Terrible Customer Service! Scheduled appointment on 8/30/19, arrived early, received no greeting as I sat for several minutes alone in the waiting lobby. There were two stylists attending to customers, one had finished upon my arrival, closing out the payment transaction with her customer, then returned to her station, to begin cleaning the area. Another customer arrived with a very young child, and sat for a minute in the waiting area. The employee returned from her station and immediately acknowledged the other customer without first extending a courtesy greeting to me. This is not been my first visit, I am aware of how the scheduling system works, as it goes, the attendant is to verify all online scheduling as customers arrive, and generally receive a greeting and online schedule appointment verification. I did observe that she viewed the computer screen at the reception desk, however only she can explain the oversight and lack of quality customer service. I am not to assume that the other customer may have had scheduled an appointment too, if so, it was very unclear to me. I never received any type of greeting, and so I decided to walk out and away, and as I did, neither of the two employees made any attempt to talk to me...very odd and inconsistent customer service practices. read more

Okay, I know what you are thinking. It's super cuts, but I actually like this place. I've taken both my daughters here for haircuts. I've been happy with both times. It's roughly $15.00 for each haircut without shampooing or anything but I enjoyed their atmosphere and the stylist. No complaints/ nothing bad to say/ nada. read more

This is my first time going to this Supercuts in Alpine. Actually my first hair cut in over 1 year. My stylist Alejandra listened to what i was asking for and my cut and style was perfect. Plus she is just the nicest person. I will be back for sure and request Alejandra. Thank You read more

Update: I went back after noticing that, in addition to all of the other crap, the two sides of my hair were uneven by about an inch. I caught an attitude from the stylist when I confronted her. I spoke to the owner who begged me to let the stylist fix it. Well, the layers look like crap and the framing around my face is choppy. Never go here, you'll just have to pay someone to fix it. read more

I have been hoing to Alpine Supercuts for a couple of years now. I have always got a haircut that I like. I would recommend

Only giving one star because I have to. From the second we walked in the 3 stylists were incredibly unprofessional and rude. Talking like we couldn't hear them. Arguing over who was going to take my son because he is a baby and none of them wanted the challenge. After delegating my son was put into his seat and she cut his hair. The cut was shit. I was too scared to ask her to fix it. My husband was having his hair cut at the same time by another girl who completely screwed his hair up too. I had to ask her to fix it and she was not able to so she asked the other stylist to do it for her. It looked better, considering the first girl butchered it, but still a mess. We paid and left and will never return! read more

The worst, understaffed and haircuts are terrible. I have a 5 year old son that they have managed to mess his hair up twice now. Will not be going back. Today we went in because they were the last resort, waited for over a half hour, only one person working and she took a lady that just walked in over us that had been there for a half hour. She never gave us a time frame, just said "sign in" when I signed in it said we were next... not the case. read more

Do NOT go here!!!!!!! They are horrible!!! They don't listen to how you ask them to cut hair. I took my son and asked just to shave side and back and she chopped his hair short everywhere. The worst experience ever! I have a simple comb over with a fade. And i didnt wanna go all the way to el cajon to get a hair cut so i came here 30 mins before the closed. I go out of town the next day so i needed a. Quick cut. She obviously didnt know what a fade is. She straight put a whole trail accross my head. So think of a #2 all around and then on the back of my head a #1 accross my head. And then #2 on the bottom. So the "fade" she attempted wasnt even on the bottom it was literally in the middle. Worst experience ever. I went to go get my money back and they said they couldnt do it because its "fixable". Yeah its fixable but im gonna look like an idiot. Never coming here again. Kind and courteous staff. Didn't wait too long for my haircut. Salon was very clean and my haircut was on point. Had a very pleasant experience overall. Stylist was Cassy she was she was fast, friendly, and efficient. Got me in and out in under 15 minutes. read more

A couple of issues have arisen for me, re Supercuts in Alpine. Perhaps the most consistently irritating is that, before I can get just a plain old haircut, they want my name, my zip code, my address, and my phone number. IT'S JUST A HAIRCUT, for crying out loud! I can think of no reason whatsoever why, prior to just cutting my hair, Supercuts needs my name and address and phone number. This is the only Supercuts where I've encountered this issue, so I'm confident it's an ownership issue, but it needs to stop. I'm glad that Laurel has had such a great experience with Samantha. I thought I would have a similarly successful experience, too, until I figured out that what "no clippers" means to me is NOT, apparently, what "no clippers" means to Samantha. For me, "no clippers" means "NO CLIPPERS!" Apparently, for Samantha, "no clippers" means "Oh, what the heck, let's just go ahead and do a Jethro Gibbs high and tight, just for fun." I've been to the Alpine Supercuts twice now and both times have been negative. I'm not sure I'm up for a 3rd. read more

