Tldr: I'll take Sam anyday. Tiffani, I'll pass on Sam is an absolute angel and life saver. I came in looking to get curtain bangs after swearing off bangs in middle school when I ended up looking like Justin Bieber. I came with reference photos and explained what I was looking to do and Sam was super understanding and listened. Throughout the cut, she kept checking in and seeing if the style and length was what I wanted. I left excited with the new cut but felt like something was slightly off once I got home. I eventually came back to the salon and she already had a feeling I wanted to go shorter so we cut it shorter and I was so happy (video 1, photos 1,2,3). My confidence exploded and I felt great with the new look. Two months later, I come in to get a trim on the bangs and Tiffani took me to her chair. I had asked for a jaw length trim and she asked if I wanted it blended and I said yes. I was in and out pretty quick and it looked okay at the salon while my hair was dry and a little curly but I didn't realize how choppy, uneven, and unblended they looked until I went home, took a shower, and flat ironed them (photo 4). If you had seen the original way Sam did the beautifully feathered blend of the bangs into the front hair pieces, you'd understand why I had such a problem this time. The 5 stars is for Brittney. She cut 6in off my hair (a lot of is being old color from over a year), gave long layers which were blended well, and then textured the ends so it didn't look choppy. I'm not sure how long she's been doing hair, but I can tell it's been a long time based on how my hair looked when I got home and flat ironed my hair and that's when I new she's definitely a pro. I felt comfortable talking to her while cutting my hair, where in the past I usually won't talk to my stylists because I'm scared they would mess up while cutting my hair because of distraction. I received the worst haircut of my life at this salon. I believe the stylists name is Tiffany. She asked me what I wanted and I said face framing and layers. She convinced me to get the "butterfly cut" and assured me that she had done it many times before and that her clients loved it. She assured me I would get exactly what I wanted as a butterfly cut is the name for the style I wanted. Once she finished the cut, everything looked fine as my hair was wet and starting to curl into its natural pattern. Once it had completely dried, something looked off but I couldn't put my finger on it. It wasn't until I got home and straightened my hair that I saw how much she messed up the haircut. The layers on the right are like an inch longer than the layers on the left. It looks extremely choppy and not blended. The picture I attached is just of my bangs but the entire cut is uneven from front to back. My ask to the stylist is to please not recommend something you cannot successfully execute and please be thorough in reviewing your work before letting a client leave. read more

I did review on Google and I thought I should do one on yelp. I went to the salon in August for a trim. I had a very long hair passed my butt. I can't explain how many times I told the stylus to only do a trim and long layers. I told her I know my hair is damaged, but I don't care. I'm very emotionally attached to my hair and I cannot have it short. Before I sat down, I showed her the shortest I would go, which was right above my tail bone. She explained to me how damage my hair was and I said that I know and I just don't care I cannot handle my hair being short. or medium. She said she understood and that she wouldn't cut a lot. Then she said that we would cut my hair like hers.(shoulder length) like a butterfly cut . I don't even know what a butterfly cut was. I told her her hair was cute but I didn't say yes to doing her hair. I showed her a picture instead of and it was long layers. She said yeah it would look like that. she then said she would respect my boundaries but that sometimes we have to push boundaries. as soon as she said this, I said no I cannot handle that. I tried so hard to tell her not to go past where I showed her, and I tried my best to put my trust in her. later i get up from the chair and most of my hair is to my shoulders and it doesn't go past my breast. i didn't want to make a scene to i paid and left . i haven't stopped being sad about my hair since. i cried and cried. so much still to this day i'm so sad. i feel violated to have my hair cut when i told her so many times not to cut it short. it is so unacceptable. im not a doll i'm a person and i have to live w this hair now until another 2 years until it grows back out. now I'm noticing new damage to my hair is occurring because I constantly have to style this it is unmanageable to leave by itself because I have a very curly frizzy hair and having so many short layers is not manageable for me. I came to this supercuts because their ratings were the best out of all the other Supercuts surrounding me, but I was wrong. I came in wanting a simple trim, but I came out with literally chunks of my hair cut out. There was a young girl there who cut my hair, I forgot her name but it started with a "K". Before I got my haircut, she was already cutting some one else's hair who had long hair like me and looked like she wanted a trim as well. It looked like she could not execute the haircut well so another hairstylist/manager had to take over for her. I was her next client and I should have taken that as a sign. I was so desperate, I took a chance because i was wanting a simple trim. How hard could that be. I Told her what I wanted. She told me she had to rinse my whole head so she could cut it wet. I asked for a simple "V" trim, I looked at it in the mirror and it looked alright to me. It obviously looked alright, because it was wet. My hair air dried when I got home and I straightened it. I almost cried. My long hair was butchered! I didn't have time to go back and get it fixed! I went there for a haircut, it was sort of an ok kind of hair cut , not detailed as I'm used to but the staff is friendly though.

