Max, with the back office team, confirmed my schedule and was available if I had questions. Carla was my cleaning professional. She arrived early, showed up with all her tools and solutions in hand. She put on booties as she entered my home. She walked the two bathrooms and then got to work. She ran over by 30 minutes. Max, called to confirm the extra time so Carla could continue to work. The whole time Carla was available for questions and asked for my inspection after the work. She was very pleasant to talk to and helpful. Tip was added to the invoice after the work was completed. No need to hand over cash or deal with cards. The work was beyond great. Dusted, mopped, trash emptied, mirrors clean, trash liners added to the dust bins, and even the paper label put over the toilet cover and seat to show it had been sanitized. Great team Carla and Max. The ladies that came to clean our house did a good job, I won't deny that. But the whole process would have been a lot smoother and less frustrating had the coordination and billing been more upfront. I requested a move out cleaning and had coordinated pricing based on square footage and rooms with someone over the phone. They knew what they were quoting me for. I'll admit, my rental did need a little more work but it wasn't in obscene condition by any means. I thought superb maids' pricing was competitive, until the day of the cleaning. Only 2 hours into the cleaning, I got a call, they hit me with an additional $315 dollar fee because they needed more time. They gave me the option to not pay the fee but that meant "prioritizing" certain areas and not completing the move out clean. When I booked the service, I got the impression that the cost was a flat fee for the specific service. At no point did they discuss additional fees with me. Also keep in mind that on their website, under the move out cleaning page it specifically says: "Tasks are defined and approved before the service begins -- pricing is fixed in advance" Which was very misleading in my case. The staff were all friendly, and good to work with (as good as it could be with a situation like this I suppose). But the whole situation left me blindsided and with a bad taste in my mouth. If you're looking to hire superb maids, they'll do a decent job, but make sure you ask about fee pricing up front so you don't get surprised on the back end. P.S. check your trash bins after a move out cleaning. One of the "typical" services included with move out is supposed to include "trash removal", yet they left trash in my bin which was a no go on my move out inspection with my landlord. read more

The cleaners did an OK job; the problem is with the management and scheduling team. They came days in advance to see my house and determine the scope of cleaning. I showed them what needed to be cleaned and I was given a quote, and we explicitly agreed to a flat rate to clean the entire house. Midway through the cleaning, a man named Max called and identified himself as a manager. He stated that the original quote was merely an estimate and claimed that my home was "too large," insisting that I pay 50% more for the cleaning to continue and be completed. I see now from prior reviews that this appears to be a pattern of behavior with this company--quoting one price upfront and then demanding a significant increase once the job is already underway. The quality of customer service has declined over the year. The cleaners broke my kitchen faucet and did not let me know. I did not find out until after they left. Additionally they wanted to charge me an additional $100 since based on their records I didn't have my house cleaned for over 6 months, however it doesn't make sense since all of my guest rooms are untouched and although I didn't use their service that does not mean I didn't clean my house for 6 months, they do not realize I used another cleaning company to clean my house twice before I had them clean my house again. We were quoted $362 for deep clean of a 3 bedroom house. That was for 3.5. About an hour in the fee went up to $700 for an additional 4 hrs. Due to 'stuck dog hair in 2 rooms (one a bathroom ). I declined paying more, so I told them floors were most important. Cut to the end, the bedrooms, bathrooms (2) and kitchen floors and hallways were cleaned. The ladies (2) were very nice and went as fast as they could. I was happy with what they were able to do; but there was no dusting, cleaning the living room or any ceiling fans. Moral of the story: find a housekeeper that works for herself - Companies time limits are too restricted. In this economy $1000 deep cleaning for not a large home is insane. Everyone at Superb maids were very nice, excellent communication, but I will not continue with them. I found a housekeeper that my neighbor uses for 1/2 the price. They were quick to respond to my message about quoting me a price to clean my 4 bedroom, 2 1/2 bathroom two story home and the price was very reasonable for the amount of work they had to do, especially on the very first clean that was a deep cleaning service. I asked for a deep clean of the house and it felt superficial at best. Three people were sent out and they budgeted barely an hour of time for each floor. It didn't seem like they moved anything to wipe underneath it or clean anything that sat on a countertop or surface. It's not like I have a lot of fragile things in my house (I have two cats who could break stuff easily) so there shouldn't have been a concern about damage. We had a real big mess at our new home, Andrea and her team really took care of us. We had just purchased an old farmhouse and set out to clean it up and turn it from bleak into chic. Over the years, this place really conjured up some filth. The doors were so dirty that they would open and shut on their own. The cupboard was creaky and we could hear clapping sounds, and the curtains were so long and dirty, I swear it looked like an old ghost blowing through the house. Previous owner must have been a real witch, because boy she left some red stains all over the wood floors that I gave up on. My youngest daughter said that the bathroom was so dirty she would rather kill herself than take a bath in the filthy tub. And the celler - dont even get me started. Its almost as if someone was trapped down there left to die and just started breaking everything. This is where Superb Maids came to the rescue. Our house need a real exorcism to get it livable, and the Superb came in almost possessed get us back to living clean and comfortable. SO FAST!! They were just slashing the grime off the tubs and toilets, and they killed all of the dirt on the walls. They obviously know what they're doing, and they work very quickly and efficiently -- much more so than I could have -- and probably got done what I could've achieved in two days in more like four hours. They weren't just quick but thorough and the place is transformed. They were also friendly and helpful. Joe, a supervisor to whom I talked on the phone, was also very helpful in that he clearly explained things very well. After elena contacted me asking for a chance to fix the issue agreed to give them the opportunity. This review is in two parts. 5* the job the staff did actually cleaning. They went above and beyond cleaning every crack. 3* everything else. I found the constant marketing over the top. The communication remained a huge issue. None of the girls understood my on site instructions because of language barriers and i was not given a go between until well after the job began. I found the tactic of trying to get me to schedule monthly appointments just a few hours after the job eas completed and without giving me a quote very off putting. I was really debating on posting a review on the company. But it's been bothering me now that I reflect on it. I got my property cleaned early/mid Jan. I got the move in+deep clean option... With sanitization fog thingy. I appreciate that they had upfront pricing, but to save you time ~600 usd not including cash tip I gave them. The person who did the initial assessment and sanitizer was really nice. They did a great job with the bedrooms, bathrooms (phenomenal actually), and storage. My main concern was the kitchen. I wish they would've given me an estimated time finish on when the job will be finished. I found out later (after 5+ hours) once I reached out to customer service. I felt disrespected in my own house. Upon arriving, I greeted them and all 3 of them stared at me. One maid was talking in a rudely manner in their native tongue. I understand it's a tough job, but don't put your frustration on me; I hired you. I'm just trying to move in to the property I bought... I assumed they were having a rough day, so I didn't think much of it... But I do have the right to let you know that I'm still not okay with this till this day. They missed a few spots. I understand they can't get all the walls. But what's really bothering me is how they cleaned one side of the cabinet and not the other. I paid a hefty price and this is not acceptable at all.