Supercuts is possibly the worst barbershop in the world. I spent 25$ for a haircut and the gave me a horrible one. I had to wear a cap for 2 months just to cover up the mess. read more

I went in this week to have my hair trimmed and some layering around the front. The stylist did not have a clue. She washed my hair and then started cutting it. It was just hanging in my face on both sides. She looked at it and indicated that she was finished. I asked her how did I know that it was the style I wanted since it still wet. And I was suppose to go outside when the temperature was 60 degrees with wet hair ? She blew dry my hair and it looked like crap. She called a woman over by the name of Cat who directed her. By this time I knew I had made a mistake by coming into Supercuts. She cut a little more and then that was it. I was ready to be out of there. I paid her and even gave her a tip. Now I have two strands of hair that just hang in my eyes unless I hairspray the heck out it. As my retired stylist use to state, "If you have to plaster your hair with spray to get it to do anything, you have a crappy cut." Never again will I go to Supercuts in Alpine. It was a total waste of money and now I will have to have another stylist attempt to straighten it out. read more

Seriously awful! My husband is active duty, he went in and asked if they new how to do a military fade. A woman said she knew how to. After cutting his hair he told her that it was not right and in fact out of regulation and he was going to have to shave his head completely. She then said that she didn't know how to do the cut and charged him 18 dollars! When he contested the cost of the cut considering it was completely wrong and she lied to get his business she threatened to call the police. This is the most ridiculous facility ever and I do not recommend anyone go there! read more

Worst haircut ever- I am a retired hairstylist went in for a half inch trim. The stylist was not friendly had a very monotone voice and when I asked her just for a half inch trim all over she didn't seem very thrilled to do it especially because my hair was curly and very dry on the ends and I did not want a shampoo as I had shampooed it myself the day before. She started combing it from top to bottom ripping the comb through my hair and then said we had to go get it wet at the shampoo bowls which I was OK with and then when I sat back down in her chair she just continue to rip the comb through it from top to bottom again instead of starting at the bottom - that is basic hairstyling 101 one of the first things you learn in beauty college. I asked her if she had any leave -in conditioner she could put in my hair and she said no but finally asked me if she could put some oil in it and I said OK even though I wasn't crazy about the idea. Next thing I know 1-2" pieces of hair are coming off my head but I don't want to say anything for fear of her taking out her problems or whatever was going on in her head on top of my head! I thought because she had curly hair maybe she will do an OK job if I just didn't say anything. My hair is so chopped up with differences of 2 to 3 inches in different areas I am so appalled ! I won't even go back there to try and have them fix it because I would never walk through those doors again what a waste of time money and chopping off a lot of my hair that I was trying to keep long. I think part of the problem she might've been jealous of my long hair because curly hair it is very hard to grow long it takes a long time and she should know it. It's a very mean vindictive move to do with somebody that you don't even know maybe she had a hangover or was having personal problems but that was no excuse for taking it out on me. I give them -5 stars for their review and btw this is the first review I have ever done for anything - that's how upset I am. I think her name is Alicia - I wouldn't know she didn't introduce herself to me which was the first sign of being unprofessional . It's too bad she was so unprofessional because I was looking for a new hairstylist as my old one had retired. And I usually tip $10-$15 for a haircut so - her loss. In October I was charged $64 (did not include tip) for a simple wash, cut and blow dry. My hair was considered long but she cut about 5 inches off, straight across, didn't even cut it in layers. I felt the scissors go across my back. Al together it took about 1/2 hour. What cost so much was the drying, $35 to dry hair that was just below the shoulders. No styling, no fancy cut, and I told her to dry it so I wouldn't be wet going out. Once I got home I looked in the mirror and thought it didn't look straight but figured it was because I was looking in a hand held mirror. Went to my daughters house and she says "Mom your hair is cut crooked". I go to SuperCuts on Camino Canada (where I usually go) and ask them to fix it. Not only do they fix it (had to cut off another 1 1/2 inches to even it out) but they do it for free! I called to complain and the said that the owner told her to charge that much. When I called the owner she said no that she didn't tell her that and would give me back $15. I should have complained before I left but I didn't realize all the costs because I also bought some shampoo and rinse (total bill $109) and didn't figure it out until I got home.
