I've been getting my hair cut by Erika for a few years now. She's nice, friendly, and excellent at her job. She came to the Brick Store from Lanoka Harbor a few months ago and was apologetic and said not to worry about making the trip there (35 minute door to door drive for me). After a few cuts from others and at other locations I made the trek to Brick. Well worth it. Erika is the best and it's a good store. Store is clean, everyone is friendly, the wait time on the app is spot on. Good place to get a haircut. read more

I used to go here but stopped when I found the Supercuts in Lanoka Harbor gave better cuts. But then the girl that cut my hair moved to this Brick location, Erika. Now I go here again. Not only do I get a good cut, but the whole vibe is now different....more professional and friendly. Whatever changed here recently...keep doing it! I basically go to Supercuts because it's convenient. But not anymore. Wasn't going to write a review but got a haircut on 12/30 from a woman. Forget her name just know it was her birthday. I get my hair tapered in the back (where it gets shaved down to a 0). She cut my hair everything was great blah blah. Flash forward to when I'm on my way to the airport for vacation and my friends tell me whoever cut my hair shaved a HUGE chunk out of the back of my head. Things happen but she didn't even tell me. Thumbs down - I hope you had a terrible time on your birthday. And I regret giving you extra tip because it was your bday. read more

I go here every few weeks. I'm a simple hair cut. I call ahead and they usually have me in within 5 minutes of the time I come in. Over all, I have had good experiences. My advice is to call ahead. read more

I have been going here since 2006. I am officially done going here now. It started with walking in to having one person ahead of me. The girl said it would be a few minutes. 45 minutes later and I'm still sitting there waiting for my haircut. Unrelated but nonetheless disturbing the older woman next to me starts to clip her nails. I got up and put my coat on waiting to be at least acknowledged for my apparent frustrations of waiting endlessly when the place was not busy at all but alas my frustrations went unbeknownst to the workers who were still working on the same cuts they had started 45 minutes ago. I never leave reviews but I had to for this place. I had made an appointment but still had to wait 40 minutes to get into a chair which didn't bother me too much but after everything else this was just the beginning. When I finally was called back my hairdresser didn't even clean the hair from the previous customer or sanitize any of the tools she used. During my haircut the hairdresser cut off much more than I had asked for. She also left to help another hairdresser and used the comb she was using on my hair on the boy the other woman was working with. When she came back over to me she continued to use that same comb. This back and forth happened more than once within my 15 minute haircut. Then when I went to pay with my credit card my hairdresser said the cost was $25. When I looked at the machine to put my card in she was trying to charge me $82 and thought I wouldn't notice! Worst haircut experience of my life and I'm just happy I don't have lice after this. read more

This place was very professional and clean. They had more than enough staff and we're not very busy on a Sunday afternoon. They had very friendly staff and they took me in about 5 minutes after I called 10 minutes ahead. The nice hairdresser gave me a great haircut and made sure everything was up to par before moving onto the next step. There only fault is that their hair-care products and haircuts are a little too expensive, but worth the money. Would definitely come again. read more

I took my son here after our visit to chuck cheese. I do not recommend bringing small children. He got a butcher job. They are very nice, but the girl who cut his hair obviously had no experience with toddlers and she should have told me, or let someone else cut it. read more

The staff here are incredibly rude. I've visited a few times before and let snarky little comments go because of the convenience of quick walk-in appointments at night. I visited today again and was shocked at their complete lack of common courtesy. It was busy, as expected, so I stood by patiently, even smiling so they wouldn't think I was annoyed. I waited at least fifteen minutes before someone finally gave me the opportunity to check in, as they kept taking other clients before me. Two hairdressers even made a condescending joke to one another after the second one said again, I'll take you in a moment and helped another client checkout before me, again. When they finally had a moment, the one hairdresser asked in a rude tone what I needed, to which I simply said to check in. Then she looked at me as though I was dumb and asked if I checked in online or by phone, which I told her I didn't. She made a face and said how it will be a really long wait, then counted slowly how many people will be in front of me (six total), even after I said I know, a lot. Then she goes well it will be at least an hour, so....? Again, looked at me as though I was dumb. And so I simply said, okay, I'll go then. Then she completely disregarded me and yelled to the people behind me in line, if you didn't check in online it's going to be an hour wait! Had she just been polite I would've come back and made an appointment later. Over twenty bucks after tip for a simple trim? No thanks, with that attitude! I'll take my business elsewhere. read more

Horrible. I usually go to the Supercuts in Wall (which is number 1 in the country for a reason) but wound up at the one in Brick since it is closer to my house. I should have learned my lesson the first time when they turned my hair orange and took off way more than an inch, but I went back. First, I was told it was a 25 minute wait even though I called ahead and came a half hour later. Second, it was a 45 minute wait at which point people were getting up to leave. I told two people I was getting highlights and when they finally got me in a chair, said "oops we don't have enough foils." They had 45 minutes to check when I was waiting. They then proceeded to say they couldn't do my hair and were rude about it, no apology, not even a "come back tomorrow". I asked if i should go elsewhere and got a "yes." They lost a $135 sale and a customer. I will NEVER go there again, only the one in Wall and Neptune. Some "acting managers" from the Brick store work down in the Manahawkin area on Route 9, so I would avoid that one as well. Wall has professional stylists that have been with the company for a long time. Brick has recent grads in and out like clockwork. Lesson learned!! read more
