I don't recommend this place at all. I had horrible experience with Vickey. Highly unprofessional and rude lady who doesn't have any customer service experience. She was extremely arrogant, very disrespectful towards me just because I booked my appointment for 5:15 pm for all over color while salon closing time is 7 pm. Despite being on time, she repeatedly argued with me like I had committed a big mistake. She kept humiliating me in front of other customers. It was the worst experience I ever had. Unprofessional. My kid has dandruff and they told him it was lice. I went to a lice specialist in Torrance, they confirmed it was not lice! I had the specialist call this place and spoke with the lady here. The specialist just told her if she is not qualified or certified, do not give false information. I have been going to this Supercuts to get a haircut from Anh every other week for around nine years. She always gives a perfect haircut, is fun to catch up with every time, and is the sole reason I come back so often (I live and work about 15 minutes away). I know I'm not the only one with this sentiment as she has more regular customers than most. As far as the shop, the ability to easily sign in and make an appointment saves me a lot of time and enables me to schedule my bi-weekly visits when it fits best in my schedule. Tuesdays seem the busiest due to the special they have in place, but that hasn't been much of an issue. read more

The haircuts are fine. The customer service is horrible. I had a scheduled appointment but arrived early. Two people were already waiting so I asked to be put on the walk-in wait list. I waited 30 min when another client walked in and was put on the wait list. The 2 people in front of me left and then the person who came in after me was taken -at which point the older Asian woman who appeared in charge said I would be next (I was the only one there!) So I left and went to Great Clips on La Paz where I got a great haircut for less money and was treated fairly and courteously. That is my new salon. read more

Ok...back story. I recently decided to stop coloring my hair after 35 years. Basically, shaved it all off March 1, 2023 and have been growing it out. Although I love my silver hair, I have been very self-conscious of how it looks and fearing that I look might like an old grandma at 58. They never dried my daughter's hair, so it wasn't until after we left and it dried that I realized the back was totally uneven. I tried to get in touch online and no one will get back to me. I also felt like the stylist was impatient with my daughter... I told her that my daughter was hard of hearing and couldn't hear her at all but she kept talking to her and getting frustrated when she didn't respond (because... she can't hear). Another customer came in while we were there to have her hair "fixed" after a stylist there had done a poor job. For whatever reason, the post responding to this said I reached out anonymously and provided the wrong email address, but that's completely untrue... I reached out through their Facebook page, which obviously can't be done anonymously. The email address I provided was correct, so either it was mistyped on their end, or else it was never sent. In all honesty, I have never been a fan of Supercuts due to a several bad experiences years ago (in San Diego) but after reading the reviews for this location I decided to give it another go. I called last minute, Valentino picked up and let me know he could do a dry cut if I came in now. For context, I have FINE hair but a lot of it and many hair stylists don't know how to cut it right so it grows out stringy. The second I went in and sat down Valentino knew EXACTLY what I didn't like without me even saying anything. Gave me solutions to my hair problems, knew precisely how to cut my type of hair, did it in 15 minutes, and I was out the door. I went home, showered and styled it to see how it looks and it's great! I will only be having Valentino cut my hair from now on. Definitely worth the visit. read more

Woman cut my hair for like 5 minutes and then told me she was done. I said are you sure and she said yes. She never even cleaned up my neck line. Ladies if you want the most BASIC haircut to save on cost and move away from DIY cuts, this place isn't half-bad LoL - no frills haircut is now $30. It's $50 for blowdry for those with long hair. Lady named Vicky cut my hair - she did a decent job on the first round with the cut and some layers. After showing me the back I felt it wasn't short enough and ask her to cut 1 more inch off, at this point she seemed pissed as she had to do it again. She simply did a straight cut of 1 inch across and did NOT redo the layers. I told her I'm not seeing layers anymore and she simply pulled up some strands and said there's layers here - like I'm an idiot. I did not appreciate this at all. A hair cut no matter how much the charge still costs us money so we deserve a stylist who can be accommodating and not pissy if customer isn't fully satisfied. Only come here if you aren't too worry about style and just need a cleanup. read more

If I could give it zero stars I would. I had never had issues with any Supercuts until Saturday 5/13. I just wanted a simple haircut shoulder length and thinned out due to my thick hair and headaches. I got placed with Anh even though it was a simple haircut I felt like it was done in less than 10 mins or so. since I believe her next client showed up just as she was gonna take me to her chair. She wanted to hand me off to someone else but that hair stylist said no and took someone else. My haircut trim was okay but she completely butchered and ruined my hair when it came to thinning it out. When she started to thin out my hair she was just chopping away close the scalp like she was Edward scissors hand. She's supposed to be a professional hairdresser. When my hair is wet you can't tell it's ruined since the curls. But once I started straightening it I started to feel all the areas she just CHOPPED AWAY(thinning). Hair is about 2in from my scalp. I've had my hair thinned out many times but she completely chopped that crap off. The worst part is that it now looks like I'm balding in that area behind my head. I can't even wear it straighten anymore. Also it was a Mother's Day Gift to myself since giving birth a few short weeks ago. I just have to clip it up and wait for it to grow back. First time going to this location and definitely the last time. I DO NOT RECOMMEND Anh So disappointed. read more
