and she said she measured it with the comb and it was same length??? Normally I get a good cut at Supercuts. This time they cut my hair so short that it looks like it was cut for a man. They said they would take one inch off but believe me it was cut much shorter. AWFUL!!!! ... When I got there, 4 people were "working" and 2 customers were in the chairs getting haircuts. Despite this, the 2 employees not with customers seemed to have ZERO interest in helping me. They continued to restock supplies on the front shelves (which were already 95% full), rearrange window signs, and basically do busy-work that (IMO) could have been done at any other point - or 1 of them could have worked on while the other person helped me! But no, I was asked to wait ... And during the 15 minutes I sat there, I observed an elderly female employee do a very questionable job on a man who seemed to be getting relatively easy cut (and it took her FOREVER!) ... Growing more annoyed with each passing minute I had to wait - I got on Yelp and read the other reviews of this store. I can see why it's only averaging 1 Star!!! ... I got up and left - went across the street to Hair Cuttery where I was taken immediately by a very nice / professional stylist and got a great cut.
