Colon Hydrotherapy
Elesse N.

Had a wonderful experience with DL Whitaker. She is so friendly and personable. Her office space is very clean with a warm ambiance. I just came back from Hawaii and felt super backed up and constipated. I had been calling around different offices to get my first colonic hydrotherapy session. Donita was so sweet enough to accommodate me that same morning. I filled out a questionnaire upon arrival and got straight to it. DL Whitaker answered all my questions and made me feel comfortable and relaxed throughout the session. Lots of deep breaths and massaging throughout the session to break up all the bs in my guts. Lol. As the water filled me up until I felt enough pressure, she released and I saw all the particles leave my body. After the session I felt so relieved and a lot less bloated! Donita also recommended a great probiotic to help with my gut health. I recommend her service to everyone.

Bad picture but it's very inviting.

First of all, just going to an appointment like this is uncomfortable, but 2 therapists Lisa and Kerri (moved) made me feel so comfortable. I will go in feeling so yucky and leave feeling like I can take on the world. It's truly probably saving my life. I take great pride in making sure I live a very healthy lifestyle, and living with chronic constipation and have had a Preferidad colon, I don't mess around. No medications worked so this is my jam! Thank you for keeping me healthy!

What an amazing Wellness spa. I had minor surgery which left me impacted. I was in pain and so I'd done colonics before but the place in Modesto closed down several years ago. Great for detoxing in general i needed to be seen. Hospitals give you a fluid to drink and it's very painful so i opted to seek out another nurse to help me. She has a hydro colonics machine and you'll leave feeling 100% better. Kerri also sells Body Deli products which are amazing. There's a massage person there as well. She does Ionic foot detox baths. Sells packages on all services. Thank you Kerri!!!..

How do you book an appointment?

You must call and make an appointment. If no one is there to answer your call you can leave a message and they will call you back.

Is the colonic a closed or open system?

It's a closed system which in my opinion is a better option. It's cleaner and less work for everyone involved.

How much is a hydro colonic cost?

$100.

I am not clear why the same business has two Yelp profiles so I'm posting again: A family member of…read moremine was diagnosed with cancer, and while researching treatment options, I came across Infuze MD. After a brief call with an employee named Paolo, who spoke positively about the clinic, I shared the information with my relative. In hindsight, I realize that in my desperation, I may have overlooked warning signs. At the time, I did not realize Paolo is not a medical professional, even though he was the first person discussing treatment options. The clinic is owned and operated by Dr. Nilda Agnes Abellera, who is board-certified in PEDIATRICS but whose clinic advertises integrative medicine. My relative traveled from out of state to begin what was described as an "intensive" 20-day cancer program. According to her account, the first three days did not feel intensive. She reported that infusion rates appeared slowed, staff could not explain the scientific basis for some treatments, and the doctor missed a planned medication review. She also observed what she believed was dried blood on a chair and described an IV bag fully draining while the needle was in place, which worried her. On October 9, 2025, she said her care was terminated immediately after raising concerns, without timely written notice, referrals, or arrangements to ensure access to medical care until she could establish care elsewhere. Referrals were only provided after I contacted the clinic. This abrupt termination caused a delay of over a month in her treatment and worsened her PTSD symptoms. She also tried to obtain her medical records multiple ways. On October 10, she requested them in person but was denied. She also submitted a written request and used the clinic's online inquiry form. As of this writing--52 days later--she has not received her complete records. When I called the clinic, Paolo was tense and dismissive, and I could not speak directly with Dr. Abellera. Given the situation, I became concerned about whether proper procedures were followed and intended to file a complaint with the Medical Board of California. Additional observations and concerns (personal experience): Family-run structure: The clinic is owned by Dr. Abellera. Paolo appears to manage many aspects, and another family member may also work there. This raised questions about oversight and role clarity. Online reviews: Of 32 Google reviews, 5 were five-star without details. Only one mentioned "cancer," making it hard to evaluate patient experiences compared with other clinics with hundreds of detailed reviews. Difficulty communicating with the physician: My relative and I tried to speak directly with Dr. Abellera; she did not speak with me, and my relative felt the doctor was unwilling to address her concerns. This lack of communication was alarming given her serious diagnosis. Cost vs. expectations: The program cost approximately $1,800 per day. Based on my relative's experience, the services did not match the program description. Others may feel differently, but this was our impression. Social media promotion: Paolo participates in Facebook groups promoting the clinic without identifying himself as an employee, which seemed misleading. I have included a screenshot for reference. In more than a decade in healthcare, I have never witnessed a more concerning divergence from a physician's duty to do no harm: terminating care without notice, effectively leaving my relative without immediate, comparable care options while facing life-threatening cancer.

I was very skeptical so I originally went for just one session. I was immediately put at ease by James's calm demeanor when he greeted me so I quickly filled out my intake questionnaire and then it was time to start my first session. My experience with James was incredibly personalized, he asked some broad questions at first and really took the time to understand my challenges, and I ended up asking for his help with a number of other things in future sessions. We started that day with my overwhelming to-do list that seemed to grow each day. Then I closed my eyes and with his skilled guidance and soothing voice, I felt the stress and anxiety peel away. It wasn't like my daily meditations where my mind was always wandering to other topics but instead; I walked away from each session with a renewed sense of clarity and purpose. I have found myself tackling my to do list with newfound enthusiasm and calmness. I have also been having alot of pain in my back after an injury. I had gone to physical therapy which had helped but it still acts up. James had explained something called The Emmet Technique which I saw him for 90 minutes and it opened up the blood floor to that area and hasn't bothered me since. My experience with James at JPHolistics has been amazing. His holistic approach to therapy, combined with his insightful guidance on personal and interpersonal matters, combined with the hypnotherapy has really been a huge help. I highly recommend James.

The test in themselves take around 3 weeks to get back the results and then your put on a waitlist to make an appointment to go over the results. In the meantime time is just passing by and you're suffering with no answers! They need a better system for appointments to go over results.
