Second, and most importantly, Amy did a phenomenal job on my hair!! I decided to stop coloring, several months ago. I've had the demarcation line with grey/silver 1/3 of the way down my hair and the rest a mix of ashy blonde, yellow, and darker brown. There was a lot going on. I was clear with Amy that I do NOT want to get back into a routine of having to color. As an avid scuba diver and outdoorswoman, I am definitely a wash and wear kind of girl. I am NOT going to take any time, so it's got to be easy for me. She knocked it out of the park. Put in I don't even know how many different toners - actually treated every section of my hair that had something different going on, individually. No more line. No more burnt out yellow - just a beautiful blend of my natural silver/salt & pepper, toned. It will take me a day or two to get used to the change but it's time to embrace the "sexy, older woman" vibe. She's one of the very few people I've ever trusted enough to say, "do what you think would look good." She worked with me to pick the best color and highlights. Unlicensed, Unsafe, Unprofessional, and Unsanitary Experience…read more I rarely leave reviews, but I feel obligated to share what happened to me so I can at least raise awareness and protect others. I went to this salon for hair extension services, and the experience was beyond disappointing. * Instead of properly installing extensions, they glued my entire scalp with fake hair extension threads, which caused me severe pain and irritation in my scalp and my right eye. * During the process, the hair technician burned my right ear with a super hot burning flat iron and she didn't even apologized, she smashed some coconut oil on my ear and pretended as if it was part of the process. Then she called upon one of her staff members to help her with my extensions so that I could be done sooner, the staff came and this girl looked and smelled like she hadn't showered in years. She then started combing my hair with a sharp ended thin comb, as she finished combing she then stuck the sharp end of the comb into her wig that she was wearing on her head "weird" I asked her not to do that but then she repeatedly shared the same sweaty comb from her scalp to mine and this practice continued for hours. * The salon itself was extremely dirty and smelled like dog pee -- the staff worked with burned, scabbed and dirty hands using unclean tools. * As a result, I developed an eye infection and severe itching on my scalp the night I came home from their salon. The next day when I raised these concerns to the owner, instead of apologizing or taking some sort of accountability, the owner in a cocky way claimed to be "the police" and insulted me directly by calling me "stupid" for not admitting that everything that happened to me was part of the hair extension process. It wasn't just unprofessional -- in fact it was extremely dangerous, disrespectful, and a clear public health concern. I have filed my complaint legally and I am determined to see this case through and I strongly urge anyone considering this place to protect themselves and please go somewhere else.
