A few months ago I left with mixed feelings about the place especially since it came so highly recommended. I have been busy and have forgotten to use my voice to share my poor experience at this family run business. Dr Ito is knowledgable about her practice and her husband Todd serves as a solid receptionist. Great team. I left because of Dr Itos lack of professionalism and diminishing service. She does not respond to constructive feedback well nor is she able to keep up a level of decorum if something prior to a patients visit was upsetting. I don't know what it was but she was clearly upset during one of my visits and I felt that uninviting vibe right off the bat. In one of the sessions she raised her voice and was almost scolding because I was taking my time make a decision about paying for extra care. After purchasing this extra package, I came in and it was as if she would rush through our visits. Shortly after, I noticed she wasn't even referring to my chart to see what areas I needed work on. To make matters worse, I told her I had stated I needed her to work on me and she quickly massaged me standing up outside of the door hurriedly so she could greet her next appointment. I was fed up at this point. It infuriates me to think that a chiropractor signed up for this to be a full time job and cannot provide satisfactory service! I called and addressed her and asked for a refund. She was defensive, raised her voice over the phone, and was not apologetic at all. I really wanted it to work but I could not stand the often intrusive questions, shoddy services, and lack of professionalism that I was paying for! Please save your money and go elsewhere. I've been to a number of different chiropractors in my lifetime as my back issues started when I was in high school more than 20 years ago. Football, basketball, baseball, lifting and Muay Thai all mess my back up often. Dr Ito is very thorough and insightful. I have been seeing Dr. Kerry for about 2 years now. I found her when looking for a new Chiro and I was mostly looking for a more gentle approach. I found it with her. Recently I've been working 51 hr weeks for the last 6 weeks. Pair that with stress and all things that come with being a woman...I was hurting. I had a headache that would not go away for the last 3 weeks, so I saw Dr. Ito yesterday. She took extra care to check for TMJD, did some cranial work, and at the end of it all my headache decreased drastically. It is now the next morning, and the first I was able to get up from bed without that pain in my skull. I have been under Dr. Kerry Ito's care for some time now and the work she does is amazing. I made an appointment for my husband for his sciatica pain after he went to massage therapists, acupuncturist, and five chiropractors in Modesto, Manteca, here Stockton, and still found no relief. I have been going to this Chiropractic Office for almost 2 years now. Dr. Ito has always been real attentive to my strains & sprains and anything I tell her that doesn't feel right. She does a great job isolating the problem spot and within time they no longer persist! She listens to what is happening currently in your life and how the "strains or sprains" might have happen. Example, I had a long commute (2.5 hrs one way) last year at my last job and in time my neck tighten , I had a neck issue that didn't allow me to turn to the right without lifting up my left side of my shoulder. Since i seen her....i can turn freely without lifting my left shoulder or feeling stiff! Also , due to working out with weights i sprained my shoulder and within time she worked on my muscles around it and now I can get back to normal form without compromising. Currently, My new job if more physical than my last and she gives great advice and also pays attention to the areas where I tend to use my dominant side the most. Her cautiousness allows me to be cautious of making sure I use BOTH sides not just one. I want to stress that seeing her more than once allowed my body to adjust correctly... not a "magic pill" where one visit takes it all away. I appreciate the knowledge she also has with nutrition and i feel motivated to learn more about it specifically the supplements they have since the brands they offer are good and reputable. I don't ever feel pushed to by them and I appreciate that. Todd is also very responsive an communicate in the front. Life happens and if I need to reschedule, cancel or ask for a later time he is always accommodating. They truly care about what they do and if your looking for a family atmosphere but need your spine corrected then you found it! She even see's my kids posture when i visit! This is a BIG BONUS for any parent. I highly recommend this office and will be a patient along with my kids for as long as they have their practice. read more