Went on Wednesday already had made my mind on cutting my daughters hair short!! My daughter got a hair comb stuck into her hair the previous night, she had it so tangled in we had to use some of my husbands tools to cut the comb off but yet we couldn't untangled her hair. Well after attempting detangling spray and coconut oil and leave in conditioner and nothing was working I made up my mind to at least take her to a hair salon so that she could get a decent hair cut. But thankfully Brittney was there and she went above and beyond to save my daughters hair, Brittaney and another hair stylist named Angel we wonderful with doing everything possible to untangled my daughters hair and for 2 hours Brittney did not give up working non stop, while Angel did take other clients and in between being done with them he would help Brittney with my daughters hair. I'm sorry but you guys do a horrible job! As much as I loved the people who actually did my hair, it didn't come out good at all. I thought I'd come in to get it fixed since you messed it up the first time and when I left it looked good but when I straightened it days later it was not blended well at all! It's really sad that the first time I try a place out I get horrible results. I'm scared to even go back and ask for it to once again be fixed because who knows what other mess ups will happen the next time. I can't believe I even paid for this. So much for taking maternity pictures, I can't stand my hair after you touched it. UPDATE: I got my hair fixed after having it messed up twice and I LOVE IT now! I normally go to the new Supercuts on Ontario in corona but this one was convenient since it's right by my work. I went in for just a wash and blow dry. I forgot her name that told me back but the hair wash wasn't the greatest. Anyways so we go back to the chair and she's starting to blow dry it. It took her maybe 20 mins and she said I'm done. I felt my hair and it was still damp and it was frizzy. I told her hey it's still wet.. so she dried it a little more but it still didn't feel dry enough. I was charged $25 and i wasn't even happy with the service. I wish i just went to my regular girl but like i said it was convenient since it was right by my work. I came here for a color consultation and haircut. I ended up walking out with a haircut and product, but no color. Apparently this place does not put bleach on the roots. I asked if they would be able to do a root touchup for my bleached blond hair, but was informed that they can't put bleach that close to the roots. So that was disappointing and a little bit bizarre to be honest. A hair salon that won't touchup your roots? Okay so once I swallowed that I asked for a haircut and thinning out style. I can't remember the name of my stylist but she was very friendly. She did an okay job cutting my hair- I have no complaints. She suggested the Olaplex products for my damaged hair. I purchased the No3 leave in treatment which was extremely pricey $30 for 3.3 fl oz and I have been using it once a week and thus far have not noticed much of a difference. Owell I guess. I visited this shop on a whim last week. I have never been to a SuperCuts store before, but my usual stylist closed up her shop last year. I drove by to check it out, and noticed that they had no one inside, so I gave it a shot. The stylist (I can't remember her name, but she had long blond hair) was very nice and greeted me when I walked in. She washed my hair and did exactly what I needed; gave me a trim, but kept the length. She was fast and friendly, and I feel like I got exactly what I asked for. It was fairly priced (around $50), and I was actually surprised, as I've heard that chain stores like these are all about the numbers rather than the service. I've also heard there's a lot of turnover in these kinds of stores, but the girl mentioned she's been there the whole time they've been open (for about a year). I hadn't really noticed the store before a few days ago when my boyfriend and I went to dinner at Slaters next door. One thing I wasn't excited about (which I guess most people are) is that the chairs you sit in to get your hair washed are massaging chairs. I've never really liked those, so I asked the stylist to turn it off. Aside from that, it was a pretty decent experience. I felt like I was taken care of; I just wish I had gotten the girl's name so I could ask for her again. (Can I do that?) I'll give it another try in a few months. read more

I decided to give this place a try when my usual barber was booked up. I was more than happy with my results! As I recall, my stylist was Brittany. She was friendly from the start! When I described the type of cut I was hoping for, I gave her a string of adjectives that were somewhat vague. She knew what I was going for and ran with it!! The experience as a whole was quality! The cut itself, the shampooing, and the products they used were all great! Brittany even offered to apply a bit of beard oil to my beard, which I gladly accepted. Not the best at military cuts. They didn't seem to know what the standards are in the military, so my husband just explained it to them and he's had decent cuts ever since.
