I stopped by to get some expert guidance on some rooftop patio trees and found Nathan to be a wealth of information. He was excited by my challenge and spent time with me to understand what I wanted and what considerations I'd need to address before making a purchase. As we walked through the gardens, I was impressed at the amount of beautiful trees, flowers and plants that I saw. Not only that, but the folks who work here know their stuff and are very helpful to ensure the customer ends up with a flourishing garden (or whatever they plant). I learned that the soil really does matter and they will help concoct a custom recipe of dirt to make sure your plants thrive. I ended up not getting anything today-but I will absolutely come back when I'm ready to get my trees! read more

This nursery was very very confusing. they have some selections of plants. But the layout doesn't make much sense. On top of it they don't have the nursery spaced out enough where it's easy to walk around. the layout also makes you feel like you're not supposed to be there when in reality you are. They don't label things very well either so it makes navigating things hard. They have very limited parking as well. the employees are very helpful which is vital when the layout is confusing. if you do not know much about plants it will be hard for you to navigate around. I highly recommend Arbor Day check out Glovers nursery and look at how they organize their plants including labels and signs. read more

Ever on the hunt for new nurseries and garden centers, I was excited to discover Arbor Day nursery, and doubly so when I found they are open Sundays. Yes! Though on the smaller side, they still offer most everything one would expect. Of especial interest to me were the absolute plethora of pots and garden décor. I fell in love with several beautiful sculptures and water fountains. A shed off their main building contained so, so many fertilizers and soil amendments, one of particular note called Yum Yum Mix that is mild, and specially formulated for our area and climate! Lastly, they had stunning variegated roses out front. Though my visit was later in the season, some vegetables and herbs remained, and at checkout, I was informed that they were actually buy one get one free. Hurray! Also of note, the building in which the checkout is located housed many smaller garden accessories, supplies and cute gifts. Some items were priced on the higher end, but not all, and others, like the fertilizer, were way less than I have seen elsewhere. They also offer a $100 store credit for every $1,000 spent. Very generous if you can manage to spend that much! Oh, and they had food out for feral kitties; we even saw one sweet ebony kitten prowling around. That warms my heart and makes me want to support them even more! read more

I was so impressed with everything they had in stock. I was only there for wood chips, but need to go back to peruse the rest. BTW, some of the best prices I've seen around the area. I was checked on multiple times to see if I needed anything. That speaks for their service right there. They were quick to get what I needed. read more

My wife and I have enjoyed Arbor Day nursery for a few years now. The selection is amazing and the staff is top shelf. I writing this review because of what we experienced at another local nursery I'll call G Love. We were there looking for a rather obscure perennial. We purchased six Aspen trees last spring from Arbor Day. One did not survive the winter. Arbor Day replaced this tree with no issues or questions. Unbelievable customer service and plant guarantee. Back to G Love now. I watched a customers integrity challenged regarding the same issue. The man had all of the paperwork and a seriously dead tree in his truck. The interrogation was beyond ridiculous. I was embarrassed for a man I'd never seen before in my life. We left disgusted and will continue shopping with small family owned and ran nurseries in the future. read more

Not a place for kids. My son was lightly touching a statue and one of the employees scolded us. Fair enough,but I probably won't go back. They have a lot of pretty roses, but this was smaller than other nurseries and I felt more welcome at others in the area. read more

I can't not say enough great things about this company. I had to shop around for a crab apple tree because mine died at our new home. I knew nothing about this tree or the process. I needed to purchase one over the phone (since the virus outbreak and isolation) and have it delivered, the old tree removed, and the new one planted. Pam was AMAZING! She walked me through the entire process. She helped me pick out what type of crab apple (Royal Raindrop), took pictures on her cell phone and sent them to me e.t.c. She went above and beyond to help me. No other company I called that day was willing to do any of this. Needless to say they came out, took my old tree and planted my new beautiful one. Expensive but worth it. I'll definitely be back! read more

The people are so nice and helpful here. Not to mention the plants look healthy, and they had some fun and unique plants I haven't seen around. The garden section has non-gmo starts. Which is what I wanted. They are also open Sundays, and that is a huge bonus! read more

Arbor Day Nursery is where I go when I want to buy a tree. They've got great trees, the staff is very knowledgeable, and they provide advice and/or services to get that tree in right, even removing another tree to make room if needed. For trees, they get 10 stars out of 5. They also have fun garden decor items that you won't find elsewhere. But if you are looking for smaller plants, you'll find their selection quite limited. I would give 5 stars if they had a better selection of smaller plants, but as their space is limited, and mostly filled with trees, I have to go elsewhere for smaller plants. read more

Arbor Day Nursery has a great selection of plants. The staff is so helpful and very knowledgeable. We found a great variety of trees for our yard and they had a variety of sizes available for purchase. They also gave great advice for planting and caring for our trees. We bought a Amur Flame Maple tree back in April of 2016 from them. We had them remove a large dying tree and plant this 18 foot maple about 3 feet away from the one they removed. Their guys did an excellent job, and the tree is still alive and straight (even after some big wind storms). read more

Amazing experience. The owners, Darren totally took his time with us and helped teach us about gardening. Every time we've returned they've been so helpful and nice. I highly recommend this place. They have a great variety of plants and trees. Once again I can't tell you how amazing the customer service was. We did go to some of their competitors first and they totally made us feel stupid about the ideas we were having for our yard. When we got to this place, they were super friendly helped us work within the ideas that we had come up with and they were really patient.
