The owner at Salon 907 ( sorry can't remember her name) took a lot of time and effort to save my hair and correct the mistakes made. She did a great job and called me the next day to ensure I was happy and concerned I understood the next time the price will be much lower. I'm hoping the "other" salon will compensate me for their mistakes.

Audra is skilled and professional. She takes the time to listen to you and your "story" before she starts coloring or cutting. Thank goodness...as we all know that isn't always the case. Audra is focused on making her customers happy...she will grab you a coffee and get right to work. Easy to talk to and committed to excellence...my past 6 visits to Audra have been exceptional...."Hair" is not my thing, so I appreciate a professional eye, who consults as well as stands behind her work!! I found Lakewood Ranch hair salon-Bradenton on Yelp and made an appointment for a cut and highlights. I was told Brittany would be my hairstylist. Boy, was I glad I made that appointment. Brittany is not only a talented and professional hairstylist/colorist, but also personable and easy to talk to. I have very thick, long, heavy hair that was way overdue for a proper cut and color. For almost 20 years, I struggled to find someone in my area with the experience and skill to handle my hair the way I truly envisioned. Well... the search is officially OVER! Rebecca is not only incredibly talented, but you can immediately tell she's highly trained and confident in what she does. She gave me the most beautiful layered cut effortlessly--something that is NOT easy with my hair--and my highlights turned out exactly how I've always wanted: bright blonde, shiny, and full of life. Be aware they reuse shears, brushes, foils etc after being dropped on the ground more than one time without discarding or sanitizing them. Hair stylist also don't wash hands after having multiple clients at once and going back and forth between clients and reuse dirty capes on clients without properly disposing them after each use. The owner as well is unprofessional and will rudely belittle customers over the phone and won't offer refunds even if they are in the wrong for messing client's hair. I lost out on a $300.00 service for a stylist who rushed my appointment and received no proper consultation before appointment end results lead to me being displeased with services and the manager wouldn't offer me a new stylist to redo the work or a refund. Be aware of using the new stylist Tony very inexperienced outdated techniques. My outcome results were hot roots, uneven hair cut, and highlights that prior would bleed through foils. I won't be returning even though I have been a loyal customer for 3 years. I went to Belt salon where they fixed the problem and use updated techniques that minimize damage in hair and prices that make it worth it. This has been reported to BBB.

Unfortunately, she left the salon she was in and moved so I found myself once again searching for a salon. I made an appointment for Lakewood Ranch Hair Salon for Friday (today) at 10:30am. I advised I have short hair and wanted a short haircut and style. I did not even ask how much since I needed my haircut for an event in Naples on Saturday. I arrived 10 minutes before my appointment and I was told my stylist would be right out. My stylist came out and immediately apologized and said she would not be able to cut my hair because she is not good at pixie cuts and does not feel comfortable. She quickly told me another stylist could cut my hair on Saturday. That was not going to work as Saturday I had the event in Naples in the afternoon and in the morning I had another appointment. I don't understand why she or the receptionist could not have called me earlier to advise me of this. I could have scheduled someone else or gone to another salon. This is the most unprofessional way to handle a business. My appointment specifically stated short haircut and style. Did she not read the notes. Needless to say I will not be going back to that salon. Fortunately I found a salon in Naples that will get my haircut before the event.
